This one was smoking like singe your fingers need a cold shower to cool down hot.
It’s a paranormal ménage M/M/F romance featuring a demon Lord an Incubus and a Succubus it’s set in the dark provenance world but can be read as a stand-alone.
So Something is killing humans and leaving Guinevere’s essence behind as the supposed culprit.
As a young succubus, she has a known issue with her control when feeding but it’s something she’s been working on with the help of Zane and Zebulon.
Lord Zebulon is a demonic lord with a shed load of power he also has a soft spot for Gwen so is determined to get to the bottom of just who is framing her.
Zane is an old and powerful Incubus one that crushed Gwen’s feelings years back mostly to push her away he has always craved her despite these actions, they are also incompatible due to their identical sex demon natures both needing to feed from others.
Zebulon is that bridge that connects them and when these three finally connect as a trio they click like missing pieces of a puzzle.
Gwen being the piece that neither knew was missing and the demonic lord’s power is more than enough to keep them all sated.
The danger that Gwen is facing brings all three finally onto the same page with Zane and Zebulon realising just what’s at stake here their future happiness together.
This was fast-paced and filled with plenty of supernatural intrigue and a bucket load of spice.
I really enjoyed this one a great deal, I’ve read the majority of this authors books but this was my first experience with this particular series. I will now definitely be adding the rest of them to my TBR pile.

* You need to read the previous books and bovella to fully understand this story.
Succubus Gwen is accused of a murder she didn't commit, even though some men sometimes tend to die in her care. But the corpses lying on the street are not her work and with the help of incubus Zane and Demonic Lord Zebulon she has twelve days to clear her name. But a war between heaven and hell is stirring and they cannot be sure who to trust and how to track the mystery killer. And with the sensual tension tearing at all three of them, Gwen has her adventure cut out for her.
Pro's:
+ There are a lot of sexy scenes in this book and all of them are written in a way that gets your blood heated. There are MM, MMF and MF scenes, I really liked the variety of it all and all of them are quite different what didn't make them boring at all. As this was hinted at in the summary, this was one sexy adventure.
+ For a book that was all about the sexy scenes, the character progression and underlying story was written quite well, it won't bore you. Also, we get another puzzle piece in the overarching story and I really liked that.
Con's:
- The timeline of this story is really, really confusing. I think it takes place between book one and two, but without the clarification it was quite confusing. There are also still quite a lot of puzzle pieces missing and I didn't like not having the complete story.
For a sexy romance story, this is quite a good one. The amount of depth in the characters actually quite surprised me and there was more to the story than just all the sexy scenes. All the sexy stuff was also very diverse and I really liked that, it didn't feel like there was just sex for the sake of sex. The timeline of this story in the overall universe is quite confusing though. I'm not sure where this falls in the overarching story, but I'm curious for the next story in this universe.

Per quanto la scrittura e i dialoghi siano come sempre un tripudio a un’autrice con grande professionalità, la trama e la costruzione dei personaggi non mi ha convinta del tutto.
Siamo di fronte a Gwen, una Succubo, già conosciuta nella serie Dark Provenance, con un carattere sincero e “innocente”, sebbene per sua natura debba alimentarsi della forza sessuale degli esseri umani al punto da prosciugarla spesso. Beh, diciamo che sta imparando a controllarsi un po’ in modo che i poveracci, dopo una notte sfrenata, non finiscano arrotolati in un tappeto giunti ormai a miglior vita. Chi la sta aiutando in questa fase da “devo darmi un contegno e non uccidere nessuno”? Zane! Lui, inquadrato come Incubo, forza diabolica nonché propulsore di sensualità e macchina da guerra che rilascia ferormoni maschili a destra e a manca, la sta sostenendo nell’impresa. Peccato che Gwen sia innamorata di lui! Ma non è tutto, dopo avergli confessato il suo amore ed essersi presa un due di picche in piena faccia senza tanti giri di parole, le tocca avercelo tra i piedi. Zane non è così una bestia schifosa come può sembrare, ha semplicemente ricevuto degli ordini da Lord Zebulon, o Lord Diabolico, come preferite. Quest’ultimo, infatti, ha sotto il suo potere sia la piccola Succubo (con un solo sfioramento di labbra può infondere a Gwen tutto il nutrimento che le serve) sia il nostro Incubo, con cui ha una relazione da molti anni. Ebbene sì, il triangolo MMF è nato! Ecco, partiamo col dire che in assoluto non è il mio genere ma… giuro, sono stata obiettiva! L’intreccio di lingue ed esplosioni di potere tra i tre ammetto siano stati carini e chi ama questo tipo di relazioni credo gradirà. Linguaggio esplicito sì, ma senza volgarità con scene hot bollenti e ben descritte.
Vi spiego un po’ cosa non ho gradito della trama, in soldoni, Gwen viene accusata di aver ucciso una serie di persone (e fin qui, chi se ne frega, sappiamo che non si controlla) lasciandone i corpi a vista (ecco, questo è un problema). La Succubo si proclama innocente; Zane e il Lord Diabolico tenteranno alcune strade per dimostrare la sua completa estraneità ai fatti, in quanto Gwen rischia di finire all’Inferno. Questo escamotage era già stato usato nel primo libro della serie e quindi lo boccio, troviamo un altro modo per costruire il tutto. Il thriller che vi è alla base, per quanto denso di conflitti, non tiene alta quella suspense narrativa che dovrebbe appassionare il lettore, perché risulta “già sentita”. Per quanto si parli delle antiche relazioni del Lord e dell’evoluzione del rapporto con Zane, manca a mio avviso, di empatica e profonda ricerca di sentimenti dell’anima che rimangono molto in superficie. Migliore invece è la resa del legame sincero e di complicità, non solo sessuale, tra i tre. Più volte mi sono chiesta mentre leggevo, se era colpa del triangolo amoroso se non riuscivo a farmi conquistare da questo libro; ho amato i romanzi di questa autrice, infatti ho letto anche le altre due meravigliose serie, ma stavolta manca qualcosa… Non fraintendetemi, non sono pentita della lettura ma, abituata a sentire i botti di Capodanno con i suoi libri, ne sono uscita un po’ confusa.
La serie andrà avanti e ci aspetta una rottura dell’equilibrio che coinvolgerà sia il team angelico che quello infernale, per questo consiglio la lettura di questo volume, per non perdersi dettagli importanti.

Paramour of Sin by Lexi C. Foss is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett, Tim Paige, and Tor Thom. This is the third book in the Dark Provenance series and can be read as a standalone.

I absolutely love Lexi's books! Her books always pull me in and the steamy sections are always off the charts! I loved the relationship that bloomed between Gwen, Zebulon, and Zane as the story progressed. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series Princess of Bael to be released on March 18, 2022 so I can get Kay and Ezra's story.
Sarah, Tim, and Tor did an amazing job on the narration. I can't wait to listen to more of their work in the future.

Lexi C. Foss pens another fascinating novel set in her “Dark Provenance” world and it is super hot and enjoyable. Ms. Foss is a gifted author with a brilliant mind, the characters and storylines she creates are original and imaginative, her world building and character development is phenomenal. The timeline of this book is set between the first and second book, there is a power power play to change the balance of things on earth, the balance between supernatural beings in Heaven and Hell. While this is a standalone book I think having read or listened to the first two books is beneficial in understanding the depth of what is going on. You do get enough details to understand everything that is going on so you will never feel lost, it is just my opinion and I will admit it is probably biased because I loved the first two books, the audiobooks are amazing listens, just as this one is too. This book brings together three supernaturals, Gwen is a succubus, Zane an incubus and Lord Zebulon, a demon lord. Gwen has not mastered replenishing her powers and occasionally sucks the life out of the human she feeds from. She has been getting better but when two bodies are found with her mark she is accused of killing them and not disposing the body properly, leaving them to be found by humans. This is not Gwen at all, she owns up to her failures and would never hurt a living being intentionally. Lord Zebulon believes her as does Zane and they come up with a plan to prove her innocence, the problem is they only have 12 days to prove it before she is sentenced to hell for eternity. Zane and Zebulon have history together and the chemistry between them is smoking hot. Zane and Gwen have history too but he pushed her away before anything happened between them, claiming it was for her own good. But holy moly when they get together it is so hot, add in Zebulon and the heat is through the roof. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, some angst, mystery, action, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and some hot romance. Lexi C. Foss, thank you for another entertaining story!

Foss could not have chosen a better cast to bring her characters and story to life. They each had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice that suits the character’s persona perfectly, sounding believable in that role and just as I pictured them to sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers take an already great story to another level of greatness. Thank you for another outstanding listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your work.

Inizialmente non capivo il nesso di tutta la faccenda, di come si potesse incastrare un Succubo come Gwen, eppure nelle varie cospirazioni ci sono riusciti e che diavolo hanno fatto tutto nei minimi particolari, da non destare sospetti.
Gwen è l’anomalia di Succubo incontrollabile fino a che non intervengono Zebulon e Zane, i quali con i loro segreti e trame hanno fatto si che Gwen alzasse le dovute barriere entro comunque dei limiti.
Di Zebluon e Zane che vi debba dire, sembrano essere due facce della stessa medaglia, per come si legano e come loro legano a Gwen pur di starle vicino e proteggerla, eppure sono anche ben diversi, hanno una sensibilità che non hanno mostrato da subito perchè anche loro hanno avuto i loro problemi, soprattutto Zebulon.
Intrighi, tradimenti e congetture si intersecano in questo terzo libro, ma ció che mi fa rabbia è quel povero Gleason che non ha saputo vedere oltre al suo naso, peró è un tenerone nonostante faccia il burbero.
Non mo aspettavvo un determinato momento e ció che ne consegue, nonostante facesse per i miei gusti un po’ troppo il galletto, come si possa davvero alleare con una persona ancora più folle pur di intaccare la vita altrui, pur di non vederlo felice!
Non vedo l’ora di leggere il prossimo 😍

You know that saying "don't mistake my kindness for weakness" - that's Gwen!
Our sweet little "wouldn't hurt a fly" Gwen is out draining bodies and dumping them for the mortals to find 😲
Yeah, no one else believes that either - except the prince of 'he ll' and he is giving Zeb 10 days to find proof of her innocence or else...
This is a steamy MMF with all the delightfully dark twists that you have come to love and expect from this series. Paramour is
Zeb, Zane, and Gwen's story but also features some of my fave characters from the series as well as continuing the long-running storyline.
Speaking of -
Holy Hades wait until you get to some of those tempting teasers!

Zeb our rules with an iron fist dark demon lord and all-around scary badarse has never let his guard down - even with Zane, he has kept what he thought was some form of distance from him.

This has to be one of the most heartfelt (the descriptor sweet used with Zeb just doesn't feel right) romances. Watching Gwen come into her own and Zeb drop his walls - *sigh*

Just a quick review today because I need to run off to pick up children from school and they tend to get cranky if I forget about them!
It has been a while since we were in the Dark Provenance world and believe me, it has been worth the wait. This story focuses on Gwen, Zane and Lord Zebulon (loving the Z names Lexi!!) and is set between the events of Daughter of Death and Son of Chaos. While you don't have to have read these books, I would recommend it for a richer story.
This book was smoking hot but what do you expect with two sex demons and a devilish handsome Demon Lord...see what I did there! Also my husband really enjoyed this book - did he read it, no. Did he enjoy the benefits of me reading this, yes!
As always, I highly recommend this book. Lexi is one of those authors where her writing feels like coming home and this was no exception. Now to run off and pick up the crotch goblins!

4,5 STELLE - RECENSIONE DI MANU
Continuano le storie ambientate nel mondo di Dark Provenance dell’autrice Lexy C. Foss, oggi vi parlo meglio di Gwen, Zane e Lord Zebulon.
Se avete già letto i primi due romanzi, questo terzo si inserisce nel mezzo perché ci sono avvenimenti che si installano in parallelo al primo e a metà tra primo e secondo. Detto ciò, se come me non eravate in pari, potete comunque godervi la lettura e poi recuperare i primi due.
In genere se ci sono due uomini e una donna, mi ritrovo a tifare per i due maschi, per cui ero un po’ titubante di una storia del genere, ma l’autrice è stata brava ad intrecciare una relazione tra loro senza renderla ridicola o campata per aria.
Gwen è l’amica di Eve ed è una Succubo, ovvero un demone che si nutre dell’energia sessuale e che ha un piccolo problemino di gestione della “fame” che nel corso degli anni è stata aiutata a misurare la sua energia da Zane, di cui lei è innamorata.
Zane è un Incubo, un demone molto affascinante e sensuale che come i Succubi si nutre di energia sessuale. Lord Zebulon l’ha affiancato a Gwen per aiutarla a nutrirsi senza prosciugare l’energia vitale degli umani. È innamorato di Gwen, purtroppo però l’ha respinta per ordini superiori, poiché da anni è comunque un amante di Lord Zebulon.
Quest’ultimo è un Lord Diabolico, ovvero la figura demoniaca più importante sulla Terra. Da anni intrattiene una relazione con Zane di cui si fida ciecamente nonostante il passato l’abbia visto tradito dalla donna che aveva scelto per la vita. Forte e leale, ha un debole anche per Gwen ma per anni si è limitato a qualche bacio per placare la sua “fame” e ha imposto a Zane di fare lo stesso.
Quando Gwen diventa l’unica indiziata di una serie di omicidi ai danni degli umani e rischia di finire all’Inferno nelle mani dell’Arcidiavolo Ashmedai, Zane, Lord Zebulon, Eve, il fidanzato Xai e Gleason si attivano per trovare il vero colpevole.
È chiaro che qualcuno sta tramando alle spalle per minare l’ordine, forse qualcuno affamato di potere che vuole solo confondere le acque. Mentre le cose si fanno complesse e tutti cercano la verità, tra Gwen, Zane e Zebulon esplode una passione a lungo sopita.
Mi era sempre piaciuto il suo naturale bouquet, ne avevo sognato per molte notti, ma non l’avevo mai sperimentato così… avvolto da un’eccitazione bollente e deliziosa. Perché Zane trasudava sensualità da ogni poro, proprio come qualsiasi Incubo. Era così perfetto e magnifico, così giusto.
Solo che… lo era davvero? Lui mi voleva nello stesso modo in cui io volevo lui?
I protagonisti principali mi sono piaciuti tutti e tre, ognuno con i pregi e difetti del caso, in fondo sono tre creature demoniache, il contesto è molto ben caratterizzato così come i singoli personaggi.
Gwen l’ho trovata così empatica con il genere umano che rimane sconvolta dagli avvenimenti, anche se è una donna che sa quello che vuole, è cresciuta e i suoi sentimenti per i due uomini che la bramano non sono un fuoco di paglia.
Zane è un soggetto che ho ammirato, vuole Gwen da anni eppure non si è mai arrischiato, anzi ha fatto in modo che la giovane si allontanasse dai sentimenti profondi che aveva o almeno quella era l’intenzione.
Molto bello il rapporto con Zebulon, un demone superiore con grossi problemi di fiducia che da decenni ha una relazione quasi esclusiva con Zane, rapporto complesso a cui nessuno dei due dà il giusto nome fino all’aggiunta di Gwen.
L’autrice ci da modo di abituarci alle dinamiche che legano i tre personaggi senza affrettare i tempi, tenendo anche conto del tipo di creature che sono e che per definizione hanno un appetito sessuale molto elevato.
Se non conoscete questa serie io ci farei un pensierino, non è troppo oscura, la mitologia è ben sviluppata, le relazioni interpersonali e i vari personaggi secondari, come anche le svariate scene tra le lenzuola, sono ben inserite.
Se invece siete in pari, vi suggerisco di leggerlo, non ve ne pentirete, io aspetto il prossimo, si preannuncia già interessante.

Emisi un sospiro profondo, mentre il cuore mi batteva all’impazzata nel petto. Non dovrebbe essere così, pensai. Non dovrebbe sembrarmi… tanto… giusto. Ma lo era. Ogni istante. Ogni carezza. Ogni bacio. Ogni singolo dettaglio… erano assolutamente perfetti. Un’esperienza che non avrei mai dimenticato. Che avevo intenzione di ripetere. Ancora. E ancora.
Guinevere o Gwen è una succubo, si nutre della passione suscitata negli esseri umani e non. Solo che ha qualche problema di autocontrollo… finisce letteralmente per amarli a morte. Questo potrebbe essere un problema, visto che poi deve anche smaltire il cadavere del poveretto in modo che le autorità umane non abbiano di che sospettare delle sue attività. Lord Zebulon, il lord Diabolico che regna sul territorio la affida a Zane, un incubo, praticamente la sua versione maschile dotata di autocontrollo affinché le insegni a nutrirsi con moderazione.
Se avessi fallito, non ci sarebbe stata alcuna gratitudine. Ma un biglietto di sola andata per l’Inferno. Ora che conosceva la mia debolezza, mi avrebbe fatta tenere d’occhio. Qualsiasi stupidaggine sarebbe stata documentata. O sopravvivevo, oppure no. Niente più Eve ad aiutarmi a nascondermi dal mio destino. Era tempo che prendessi le redini e conducessi io. O tanto peggio per me.
Le cose si complicano quando cominciano ad apparire cadaveri in giro per la città, e tutti recano il marchio di Gwen anche se lei non è responsabile delle loro morti. Zebulon e Zane avranno dodici giorni per scagionarla, mentre lei sa che dovrà tenersi alla larga da entrambi in quanto il primo le provoca il desiderio di inginocchiarsi e compiacerlo ogni volta che lo vede, mentre il secondo le ha recentemente rifilato un due di picche da cui ancora non si è ripresa. C’è un problema però entrambi i demoni sono definitivamente e irrimediabilmente attratti da lei.
Era un desiderio pericoloso, che faceva appello al mio demone interiore, incitandomi a scorticarla viva con l’intensità della mia forza. Zane era abituato a quel lato di me. Lo accoglieva. Lo accettava. Lo coltivava. Ma Guinevere, la dolce e gentile Guinevere… non ero certo che potesse gestirlo. Il mio povero agnellino sarebbe stato mangiato vivo dal mio leone interiore.
Lexi C. Foss ci riporta ancora una volta nel mondo della Dark Provenance con questo libro che tratta le vicende del trio formato da Gwen, Zane e Zebulon. Sia la prima che l’ultimo erano comparsi già come personaggi secondari nei libri precedenti. Lei è amica e ex coinquilina di Eve e il Lord è il padre di quella Kalida che tanto ha fatto penare Eve e Xai nei libri precedenti.
Una storia piena di peccato, lussuria, carnalità, a cui, come nei libri precedenti si intreccia anche la parte mistery. Di questa serie, come anche delle altre serie scritte da questa autrice. Amo molto il concept, la costruzione di un mondo popolato da esseri fantastici e mitologici che si calano perfettamente in un contesto moderno risultando non solo assolutamente credibili, ma anche indiscutibilmente affascinanti.
Ammiro veramente la fantasia smisurata con cui questa autrice crea per noi mondi e intrecci davvero appassionanti in uno stile assolutamente preciso dove nulla è lasciato al caso e ogni minimo dettaglio viene curato, traduzione compresa. Attendo con impazienza i prossimi volumi della saga.

What a rush!
Lexi has done it again - coming back to one of her most creative and dark universes to bring us the next chapter: the story of an incubus, a succubus, and a demonic lord.
Like all of Lexi’s novels this is not light on the heat. There’s a mix of MM, MF and MMF. Unlike the first books in this series, this is a triad book that is heavy on sin, pleasures, and endearingly: romance. (Just a heads up for anyone reading: this is an MMF not an MFM. The two Ms definitely hook up during play with our F and separately, unlike MFM where the two Ms only play with the F not each other. If you are looking for a taste of MFM, try Viciously Bitten, a novels of Lexi’s available on her website).
Too often with MMFs the element of romance and love is lost. This is not that way. Without giving away spoilers, there is an obvious love here that is so masterfully woven into this spicy novel that you can’t help but root for all of them.
And like all of Lexi’s novels, the heroine is really a crux of the story that is just so empowering. If you read the first two books (not necessary, but I HIGHLY recommend), you know that our heroine has a SLIGHT feeding issue (if you can call accidentally sucking the life out of someone while bringing them extreme sexual gratification an issue) - and it’s up to our incubus to help her. Enter the demonic lord that may need to punish her who is having family problems or his own and you have an explosively dynamic triad that is as beautiful as they are down right naughty.
This book definitely ranks up with some of the best of Lexi’s line. If you loved Regally Bitten from the Blood Alliance series, you will love this. Except - being honest, this is even better. Lexi has taken the experience she’s gained from writing other MMF and RH novels to create something truly unique, hot and fun.
Definitely a big 5 out of 5 here!

I misteri non mancano ma soprattutto i nostri protagonisti faranno i conti con i loro sentimenti, quelli che si sforzano di ignorare da decenni, reprimendoli.
Lord Zebulon vuole Gwen, lei è innamorata di Zane e attratta dal Lord.
Zane ha ricevuto l’ordine di starle lontano e comportarsi solo da mentore ignorando i propri sentimenti.
Il fatto che Gwen sia in pericolo mette però tutto sotto una nuova luce: i due uomini non vogliono perderla e, dal momento che sono già amanti, le offrono loro stessi. Da coppia diventano un trio perfettamente equilibrato.
La giovane Gwen dimostrerà di essere in grado di gestire non solo la situazione ma anche due uomini dominanti. E quei due demoni pieni di testosterone saranno in grado di amare con il cuore creando un unico nucleo…
Molte sono le pagine dedicate alle loro performance sessuali ma da dei demoni del sesso cosa possiamo aspettarci?
Il libro scorre velocissimo e lascia uno scenario aperto per continuare il viaggio tra i regni alla scoperta di chi sta minando un equilibrio millenario.

One of the things that drew me to apply for this ALC is the cover. This cover is amazing and so sexy. I was ecstatic to find the audiobook matched the cover! My ears were burning from the hotness. A demon Lord, an Incubus, and a Succubus forming a ménage. **fan self** I love Guinevere’s (Gwen) character. She sexy, dominate, and strong. She’s a firecracker. I love how alpha the demonic Lord Zebulon is but then turns into a completely softy when it comes to Zane and Gwen. Zane and Gwen would have an incredible relationship just the two of them, but Zebulon adds to it, intensifying it and making it better. Like he’s a missing piece of a puzzle. The bad guys don’t stand a chance against these 3! Paramour of Sin was fast paced with plenty of action. Between that and all the paranormal intrigue, it was hard to stop listening to this one. I love the paranormal world that Lexi Foss has created here. She’s so imaginative, giving us a unique storyline with great world building and character development. Thank you to Pink Flamingo Productions for gifting me this awesome audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I love Lexi C. Foss!
I have yet to read a book by LCF that I haven’t absolutely loved! This is the third book in the Dark Providence series and although it says it can be read as a standalone, I do think that there is an over arching story about the balance between Heaven and Hell that starts in book one and continues, so I think this series should be read in order. Plus books one and two were about Eve and Xai, so they are a must read!
While I really liked this book, I wasn’t a huge fan of the MMF, although I thought LCF did an amazing job of writing it, MMF is just not my thing. I was initially going to skip this book entirely because I knew it was MMF, but I just love this series so much that I had to read it. There were A LOT of MM sex scenes, possibly even more than MF scenes. I read a few months ago on this author’s Facebook page that this book was going to just be Lord Zebulon and Gwen and I personally think it would have been better that way, but then she changed her mind and wrote in Zane. While their triad worked, I would have liked this much more if it was just Zeb and Gwen.
Aside from that, this book was just amazing! I love the world building, the side characters, and the overall plot. LCF has a way of writing stories that are completely engrossing. I literally did not want to put this down. I was so sad when the book ended. I wish the next book was about Ash. I CANNOT wait for his book!

I received this audiobook at my request via promo code from The Flock and this is my honest voluntary review.
Not only is this a MFM story, its also got triple narration which was a real treat. Sarah Puckett, Time Paige and Tor Thom do a fantastic job here of bringing this paranormal mystery romance to life.
Gwen is a young succubus with control issues, she's also being framed by some mystical malevolent force who keeps oozing her essence at the sites of human slayings. Lord Zebulon, a hot demonic lord is determined to get to the bottom of just who is framing her. Especially when its declared she only has 10 days to prove its not her whose been slaughtering innocents. Zane, an incubus demon whose always wanted Gwen but had to push her away due to their shared nature requiring them to feed on their lovers, is determined to help. While these three get thrown together, Zane and Zebulon have history together and the chemistry between Zane and Gwen cannot be denied. There are a bunch of MFM MM and MF scenes in this story, which is expertly woven and while the action does take place between Daughter of Death and Son's of Chaos stories, it can be enjoyed as a standalone.
I'm not usually into paranormal romance but the investigation and whodunit mystery in this audiobook was well crafted.

No one can make an entire evening (or even a day, in some cases) disappear on me like Lexi C. Foss.
This read continued in this world’s addictive fashion, but also intrigued me because it was like a dystopian cozy mystery almost, wrapped up in a brewing war with power struggles afoot and still manages to pack a multi-faceted, “we shouldn’t” romance and some ‘coming of age’ to boot.
So many elements and genres expertly woven into one unputdownable read and the next thing I knew … well, my evening was gone and I was off dying for the next book in this world.
Finally, learning more about Zebulon and Gwen, which is exactly what I hoped for while binging the previous 3 books.

Falsely accused.

I love Lexi's style of writing and she doesn't disappoint in this story at all, it was just what i needed and didn't even know. We have met both Gwen the succubus in previous books as she is the best friend of Eve plus Lord Zebulon the demonic lord.
This story is about Gwen, Zebulon and the sexy as sin and kinky incubus Zane, they are a match made in heaven but they have no clue how that is all going to come together as Gwen only has 10 days to prove her innocents that she has not been killing humans when she has been feeding from them through sex.
This book will take you on a ride along with these three highly sexual demons to prove Gwen's innocents that will leave you panting with the sexual tension and the smoking hot sex that is going to melt your panties off. You won't know who to trust and who has an agender for stirring trouble. This will keep you guessing all the way through what is going to happen next. Totally loved this.

I was dying to read this book after Son of Chaos ended and the anticipation for Gwen’s story was so intense because I absolutely ADORE this series! There was a hefty wait between books but I can honestly tell you that it was well worth the wait and I would absolutely do it all over again! It was that good.
Crazy how the demons are always the ones that do it for me and not the angels. Don’t get me wrong, i would totally not turn Xai down and I actually think he is my favourite character from every series this author has written (excluding Ezekiel & Novak...actually, let’s just make a Ezekiel, Novak & Xai sandwich and call it a day!)
I have to admit though that after this I am definitely on the Zeb, Gwen & Zane train, first stop...HOTSVILLE!

So rumor has it this stand alone installment of The Dark Provenance Series was deemed erotica... Well folks this book definitely has some serious steam factor!! Of course when you throw an Incubus, a Succubus, and a demonic Lord together things are bound to get a little kinky!!
All that being said the book is full of mystery, intrigue, and an amazing plot twist I didn’t see coming. If you like a hot n’ sexy read AND want a book with substance AND a great plot AND has amazing writing then read this book!!

Audiobook Review:
What a steamy, well crafted paranormal romance from Lexi C. Foss. I like a good Succubus/Incubus story and this one just so happened to feature both. Plus, there was a demon lord that finishes and unites this threesome. This was MMF at it’s finest in my opinion. I loved how they each had their own connection with each other. And when they were all together, they practically set my headphones on fire.
The narrators were amazing too. I can never be disappointed with Tor Thom’s performance. He had that deep growly voice that I thought suited Zebulon. And Tim Paige and Sarah Puckett both rocked it as Zane and Gwen. Their performance as a whole was fantastic, and I will definitely want more of all three narrators in future.

An enjoyable continuation of this series. Lexi is an expert at bringing an almost human element to these supernatural stories, with well developed characters and interesting plot lines. In this episode we are mainly spending time with Gwen, Zane and the powerful and sexy Lord Zebulon. Someone is framing Gwen for killing humans and leaving them for human authorities to find and given her limited control of her powers things are not looking good. There are some hot sexy times between our 3 MCs and the plot has many twists and turns, plus some unexpected appearances.
I look forward to the next book in the series.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, taking us into the world of the demonic lord. Seeing what was happening between Zeb, Zane and Gwen was tantalising.
More insight into what’s coming into play in this series. Will be interesting to see what becomes of the power shift and who’s pulling the strings.

The best thing about a Lexi Foss book, besides the smexy hot scenes, is that she gives good storyline that pulls you in and before you're ready you're done. I wasn't ready to be done... I totally re-read it already and it just get better. I mean come on... Lord Zebulon gets some lovin! That should be enough said.
This is book 3 in the Dark Provenance series and can be read as a standalone, but why would you do that. Go read books 1&2 and you'll appreciate Zane, Zeb and Gwen SO much more.

OMG!! I have been waiting for this book!! (Especially if u get to see the authors posts about thes....men lol) but wow what can I say?? I absolutely LOVED Gwen, Zeb & Zane!! A Incubus, Succubus and a Demon Lord...well let's just say...things get VERY...steamy!! The author has a way to make her characters come alive to the readers & I feel like I can picture them so clearly!! This book will leave you laughing, wanting to roll your eyes at some of the behaviors and snark & you will definitely fall in love with these guys & Gwen!! Cannot wait for the next book!!!

This was the third installment of The Dark Provenance Series, another gem by Lexi C Foss. This was one smoking hot book starring Lord Zebulon, succubus Gwen, and incubus Zane with an exciting plot that has lots of twists and turns.
I feel like this book should have been the second in the series in order to follow along the timeline but I figured it out early in the story so I was ok with that.
The narrators did a great job with this audio and really brought the characters to life for me. I look forward to see where Lexi will take us with this ongoing saga.

Parto con l'ammettere che mi crea problemi leggere una saga in cui i protagonisti cambiano. Detto questo comunque lo trovo sotto i 2 precedenti. È una ripetizione di quella che è la storia di eve e xai, semplicemente aggiungendoci un secondo amante. C'è questo continuo far finta di dare del "potere" alla donna che dura il tempo di uno sguardo di uno degli altri due, purtroppo non l'ho trovato originale in nulla rispetto agli altri. L'unica cosa che ho apprezzato è stata la relazione con la storia principale, anche se in minuscola parte.

Another 5 star from Lexi! I have loved Gwen since I first read about her. She may be a succubus but she's also one with humanity still intact. Zane and Zeb are the perfect men for her. She's been in love with Zane for a while but then Lord Zebulon makes an entrance and Gwen develops some feelings for him as well all while trying to figure out who the heck is framing her for murder. We see Xai and Eve pop in and out too! Love this wonderful world you have created! 😍❤

Intriguing storyline amongst the overall series storyline, which makes these books more. This series is not my favorite, though it is still worth reading. Gwen’s character is exactly as she is described and I think she should have made Zane and Zeb grovel for much longer, but her character just didn’t have it in her. The fact that the guys were in a relationship for 100 years prior to Gwen is not my favorite thing either. Told from each POV.

While reading the first two books of this series, I’ve been waiting for Gwen’s book (not so patiently I might add, which is the norm for me) but I’m so glad it’s here and every second of reading was worth the wait! In my opinion, this book complements the series without taking away from the other two books. There are times that situations intersect from them and you’re like ahhhh, that makes so much sense now. Ms Foss has done an amazing job building this world for us.
