Sleeping Train

Rate this book
Sleeping Train is a book of images by Polish photographer Pawel Jaszczuk documenting Tokyo’s subways and its sleeping inhabitants. On every page we see faces that have fallen through the trap door of sleep; Pawel’s images invite us to follow them into the dreamworld. At a time, when the experience of time itself has become distorted, and isolation and loneliness underlie our constant contact on social media, these images capture the sense we have of living in a strange dream.
