Cat has made some life-changing, albeit rash, decisions. Everyone thinks her life is perfect, but she’s packed everything she owns into her crappy car, fled the state and ghosted her boyfriend of seven years. Things aren’t quite going the way she always thought they would, but it’s nothing some Christmas carols and a fresh start can’t fix, right?
Big Timber Acres, a horse ranch in Montana, is where she’ll be for the next year. The perfect setting for her to find herself and move on. There’s just one problem and his name is Oliver, an Australian cowboy, who’s the lead ranch hand. It’s an instant clash of waring personalities, sexual tension and snarky banter.
When the ranch gets some big news, the duo is thrust into even more emotional turmoil. Will they be able to put their feelings for each other aside and work together for the sake of the ranch?

Yes, yes, yes! So freaking cute! This book about a girl named Cat looking for a fresh start so she moves to a ranch in Montana and meets Oliver who is a grumpy Australian cowboy who is basically a Liam Hemsworths doppelganger! I mean, need I say more? This book has everything I wanted in a Christmas romcom. Enemies to lovers, sassy smart leads, really good pacing, fun supporting cast and Christmas mountain vibes! The chemistry between the two MCs was really electric, I totally loved them. There were really fun supporting characters too and I kind of wish this was a series so we could see what happens to them! 🎄💙☃️
Such a fun Christmas romance! I love a holiday romance that takes place at a farm and this one had the perfect setting. I was so into the book when it started and the hero and heroine started off on the wrong foot. The heroine is running from a relationship and wants to start over at the farm. I really enjoyed the bickering between the hero and heroine and them workin on the farm. I do think the second half got a little rushed and wasn't as good as the first half, but I still had a good time! I definitely think this was a unique Christmas romance with an Australian cowboy! The setting was great and the side characters were really fun. I'd say this is worth picking up this holiday season!
Many thanks to the girls that recommended this fun festive quickie! 🥰 I was sold at the Liam Hemsworth comparison. This is just an appreciation review.
Quotes I completed the “small town girl” bingo card.
Perhaps the earth heard your singing and was doing the rest of us a favor.
…when did I start getting giddy about appliances?
…like the ultimate best friend, wet dream package.
…this feeling, holding her like this, is my new drug, and I’m fucking addicted.
Shut up. Old people don’t have one night stands.
She’s like this incredibly sexy puzzle that I keep finding pieces to. And every damn piece just makes me fall more and more…
…the girl that you wait your whole life to meet and when you do, everyone tells you not to screw it up.
He used to say, love is like the wind. You can’t always see it coming, but you know it’s there when you feel it.
This book gives enemies to lovers, touch her and you 💀, grumpy sunshine, he falls first, and soooo much more.
Picture this: Cat runs away from her life and toxic boyfriend. Cat moves to a ranch. Cat meets Olly. Cat declares Olly an asshole. Olly is kinda an asshole. Cat gives second hand embarrassment to every reader. Cat may kinda maybe like Olly. Nah, cat definitely likes Olly. Holy F*ck, who doesn’t like Olly?
This. Book. Oh my gawddd😫😂😭. I laughed. Sweeeeattteddd🥵. And screamed. This is not your typical Hallmark holiday book. This is soooo spicy, beyond funny, and so heartwarming.
I was fortunate enough to beta read this book- but in the honor of total transparency i wouldn’t be leaving a review if i didn’t absolutely love it!!!!!! You 10000% need to be putting this book on your holiday TBR! You can thank me later!
This book was rough…there was something about the writing style that I just didn’t like, some of the dialogue just seemed off…and I really didn’t like Cat…it was one of those books where the girl walks in and basically gets everything handed to her. Like the part about Michelle (who had been working there for years) getting Cat’s old job cause Cat moved up in the company with 0 qualifications just didn’t sit right to me…and their relationship toward the beginning seemed super rushed all the way until the epilogue when they finally slowed down…just not for me

This book is an easy five stars. I LOVE THIS BOOK! I'm so grateful to have received an ARC (my very first one)! I'm all about the enemies-to-lovers type of setting and this was perfect. Olly and Cat were my favorite and I loved their banter at the beginning. What I loved most was when Cat made the first move when she danced with Olly. I love that the "hatred" towards each other didn't really take up much time in the book and that they quickly started developing a relationship. It also felt like it happened in a real and authentic way which I really loved. I'm from SLC, UT and I currently live in ID so I really felt connected to the story in a fun way! I'm also really glad there wasn't a lot of focus on Todd and that there weren't more physical interruptions than there were in the book. I felt like his intrusions were the perfect amount for the story and that there was a HAE. The only thing I didn't really care for is the 6 months later part at the end of the book and how Cat had denied Olly's proposal... that made me really sad and I just didn't like that her character kept pushing Olly off because it hadn't been very long since the time they met to the time he proposed. It's a very real thing for people to meet, fall in love, date, and get engaged in a short amount of time, and to see her still deny him that almost 2 years later was kind of a letdown but overall I LOVE THIS BOOK and I will definitely be sharing it with my friends!!

This was soooo cute!!! I was in the mood for a romance pallet cleanser and this was the perfect book for that! If you love Hallmark holiday movies you need to add this to your list. This book is a dual POV, spicy, sweet, and funny cowboy romance.
I devoured this! Read it in one day. Enemies to lovers, small town romance, grumpy sunshine… literally all of my favorite tropes in one. Cat and Oliver are absolute perfection.
I loved this story from start to finish. The perfect fall/ winter/ Christmas read!
What I wanted when I saw this cover is a ranch romance and Michelle delivered!! This is the perfect holiday romance not only for Christmas but for all the holidays.
Cat is taking a job at a ranch in Montana. She has never worked at a ranch but she needs an escape. The only problem is that she has already started off on the wrong foot with the lead ranch hand from Australia Oliver.
I loved how Michelle added in some BookTok Easter eggs that all we know and love. We have the BookTok Baddies, an enemies to lovers mention.
Her writing just drew me in. I wanted to know why Cat took this job. I wanted to see Oliver’s and her relationship build. I wanted to see her friendships build. Michelle delivered all of that! I will be reading another book by her definitely if I get a Lydia and Blake book maybe 🙃
❄️ Small Town Romance ❄️ Found Family ❄️ Enemies to Lovers
Enemies to lovers! He falls first! A little bit of touch her and you 🔪 Forced proximity! And Liam Hemsworth’s evil twin?! SIGN. ME. UP.
This book felt like a Hallmark movie and was exactly what I was looking for this holiday season.
Cat is looking for something more out of life and ends up taking a job on a ranch on Montana! There she meets this grumpy Australian man, Olly, who she is forced to be around constantly. You can guess where that’s going to go!
I loved it! It is hilarious. The tension and banter is there. There is a dash of spice! I felt like this was so much more than just a holiday romance. I audibly gasped at the plot twist. It was so well executed. Swooon at the whole story!
And seriously?! Olly is perfection. I DARE you not to fall in love with him.
This book…chef’s kiss! For real though, this is my first holiday rom com and it was literally all I could ask for and then some. I don’t think I could have picked a better book to start my holiday season with. I was wanting that Hallmark movie feel and oh did Michelle deliver.
Cat was super relatable and I absolutely fell in love with the characters! I also don’t think I’ve laughed quite this hard at a book in general in a long time 😂
If you are looking for a Hallmark Christmas-y vibe with enemies to lovers/grumpy sunshine tropes this book is for you.
I can’t thank Michelle Garyfalakis enough for the opportunity to read and review an advanced copy of Sleigh You’ll stay. ❤️
First of all thank you so much @michellegaryfalakis for letting me read this early!!
First of all I devoured this book in 24 hours. It’s my first christmas read of the season. This book really embodies christmas hallmark movies. If you’re a sucker for them you’ll love this book! (With a little added spice 🤭)

Overall ratings :⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️ none the less this book was adorable and had me feeling christmasy early ❄️
Very cute Christmas read with that Hallmark movie feel. I was under the impression would be more spicy, but it was still great. The only thing that I didn’t like was that one random POV from a different character well into the book. It seemed to deter from the main story, and I felt like we really could’ve gone without it. There was enough insight from the other characters already that it didn’t really add anything we didn’t already know.
I loved this spicy, smutty Hallmark movie-esque book! This book was enemies to lovers, small town, touch her and you dye, grumpy sunshine, he falls first romance.
This book was hot, funny, spicy and so much more. I absolutely loved this holiday romance and I loved these two more. These two were hilarious, the tension, the banter and the spice! Also the plot twist had me gasping. I devoured this book in one day and loved every minute of it.
Edit: just read the "afterword" where it says "this book was conceptualized and released within six weeks" and honestly that makes so much sense.
//
No. This had so much potential, but alas it did not live up to said potential. This was ALL tell and no show. Not to mention the timeline was scrambled on more than one occassion, first it's "the week flew by" followed by something that happened "yesterday" when it should be a week ago.
I’m a horse girl, so when I saw that Cat was going to a horse ranch in Montana (on my bucket list to ride a horse there on a trailride) I was already sold. I also have a lot in common with Cat like a Vampire Diaries obsession and liking an Australian man (Daniel Ricciardo for me duh) so I really liked her character. I actually really liked all of the characters and that doesn’t happen very often. This book would be a great TV show/movie, it was giving Virgin River vibes and I adore that show. 10/10 recommend.
Started off decent but got cringier and cringier lol. The afterword says that this book was written and conceptualized in 6 weeks and that is…very obvious😬
Sleigh You’ll Stay is a fun holiday read! Main character Catherine leaves her hometown behind for a job at a ranch in Montana. Soon after she arrives she meets the Australian cowboy she told off on the highway. It’s hate at first sight for her and Oliver.
Their banter is fun and Catherine comes up with some colorful insults and angry thoughts. A favorite being along the lines of “I want to take his face to cheese grater.” 😂 But soon their attraction and close quarters get the best them! I also like the found family the ranch employees establish and the side characters were entertaining.
A few times the main characters said “we did this or that” in relation to activities or time spent together and I wished we had experienced that in real time. I liked the MC’s, but I think the added depth of seeing more couple moments would have made this a 4-star read for me (I rated it 3.75)
I do recommend Sleigh You’ll Stay and it is available on Kindle Unlimited!
Thank you to the the author for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
Just finished reading an ARC of Sleigh You’ll Stay by Michelle Garyfalakis and I loved it! It was such a cozy Christmas romance to get into the romantic Christmas spirit! Olly and Cat made quite the pair! I loved how funny/quirky Cat was and how her attitude reminded me of myself! Read this in two days… had to keep taking breaks because there is Flu in my home right now but every spare second I had I was picking this back up to read it!
Looking for a holiday rom-com to warm you up this season? Look no further!
Cat leaves her hometown of Pocatello, Idaho for a ranch in Montana. She doesn't tell anyone where she is really going. Heck, her parents think she is heading to a teaching exchange program in Texas. Only her brother Matty knows where she really is.
Big Timber Acres is the ranch that Cat will be spending the next year at. She is more than ready to find herself and move on from Pocatello. Upon arriving, Cat finds out that she actually won't be working in the kitchen, but rather be the Head of Housekeeping--crap on a cracker!--she is the worst at keeping things clean and picked up. Not only is she finding a change of job title, but Cat also meets her newest enemy, Oliver Tully, a hunky Australian cowboy, who she unknowingly yelled at on the road on the way to the ranch.
Between the snide banter, obvious sexual tension, and personalities these two are an instant clash with one another. I will say that the combo of these three things really kept the story moving and kept you engaged the entire time!
After just a few weeks at the ranch, Henry McDaniels, the owner, reveals some big news. News that could ultimately change everyone's future plans at the ranch--especially Oliver, who may lose his work visa. Cat is realizing who she really is and what she really wants in life, but will all be taken away just like that?
This book is for sure a page turner! I had such a hard time putting my ARC down that-as you can see-I read it in two days! I may or may not be hoping for a sequel to this one.....;-)
I want to start this review off by saying thank you so much @michellegaryfalakis for sending me an ARC of this amazing book!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trying to get away from her old life, Cat ends up taking a job at Big Timber Acres, there she meets Oliver, an Australian cowboy who Cat describes as Liam Hemsworth’s evil twin (um yes please🥵). Cat and Oliver’s relationship starts off rocky, I mean you’d assume so when the first time they interact with each other there’s middle fingers and curse words being thrown around. But the relationship they have will have you smiling, laughing, crying and everything in between.
Whenever a book has enemies to lovers AND he falls first, it’s a MUST read, and this one did not disappoint. I enjoyed everything about it! The tension and banter between the two was perfectly done and it had the perfect amount of spice!
This book releases November 24th, 2022 so if you’re looking for a good holiday romcom this is the book for you!
This was such a cute read!!! This gives very much cheesy (in an adorable way) Hallmark holiday rom com and it was exactly what I needed right now!
Lots of funny banter between characters, very atmospheric setting; I totally felt like I was on the ranch in Montana! And I LOVED that the third act conflict was actually believable and didn’t leave me thinking “are two grown adults really fighting about THIS right now?!”, which I thoroughly appreciated. I was also happy that the epilogue wasn’t just one paragraph that left the reader hanging, we actually got a glimpse into what happened next!! Yay💕
Overall, this was a light, airy, fun read! Can’t wait to read more from #michellegaryfalakisauthor ‼️
•grumpy x sunshine (one of my faves) •enemies to lovers •spicy Hallmark vibes •forced proximity
So thankful to Michelle Garyfalakis for sending me an ARC of this book🌨 This had such a cute storyline🥰 Cat is adorable, hilarious and witty. Olly is the sweetest little grump. And all of the side characters are so cute, you just fall in love with them so easily! Not your typical Hallmark story - the 🌶 was there and it had more twists than I expected which held my interest even more.
4⭐️ Grab this one when it comes out on November 24th!
