Excellent! Outstanding collection of well-researched papers compiled into chapters. Each topic written by renown subject matter experts provides solid content about the life, research, and impact of Darwin’s life. The Chapter on The New Origin of the Species was especially helpful that persuasively argues that modern science, in particular genetics, has thoroughly eroded the foundation of Darwin’s conclusions about The Origin of the Species.

A quick exposure to the problems of evolutionary theory and the person of Charles Darwin. At 96 pages, it is considered a pocket guide to the material which explains the brevity it takes at places. Overall, a very worthwhile read (especially if you want a brief account without the details) that elicits the desire for more reading on the subject. Especially useful to layman--such as me--beginning reading in this field.
