What happens when the voices in your head are real?
Institutionalized for a murder she didn't commit, Penny is haunted by the voices that plague her mind. They tell her to do horrible things. On her eighteenth birthday, she learns those voices are angels and demons, and they want her to set them free. Only she has the power to do so.
It isn't until the Master starts talking to her that she realizes she's in terrible danger. Will she fall under the spell of his seduction and set him free? Will she become his queen?
L. D. Nash was born early one stormy November morning. A warrior at heart, she's only killed people on paper and dreams of becoming a ninja; an idea her husband will tell you is impossible considering her inhuman clumsiness. She began her writing career at the age of 14 and hasn't stopped since.
Never tell her that she can't do something, because she will do it twice and take pictures. She lives in the piney woods of a certain southern state with her husband, two rowdy grandsons, and entirely too many dogs.
Once a month she turns furry and chases her tail, but otherwise, she can be found firmly rooted on her sofa, watching Supernatural, drinking Cherry Dr. Pepper, and living vicariously through her many female heroines.
She's also sort of obsessed with all things supernatural/paranormal, western, Angels, scottish, and pirates.
Well written dark fantasy horror story. A young woman with conflicting voices in her head. The struggle of good versus evil in the confines of a mental hospital
“Voices is a fast paced, intriguing, captivating novella. Well worth reading if you enjoy paranormal romance with a twist of darkness.“ - Brandi Reads -

I enjoyed the main character and learning more about her mental illness and finding out why she hears “voices”. I was intrigued by her mental state and captivated by the supporting characters, their personalities and of course the voices.

L. D. Nash’s writing style hooks the reader in from the first chapter and leaves you wanting more when you get to the last page. I was left wondering if we will see these characters again, and hoping there might possibly be a new series.
The story is fast paced, with great character development and supporting characters. I highly recommend “Voices”.
𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕘𝕘𝕖𝕣 𝕎𝕒𝕣𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘: While brilliantly written, this book is not for the faint of heart! Voices covers difficult topics including trauma, Mental Health, hallucinations, hearing voices, darkness, good vs. evil, and angels vs. demons which may be difficult for some readers to read.
Wow! This book kept me completely engaged. I could not stop reading. If you enjoy a great psychological horror Voices is the book for you. Very well written it keeps you guessing from the first page to the last. Congratulations to L.D. Nash. You nailed it! I highly recommend.
