I loved getting back into the Wolves of Full Moon Bay to read Lynette’s story. I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Lynette just wants to enjoy her night at the club when she meets Clayton, a human. He smells amazing and seems to like her too, until he drugs and abducts her. Now she is locked in a cage with two giant, and sexy, shifter fighters. Merit and Milo have been in captivity for over 20 years now, and are subpack together. They care for each other and aren’t sure what this new female wolf means for them, because even though she smells delicious and they want to protect her, she isn’t part of their subpack. Or is she?
Clayton doesn’t understand his pull to Lynette, or why he’s being punished by the governor. But, he is now assigned to Lynette as her handler, and he’s getting to close too her. He just has to keep his head straight so he can get the money and run. What if he doesn’t want to run from her though? Their connection is going to get him in trouble, he just knows it.
Everyone has secrets, and regrets, but in the end can you be redeemed from all the wrongs you’ve created?
This book is darker than the rest of the series, and I loved it all the more for it. We go deep into the culture of shifter captivity, torture and fight rings. All the connections that are made from book 1 to now are fabulous. We wrap up story lines and have a HEA in the end. This is a MMFM, spicy RH shifter PNR.
I can’t wait for the next book!
