Infinity Lens – the eye of the universe.

Having escaped Cornerstone and the catastrophic outcome of the Galos detonation, Captain William Lanson finds himself on a new mission. Coordinates extracted from the Galos have set him and his crew on a journey to a distant place, far beyond the fringes of Human Confederation territory.

When he arrives at his destination, Lanson hopes to unearth long-lost technology which might help turn the tide of war against the Sagh’eld aliens.

What he finds is far beyond his wildest expectations. An ancient device called the Infinity Lens has lain dormant for aeons. Its activation will have a profound effect, felt by trillions - for whoever controls the Lens controls every other species within its far-reaching gaze.

Unfortunately for Lanson, he’s not the only one interested in this technology, and he’ll have to fight tooth and nail to claim it for the Human Confederation. His warship - the stolen Sagh’eld destroyer New Beginning - has been altered by the Galos in ways that Lanson doesn’t yet fully understand. Perhaps those changes will be enough to see him through this toughest of missions.

If not, humanity is on a one-way road to extinction.

Infinity Lens is the second book in the Singularities series and follows directly after events in Cornerstone. Within its pages a reader will find space and ground warfare, good guys and bad aliens, plus some additional mysterious and deadly tech.

Anthony James spent his youth reading what might now be called classic sci-fi and fantasy books. These days, he spends time in his study with the door locked against rampant and ferocious toddlers, writing books of his own.

That's the third person stuff out of the way.

For anyone who's read any of my books, you'll know that I write action science fiction that pulls no punches and which doesn't cram the good stuff into the last couple of chapters. The action starts early and it doesn't let up. I also take care to mix in plenty of humanity. The characters I write are all distinctly believable, often facing uncaring enemies and overwhelming odds. When they win, it's because they did their best.

Go on. Punch an alien today. Better yet, check out my series of books, each one filled with action, technology, warfare, aliens and against-the-odds survival. Lots of kick-back-and-enjoy weekend or evening reading.

Infinity and beyond.

Well that was disappointing!!!
I'll take nothing away from the storyline as it is brilliant.
However, I found that I was able to skip a lot of pages and not lose the essence of the story.
I did this, and this is where I am disappointed, because the story just has an overkill of too much detail. The storyline does not quantify so much meaningless waffling.
There is perhaps an element of impatience, maybe. But boredom most certainly.
The storyline has to hold you enthralled. This story failed in that respect. Just too much detail!!
This doesn't mean that I'm not looking forward to the next book in this series. I most certainly am looking forward to the next book, and seeing how many pages I will need to skip again!!!

Good series

Although this is the second book in the series I think most ppl could understand it if this was the first book you read, still it's nicer if you can read the first book.

Our crews previous exposure to the galos cube seems to have lead to some interesting side effects which will come in handy!  We also get to meet a 2nd alien race that seem just as nice as the Sagh’eld!  There might be some friendly aliens in this universe but we haven't found them yet.

Good book and I've already downloaded the next.

Inventive and readable

Much the same as the prior series but fast paced and enjoyable, enough difference in characters and plotlines to hold interest, looking forward to the next instalment.
