Awwwww

This was so sweet that I'm gonna get a cavity, but it was worth it.

So in here we have Cupid, an omega reindeer shifter who runs a mating business and Remy, an rare elk shifter thought to be extinct.

You see, Remy is looking for his fated mate, as only that person can carry his children or things can get bad for the omega.

Anyways, Cupid decides to go fake dates with Remy to teach him how to interact with people. This lasts all of a date and a half when Cupid goes into heat and we all know what happens.

It takes Cupid a few days to admit he is Remy's mate but by then its too late, Remy shifts into his massive form and is so depressed in the woods that Santa tells Cupid to get his head out of his tush and to go get his mate.

They reconcile, find out Cupid is preggo, and move in together.

I really enjoyed this one, my only nitpick were the editing/spelling errors.

This book feels incredibly well developed and complete for being less than 100 pages. What a feat! I really liked both Cupid and Remy. Remy's problem while dating felt very creative, especially when taking into account Cupid's job. It was a really enjoyable little morsel of sweetness all around

This is the third book I read in this series...and so far wonderful...loving the mating reindeer theme. Remy and Cupid...opposites but sparks fly immediately when they meet up. Somewhat rocky start but that only made their mating all the more special...plus a big help from jolly ol St. Nick and we got us a sweet as a can be romance. So many emotions I had cheering this unlikely couple along and what a wonderful HEA they had...Very NICE!!!!

This was a spicy sweet little holiday story of magic and perfect mates. Cupid may be a very successful matchmaker at the North Pole, but he was a bit clueless when it came to his own. Remy knows what he wants. And what he wants is Cupid. Cupid just has to get out of his own head first. I enjoyed this little slice of holiday magic. I fell in love with these guys.

This was a short quick read that I liked. Matchmaker and reindeer shifter Cupid is used to being able to set up even the most difficult client. So when three dates go wrong for a Mr. Remy Shannon, even in Christmas town where little goes poorly, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Remy doesn't want to waste time dating when he knows he's looking for a true mate. He's an unusual shifter who needs someone who can handle him, so he's not willing to play nice social games. But Cupid is right up his alley, and Remy is willing to go the distance to woo him. This was a pretty good read. Cupid agrees to go on pretend dates with Remy to help him in social situations while having dinner at Cupid's house they hook up and Remy realizes that they are mates. When Cupid doesn't believe him Remy leaves and Cupid gets sick it is up to Santa to help Cupid face the truth he hurt his mate. This was a good read and a good edition to this series. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

**3.5 Stars**

This was a very sweet, quick read. My one niggle was all the cutesy names and sayings, that got a bit tiresome after a while.

My thoughts on the complete series... Overall it was okay. There were some stories I thought were really good and some not so much. Maybe reading them one after the other wasn't a great idea. The books started to blend together and the stories ended up feeling all the same. Not bad but not my favorite.

QUICK THOUGHTS

** Holiday/Christmas
** Irish Elk shifter/Matchmaker Cupid pairing
** Fated mates
** Insta lust/love
** Mpreg
** No drama
** Sugary sweet
** Maybe a tiny bit of Santa magic LOL
** Loved the MCs... Cupid & Remy
** An abrupt but satisfying enough ending
** Short, less than 100 pages
** Part of a Multi Author Series
** Can definitely be read as a stand-alone

I will honestly say I was confused, mistaking Cupid the reindeer (shifter) with the Roman god of love, thinking this would be a Valentine’s read. Instead, it’s a short and sweet, low angst, fated-mates romance between two unusual shifters who find love just in time for Christmas. The pacing is swift, with a nod to the physical issues both men suffer as a result of their incomplete bonding. I loved how Santa intercedes, in a jolly way. Remy is such a romantic soul, and Cupid is initially clueless, but appropriately contrite. The happily ever after is tender, with an adorable ending.

Love at Frost Bite Cupid by Minerva Howe is a very cute Christmas novella about a reindeer shifter and an Irish elk shifter with some interesting DNA. Cupid is the reindeer shifter who owns a dating/matchmaking service in Satnaland near the North Pole. He is very interested in making his clients happy but he finds that one of them, Remy the Irish Elk shifter, is not. Cupid takes on the case and meets with him. He finds out that Remy is looking for a mate, not just a date, so has been rude and inconsiderate to the ones he has had because he knows they are not a match for him. So Cupid decides to set up a series of dates with Remy so he can teach him what he should be doing when he meets people. Remy agrees and they start to meet. They feel an attraction to each other and eventually act on it. Remy is sure that Cupid is his mate but Cupid is hesitant about it and avoids him. It takes a surprise as well as Santa to bring them back together to get their happy ending. I really enjoyed this book. Cupid was no-nonsense but also kind when it came to helping Remy. Remy was just a big creampuff with lots of feelings who knew what he wanted but just not how to get it. I also liked that he had some interesting ancestors and that he was maybe the only of his kind left. The side characters also added to the fun, especially Leon, who was Cupid’s assistant and very snarky even though he had some good advice. And having Santa as a major character in getting them together also added to the fun. Finally, I just loved all the little Christmas sayings that the characters were using rather unconventionally when talking as they often had me laughing out loud. I highly recommend this book. If you are looking for a short read with a little angst and lots of caring and love then I would definitely add this one to your Christmas reading list.

4.25 stars! Love at Frost Bite: Cupid was the 2nd book I read in this Mated to His Reindeer series. I like it because each each is by a different author but the stories are all standalone. This was also my 1st book by Minerva Howe & I really enjoyed her writing so I will definitely be checking out her other books!

Cupid is a reindeer shifter who is also a matchmaker but is single himself & not looking for a mate. Remy is an unusual shifter with brisk manners who won’t settle for anything other than his true mate. When Cupid gets complaints about Remy’s personality Cupid steps in himself to teach Remy to have proper manners.

Remy is convinced right away that Cupid is his mate but Cupid insists that isn’t true. After a heated night together with an unexpected surprise Remy & Cupid have to find some common ground to decide if they are going to work out.

I found this book incredibly sweet & I loved Remy to pieces, omg! He was a big gentle giant with the sweetest of hearts. He’s looked over a lot because of his gruff manners but he just doesn’t know any better. Cupid coaching him to be more polite was really cute & I liked that they were opposite attracting & when they got to know each other more realized they actually have a good amount in common.

Oh, and I almost forgot that this has Santa in it which I always loved when characters are friends with Santa! Also, there’s a ride share service called Jyngle lol. Isn’t that adorable!?

*This book was gifted to me through Gay Romance Reviews but my review is not based on that fact & I will always give my honest opinion.

Cupid is a reindeer shifter who lives at the North Pole and who runs a dating service. He takes pride in being able to match people up so when on of his business new clients ends up with three complaints from prospective dates, he takes matters into his own hands. He meets with Remy who is an elk shifter and an alpha even though he isn't a predator shifter. Remy wants to find his fated mate and refuses to waste time dating people he knows aren't his mate. Cupid decides that he needs to give Remy some dating practice and tries to convince Remy that finding a mate can take time to adjust to each other. Cupid doesn't believe in fated mates since it has been so long since any were found. During the practice dates with Remy, he really starts to like him and is physically drawn to him. When Remy calls him mate, Cupid pushes him away. They can't be fated, can they?

Remy is more that just an Irish elk shifter, he is a genetic throwback. The only way he can have a family is if he finds his fated mate. His experience with Cupid's dating service hasn't been the best. Then he meets Cupid himself. His elk instantly realizes that he has found his mate. Now Remy just has to convince Cupid that they are meant to be together.

Disbelief, that's what happens. Cupid runs a matchmaking service that he created and runs, he tries to make sure everyone can have a match that suits him. When a client says that he's not getting any good matches Cupid meets with him to see what's the matter. That's when these two start to like each other, after more meetings and them getting to know each other a bit, Remy knows Cupid is his mate. Cupid, however, strongly disagrees. After breaking Remy's heart Cupid gets a stern talking to from Santa. He finally realizes that him and Remy are actually mates, something he didn't think existed anymore.

This story was short, unique, and very happy! I've read reindeer shifter books before but I've never read about a Megaloceros shifter before. That was completely unique to this story. I really enjoyed the romance that these two have and I think their relationship is just adorable. I'm glad both of these men were able to find their person.

Overall a really good quick read about fated mates.

This was such a neat tale of Cupid the matchmaker who works too much and takes pride in doing well by his clients even when they present a challenge. Remy may not come with all the social graces and he is definitely a bit direct but he knows what he wants. He wants his mate. And when Cupid gets some complaints about Remy not being a good date he decides to investigate by spending a little time with him to see what he can do to find Remy a date and to make him a better date for those he might go out with. Working together they are preparing Remy - for Cupid as it turns out they are mates! Cupid is not looking and in some ways doesn't think he wants a partner. But he gets one in Remy that could not have been more different than him or more perfect for him. They both get a wonderful gift in finding love with one another and the family they begin to build together. This story has humor, compassion, love, joy and a cute baby. All the feels!

A wonderful addition to the Love at Frost Bite series with an opposites attract, fated mates romance between matchmaker, Cupid, and his impossible client, Remy.
When he plans to meet the shifter to find out how he can help, Cupid had no idea what he was in for. There's a bit of indulgence, denial and panic before Cupid takes that step towards his future. Remy knows what he wants and doesn't see the point of carrying on with dates who aren't his mate. Gruff, yes, but also a realist and upon meeting Cupid, there's no denying he's finally found his perfect match.
I like the premise of Cupid being a matchmaker, even as a shifter at the North Pole. As they're getting to know each other, there's a lot of sweetness, even from Remy as he lightens up and enjoys being with Cupid. It's a well written and enjoyable short story with a guaranteed HEA.

"Love is the best gift we can give or receive, no matter the time of year"

Love at Frost Bite: Cupid is part of the multi-author Mated to His Reindeer series. I'm really enjoying this series and this book is a wonderful addition. Cupid, an omega reindeer shifter, is a matchmaker. He wasn't looking to match himself but that is exactly what happened when he tried to find a match for Remy, an alpha elk shifter. Remy was looking for his fated mate, no one else would do, so Cupid arranged several dates for Remy. All of which were not whom Remy was looking for. Cupid, wanting to succeed in helping Remy, decided to go on a date with Remy to see if he could help him better. Once Remy discovered Cupid was his fated mate things moved quickly. This is a sweet story. Remy and Cupid are perfect for each other. I recommend this book and series.

Cupid is used to difficult clients as a matchmake and reindeer shifter. When Remy Shannon’s dates go wrong three times in a row, he decides personalized service is necessary. Remy is after all an unusual shifter. Maybe he could use some practice dates. When one of those practice dates gets out of hand and the two men finds themselves surprised. Now they have to decide to reach for the joy or lose it.

This was a sweet mpreg romance story with a wonderful ending. Cupid enjoyed his job as a matchmakes and did not want romance in his life. Remy had no time for social games and wanted what he wanted. Communication and acceptance were a key for these two. Happiness demanded it. Pick this one up and watch as they dance around the issues. It makes for fun reading.

A fantastic holiday tale!

I love this book! The heartwarming story of Cupid and Remy, a reindeer and an Irish Elk. Remy is looking for his mate and Cupid is the matchmaker trying to help him. It’s been hard and Remy is getting frustrated until Cupid meets with him in person. Remy knows right then that Cupid’s the one but it will take a little longer for Cupid to accept it. I love how things change between them and how Santa will step in to help Cupid see what’s right in front of him. It’s a wonderful happy ending for the two with good friends, lots of love and an adorable little girl who means the world to them both.

Well, this was flipping delightful! I’ve not read this author before, but I loved Cupid and Remy’s story. I didn’t know I was missing reindeer and Irish elk mpreg/shifter Christmas romance in my life, but lesson learned. My favorite were the practice dates Cupid gives Remy and how they both start to look forward to them. They are both so charming and sweet together, I just loved it right from the first chapter. The author has created a fully realized and perfect Christmas setting, a magical and unique version on the North Pole. A wonderful and whimsical Christmas read - creative, interesting, with lots of great characters to fill out the story.

Cupid takes matters into his own hands and tries to help coach Remy to get over his trepidation and to become more dateable, but wouldn't you know it, Cupid goes into heat and it turns out they were fated mates all along.

This was a super cute little holiday romance with mpreg, shifters, and fated mates, oh my! I loved the MC's together. Once Remy got out of his own way, he made a great mate for Cupid. I really enjoyed this book. It made me laugh out loud several times. Sweet holiday read.

Love at Frost Bite Cupid is part of the multi author series, Mated to His Reindeer. Cupid runs a matchmaker service and had tried a few times to set up Remy with his perfect match. But Remy wants his fated mate and none of the matches were his mate. Until they meet for coffee and Remy realizes that Cupid is his mate. They meet a few times, one of those times throws Cupid into heat, but he’s in denial and stupidly throws Remy away. This was a super sweet with heat and spicy holiday romance. Loved, loved, loved Remy and Cupid together, just perfect. Overall, a fantastic read that hooked me and didn’t let go, read in one sitting. Well written with great pacing.

I absolutely adored this book from start to finish. This was a sweet and fun afternoon read. This is the perfect holiday novella for those who love shifters and Mpreg. Cupid never wants to have a client he can’t find a match for, so he’s determined to get to know Remy better. He thinks once he knows Remy he’ll be able to find him his perfect match. What Cupid never expected was to be Remy’s fated mate. One thing I loved about this story was that neither Remy or Cupid had to change to be the perfect partner. The men were very different from each other but it worked out to be the next HEA. I’ll definitely be reading this book again.

I did receive a free ARC of this book but that did not influence my review.

Of course, Cupid would be a reindeer shifter who is a matchmaker in this series which is been a total delight from the names, to the world building to the sometimes prickly characters who are getting their HEAs. Remy initially seems to be one of those prickly ones, but it turns out he knows what he's looking for and isn't going to waste time with those who aren't his fated mate. When he continues to be a "failure" for Cupid, Cupid decides to personally investigate and of course Remy realizes what he's found in this guy. There is plenty of steam, some logical plot turns for this universe and a couple who work together to make a wonderful life full of promise.

Cupid and Remy was a bitter sweet and endearing holyday read as a troublesome elk finds his happiness with the one doing the matchmaking.
Their first time being intimate is explosive but then doubts take over as Cupid ignores his instincts.
Their time to resolve their hang-ups is bittersweet until the holy intervention of the one who makes wishes come true.
Their bundle of joy is adorable and the care Remy has with Cupid is endearing.
It was an enjoyable holyday read with a touch of magic.

The matchmaker meets his match. How magical is that!

This series keeps getting better and better! Santa-land never looked so good. I could easily visualize all the characters. I read this book on one sitting...it was that good. And an Irish Elk! Not so extinct after all. Cupid is a matchmaker not expecting to find a mate for himself. But Santa has heard Remy's Christmas wish. Therefore HEA is assured. Get ready for misunderstandings, morning sickness, dating etiquette, favorite foods. I loved this book! You will, too.

Remy and Cupid are so cute. I like the subtle twist on the alpha and omega personalities. Until pregnancy hormones were added in the mix, Cupid had a bossier, take charge personality, whereas Remy had more of a gentle giant personality. However, Remy was definitely an alpha who took care of his omega. I love dragons and wolves and panthers, but it was nice to read a story that had different and unusual shifters.

This is a great holiday read - sweet and short for the busy season. I love the humor of Santa-land cussing. Oh Sparkle!

Cupid is a matchmaker. Remy is an Irish Elk, that requires a certain kind of mate to be able to carry his offspring.

After discovering that Remy was having difficulties with potential matches, Cupid decides to take matters into his own hands. What neither truly expected was to find themselves to be fated to one another.

As stubbornness almost prevailed, it too a little magic from Santa and fate did the rest.

Such a sweet and witty story of love.

Matchmaker, make him a match

This was an adorable holiday novella featuring a gruff Irish elk shifter and a workaholic reindeer matchmaker. Remy recognized almost immediately that Cupid was the one for him, but Cupid played ostrich so thoroughly that Santa Nick intervened to set them on the right path. There were bits of cuteness and colorful Christmas language sprinkled throughout the story. I also enjoyed Cupid’s assistant Leon. Maybe a little too sugary overall, but definitely a lighthearted and fun read for the season.
