Last Bitch Standing is the last book of Deja King's BITCH seris. With each page the drama increases. Precious Mills a vishish Brooklynn native is searching for her husband music mogul Supreme and infant daughter Aaliyah. On the top of Precious' hitlist is Maya Harris the reason her family's missing. Maya wants Precious' spot as "Queen Bee" she'll do anything to get rid of her and become the new Mrs.Mills. Precious will die before she let's Maya take her family. Murder and mayhem unfolds in every chapter of LAST BITCH STANDING but, who will fall?

I liked this book because its very fascinating to me. I have the previous four so I had to see what everything came down to. I love how raw and uncut the book is. It's hard hitting and right to the point. Ms. King has incredible skills when it comes to imagery. You can picture everything that happens. What intrigs me the most is how I connect to the characters. It feels like real life relationships.

This could have been a 5 star book but the ending left much to be desired. I don't know but something changed between book 4 and book 5. Maybe there was a deadline or King had some stuff going on that took her mind off of her story - whatever but something happened.
Aaliyah's paternity? No suspense whatsoever. After the previous build-up not to mention King's blog asking readers to vote on this, one sentence completed the entire thing.
We "end" the story with Precious and Maya with no ending. There is literally no ending. I have questions upon questions. There will be a part 6 - Bitch: A New Beginning (Bitch Series, #6) but from the epilogue in part 5 it looks as if part 6 is starting with a teenage Aaliyah. Which is all fine and good, it's a great way to keep a great series going.... BUT.... there are only two options now for the story with Precious and Maya. One, nothing happens and the ending for their story in part 5 just sucked. Two, we learn a few things about what happened with them while reading Aaliyah's story. Which may very well still suck, just not as bad.
I don't get it - I don't see the reason for it. There was no reason why King couldn't have ended this with a bang just like the others. I'm not a happy person right now - I love this series and this was a letdown. The only reason I'm giving it four stars was because I'm already in love with the characters and the majority of the story is what one can expect from King.
I hope she comes back with part 6.

I have finally come to the end of this series and I am kind of sad. I feel like I've "watched" Precious grow up lol. Anyway, I pretty much knew or guessed how the ending was gonna go down. I'm not disappointed, but more so glad it happened the way I saw it and wanted. However, my only thing was the whole kidnapping -AGAIN, even irritated me. It was too much, extra dramatic, felt like it dragged the story out more than it needed to be. Thinking about reading Aaliyah's story next.

Amazing, as always! I just cannot get enough of this series. I was happy to see that Precious finally started getting her shit together then BAM! Major plot twist headed her way. I'm sad the main storyline with Precious is coming to an end, but I am definitely eager to see what kind of drama Aaliyah has coming towards her. Will be continuing to read the series! Quick and easy read.

Book was really good.

Maya was still up to her tricks. Supreme and Maya moved to Miami while Precious looking everywhere for them. She finds out thou Nico's PI where Devon is at and try to get to him.

Maya beeing nosey find some information about some guy name Arnez in Supreme's office and want to know more about hime plus she finds out where Devon is at.

When she find out about Arnez she finds out more about him that his enemies is Delondo's Devon's boss and there was some issures with Arnez.
She finds out that Arnez is a woman beater and she hits it.

Precious meets Coco and Gensis though Nico. She mentions Maya's name and Gensis acts like he don't know who Maya is and Precious gets a bad feeling about him.

Later one from Gensis she gets the whereabouts to where Supreme has moved and go back home explaning to Supreme about Maya.

Maya finds out that Precious is back home and decide to kidnap Aaliyah yet again. Causing Precious to track her down beat her butt and treaten to kill her. Until Gensis tell Precious who Maya really is.

Then ending wasn't to much of a big shock I kind of figured that it would come out sooner or later. Cant wait until part 6 want to see what Aaliyah get her self into.

I am a bit disappointed in this Dena introduced entirely too many characters that did not intensify the plot at all instead left me as a reader a bit confounded...I am almost certain she intertwined everyone so she could branch out into other stories but in my opinion it made the plot weak and she fell short of her goal......not my favorite

AGAIN????

This episode was something of a disappointment, almost a repeat. Although I was delighted to read everyone survived. I sincerely hope the story doesn't go from the last chapter to where the epilogue started. That would leave too much of a time gap.

I love this one just like all the others! There’s a teaser at the end for Aaliyah’s story.

Precious always comes out on top. Even if she has to fight her way through. I have been waiting for her happy ever after but maybe the next book?

the titele of my book is "bitch is back ".the author is a young female named deja joy king . the book was published in 2006. this book got a bestseller award . this bestsellers book has 192 page in this amazing book . this book had me very interested while i was reading this book. the main characters are presious , her mother , king pen.this book takes place in nyc but it also leads to new jersey .
thuis story takes place in the city of new york an dthis books time age is in the 20th cenutry .the good guy io this series is presious cumming . presious decied to get on the ball so she could make her life better than i really was going to be . the major confilt of this story is when she was pregant and she almosted died and she lost her baby . the bad guy was her ex boyfriend the one that shot her .the other charaters are the drug dealer , her manager .
This could have been a 5 star book but the ending left much to be desired. I don't know but something changed between book 4 and book 5. Maybe there was a deadline or King had some stuff going on that took her mind off of her story - whatever but something happened.

I love this book soo much! I was completely in awe of this book and finised it the very day i got it...... I have all the books in this series and i just finally read the last one. I can't believe it ended the way it did but it was still good because it was something i didnt expect and Deja King is such a wonderful writer and she always leaves you guessing what will happen next. I do say im surprised and quite shocked by the events that sprawled out towards the end but it was well worth the wait of reading this book. I can't wait for part 6 because I know once again Deja King will not dissappoint!!

I'm one of Deja's biggest fan. This book was so good I was glad when I got it. I would hate to tell the story but a great read. But you must meet the first 4 parts to understand how I feel. But I do have so questions... What happened to Maya? So many I wanted to jump on Maya myself. What's up with Precious and Supreme? What happen with her father??? I can't wait for part 6!! She keep writing ima keep reading I love it!!

I liked the book but I was disappointed with the ending because I still don't know what happened to maya. I don't know if maya was killed or if she is in jail. Also I think the book should have finished with Aliyah still a baby instead of finishing with her as a teenager. I really enjoyed the book because it keep me on the edge but the ending could of been better! I wonder if book number 6 will answer all of my questions although the reviews weren't good.

Let's be serious. This is a typo riddled trainwreck. There is little real development of characters. Urban fiction rides entirely on over the top plot, and the Bitch series delivers. This series does make you want to know what's next. This is why a librarian like me is still intent on reading them all.

Each book just gets better and better than before

I chose a five star rating because this book is very interesting. You don't want to put the book down for anything. I would have found out what happened to Maya. And rather or not she went to jail. So I guess Alliyala is gonna try and be like her mother.

The Bitch series was left in Kandarhar for other female soldiers to read. It let me feel as if I was still in the streets of New York. Precious is a gun fighting woman and she gives the men a run for there money.
