Thief is the fourth captivating book in the Popov Bratva series by Leslie Georgeson. OMG have I got some catching up to do with this author. I can’t believe it has taken this long for me to discover her fantastic work/s!!! I have seriously been missing out. All it took was one book and I have developed a Leslie Georgeson addiction that I am only too happy to keep feeding. Oh Yeah - I feel a book binge coming on ….
This is a sublime Bratva romance- an enemies to lovers story with plenty of action, danger, mystery, suspense, dramatic developments, intrigue, chemistry, sizzle, humour, banter, comradery, ‘brotherhood’, angst, agendas, secrets, betrayal, incredibly interesting characters, and so, so much more.
Dom is a Bratva prince who sets out to fill a customer order which will require him to ‘acquire’ a certain type of vehicle- but things don’t quite go according to his well laid out plans and this thief ends up stealing something much more valuable than just a sexy car. A Bratva prince, a country music star, a stolen car, danger, and plenty of sparks combine to ignite quite an exciting ride….
I have come into this series a little backwards, starting on Book #4- so thankfully ‘Thief’ is able to be read as a standalone without feeling like I was lost or missing important information. Having said that though, and from what I could tell, the series has a stellar cast of recurring characters who each get their own book in the series. These characters have well and truly whet my appetite for sampling more of their deliciousness- and Ms. Georgeson has me well and truly hooked on all the enticing developments. And as I said earlier, one book is definitely not enough!
I am so happy to have finally discovered this talented author, and to find that she has numerous other books ready for me to devour. I am excited to find someone worthy of a major book-binging session. I am looking forward to stalking- hmm, umm- I mean ‘following’ her, and will be keeping an eye out for anything new she produces so I can snap them up, too…
As I said, this is the fourth book in an on-going series. The series consists of:

This is the first book I have read by Leslie Georgeson, and I plan on reading them all after this. While Thief is technically the fourth book in the Popov Bratva series each book can be read as a standalone. Yes, the characters from the previous books do appear in this book but it is just adding to the story, they are not the main leads here. This book is a dual perspective book, going between Dominik and Leah.
Dominik Popov is a 28-year-old man living in L.A., he is apart of the Popov Bratva family that has many business ventures including car sales and owning nightclubs. Dominik lived life by one rule, don’t get attached, but over the past year since his mother had passed away and his twin brother moved out of the family home things are different. Now feeling very dissatisfied with his life Dom decides to fill a new order for a car, for a thrill he has long lost.
Leah Hart is a 27-year-old country music star living in L.A., a simple run to the local grocery store with her best friend and manager Melanie flips her life on its head. In the hurry to leave the store after a fellow customer recognizes her, she realizes after getting home that she has lost her wallet. A quick call to Gus her chauffeur and bodyguard to check the car she has no choice but to return to the store before they close in hopes of finding it.
10:45 p.m. with only 15 minutes until the store closes for the night Leah feels parking next to the only other expensive vehicle in the parking lot is safe. The feeling someone is behind her she catches a mysterious man exit the other vehicle and steal hers, but he won’t get away without her. With no choice but to let her go with her car he makes sure she keeps quiet. Insuring he has a backup plan incase she goes to the police he sets out to find out exactly who Leah Hart is. No preparation in the world could have prepared him for what he learns. A false name, dark family past, and a twisted ex keeps Dominik and Leah on their toes as they fight against their unwanted attraction for the other.
Secrets come out and life mottos begin to shift. What will happen when Dominik learns all her secrets? What will happen when Leah’s past finds her? The authors world building and character development kept me racing to learn more. I can’t wait to learn more about Adrik, one of Dominik’s most loyal and trusted bodyguards in Beast, book 5 in the Popov Bratva series.

I voluntarily reviewed a cooy of "THIEF" I was hooked from the start its full of suspense, intrigue, angst, deceit, secrets, passion, emotional turmoil, lies, betrayal, kidnapping, rivals, danger, intense action, violence, twists you didn't see coming.
Dominik Popov part of Russian Mafia known as the Thief he steals cars refurbishes them sells at high prices, when he trys up steal an Audi R8 in parking lot at grocery story he never expects the driver up jump into passenger seat & pepper spray his face.
Dom get Adrik & Timofey when they catch up to them to bind her blindfold her take to the place they do interrogations.
Dom F-ed up royally especially when he finds he kidnapped Country Sweetheart Super Star Singer Leah Hart & she saw his face he makes get deal to let her go with her car if she doesn't tell anyone he has info on that could ruin her career.
Dom takes Adrik & Timofey heads up Tahoe for a break meets up with twin Lev his girlfriend Siena & son Nico, Sasha & Willow there dog Harley, Zeke & Mia at beach house.
Leah Hart decides a trip to her other home in Tahoe is on order he needs a much needed break her car breaks down that's when Dominik pills up heading to his beach surprise to see its Leah Hart offers her a ride.
Dom & gang head out on the boat waterskiing when Zeke spots Leah on beach & tells Dom to pull over he's not thrilled but does anyway they invite to dinner the sexual chemistry between Dom & Leah you could cut with knife but he's a one & done kind of guy he doesn't do relationships.
Dom & Leah's back & forth both these two have traumatic past that mess with their emotions & trust their road is on bumpy ride.
I definitely recommend to get this well written story with so many great characters following Dom & Leah's journey especially when her past comes back to haunt her bringing disaster & danger.
I'm so looking forward to Adtik's story next in this series "BEAST" you get to see a little background on him in this story I can't wait to read about him.

I received an ARC of this book from the author, the fourth in the Popov Bratva series. I’ve been enjoying this series so far, and I enjoyed this book too. It focuses on Dom, Lev’s twin brother, and his budding relationship with Leah, a famous country singer whom he does not know.

I must confess, I loved the circumstances under which Dom and Leah meet—when he tries to steal her car. Not many would be stupid enough to confront a carjacker, but then, not many are like Leah. Dom is surprised, to say the least. Obviously, he doesn’t kill her, as most carjackers would probably do, so don’t try this at home.

Dom and Leah are both similar in their unwillingness to allow anyone to get too close to them. Dom is still mourning the loss of his mother a year ago (in Lev and Siena’s story) and Leah lost her mother at 14, and ended up in a series of lousy foster homes. The final one was the worst.

Leah has some BIG secrets in her past, although once we know the main ones, we have a pretty good idea about the one she really doesn’t want to tell anyone. And now, some bad people are after Leah, and it’s because they recognized her when following Dom. Even if he doesn’t want a relationship with her (spoiler: he does), he feels responsible and determined to protect her. Lev and their cousin, Sacha, immediately offer to help.

To no one’s surprise, Dom and Leah overcome their fear of commitment and learn to trust one another. It’s a simple story, but it’s well told with compelling characters. Plus, it’s part of a series and each one leads you to want to read the next.

Action packed, steamy romance that leaves the reader on the edge of their seats at every turn! First book by Leslie Georgeson, but certainly won’t be my last! I can’t wait to go back & read the others in the series. SO captivating! One of the best Mafia Romance books that I’ve read so far!

Bad boy, Dominik Popov, is a high end thief for the Russian mob, who meets his match when he attempts to steal an Audi R8. When Dom steals the car, he didn’t count on the driver jumping into the passenger seat and pepper spraying him. Dominik kidnaps the owner of the car and later learns that she is Leah Hark—a famous country star. Realizing that she will be easily missed if gone too long, Dom decides to let Leah & her car go—as long as she doesn’t tell anyone of the attempted carjacking (or abduction). Leah complies, as Dom knows something about Leah that if word got out, it would ruin her career. The two part ways and that’s that….Dom decides he needs to clear his head and goes to Tahoe to visit his brother. Imagine their surprise when Leah & Dom cross paths again in Tahoe! Sparks continue to fly between the two as they get closer, however an ex of Leah’s shows up and begins causing trouble. Can they work through the web of secrets and lies to build something special?
Fast paced, edge of your seat, page turner. I could not get through the book fast enough. 5+ stars!

Romantic Suspense is probably my favourite trope to read and this is a great example of a thrilling romantic suspense novel. This author was new to me but I was intrigued by the blurb and decided to try a new author. I can certainly say that I will now be reading more of this author’s work. In particular, I want to read the other books in this series.
This is the 4th book in the Mafia romantic suspense series but each book can be read as a standalone. I didn’t feel that I was missing any necessary information to enjoy this book but I’m now intrigued by the other couples who appear in this book and want to find out their stories.
In this book we get the story of Dominik Popov, car thief for the Bratva. He’s never had any issues when stealing a car until he tries to steal the beloved Audi R8 of country music sensation Leah Hart. Has he finally met his match?
I loved both Dominik and Leah as characters. It’s very much an opposites-attract story as well as a romantic suspense. The story is action packed from the very beginning and the author does a great job of keeping you gripped and entertained right up to the end. It’s very much a page-turner.
I guarantee you won’t be disappointed with this book.

This was such a wonderful read, I could not put this one down! It pulled me right in from the start! I loved the writing style of this wonderful author as well! I was hooked, and in much anticipation as I read through. I could not get enough of the story or the characters. The book gave so much!

For starters, freaking loved Dominik's character. He came off tough, but had a heart of gold. He was set in hos ways at times, but sometimes a heart can melt at the right moment. Loved the chemistry and the moments between these two. I found they met their match with one another, and showed what realism is between two people. Loved how things progressed, and the build up! The story itself had build up as well. Things came to light in the story and between these two. Lots of twists and moments that really impacted the story. I really enjoyed this book, and will be reading more by this author! Loved it!

Highly recommend this author and the books that they bring to life! I enjoyed this one very much, and I for sure will be reading more that they have created. High recommendation to author and book for sure!

Oh la la! This book is my favorite so far! Thief is the 4th book in this series but the second one I have read! All the books are intertwined but can easily be read in any order. Personally, I think I would start with book 1 (next to be read!!) Each book references other family members and situations and while it doesn’t take away from the current main characters, I bet the story would be better (if possible) knowing everyone’s story to date. Leah and Dom are the main characters in Thief and their meeting is a little unconventional and exciting and funny.

Dom is known as the Family’s car thief; his job is the last of the illegal business the Family has going. Dom knows he needs to find something else to do as he is feeling something is missing.

Leah is a singer/performer and the center of attention. Sometimes the wrong attention. Leah just wants to be happy, safe and seen for herself, not for her family connections.

This story includes some bad guys and some really, really bad guys. This author creates a world in which the reader can escape to for an exciting adventure. Looking forward to the rest of the stories for this family.

Thief (Popov Bratva Book 4) by Leslie Georgeson. I have loved all these books in this series and I especially like that you can read them as a standalone. This one is the story of Dominick who is a car thief for the Popov Bratva. He is not one to meet someone and settle down. He is the typical bad boy. When he runs into Leah, a country singer, while he is trying to steal a car it all goes crazy. He's thinking he's going to have to kidnap her to keep her quite. Dominick has never,ever botched a job and all because of this crazy red head he has botched his first. After he takes her he realizes she is famous which doesn't make the kidnapping any easier. As they spend time together even if its time not wanted on Leah's part they become closer and the chemistry is off the charts. Will Leah be the one thing that ruins Dominick's career. How in the world can he let a famous country star ruin him. Little does he know but she has secrets of her own. Will they be able to make a relationship work or will she turn Dominick in? Read this fun bad boy romance to find out.

Bratva, hidden secrets, nothing is as it seems.....This is a love story with some awesome suspense. Dominick is the car thief for the Popov Bratva. He's got many secrets to hide. Leah is a country singer with a background that she doesn't want known. One night, an attempted car heist brings these two together and the rest is, as they say, history. Oh my, I love the drama. The sparks fly of the two of them. There is chemistry so hot that I'm surprised the car didn't melt. These two try to avoid each other and instead wind up closer then ever. The characters are so well-written. They are very relatable. I was shocked with a few of the plot twists. I was rooting for them also. I loved the dialogue. The plot ran smooth even with a couple of sub stories. This is a contemporary romance that is a quick read and quite enjoyable. You should hit that one-click and give it a read. You won't be sorry. Highly recommend.

Thief is a gripping and thrilling dark Mafia romance suspense tale. It is the fourth book in the Popov Bratva series. I read this as a standalone but I will be going back and starting at the beginning as I enjoyed it so much. This twisted tale will leave you addicted and wanting more. The characters are compelling and make the story come alive. It is full of everything to keep the reader enthralled with intrigue and suspense, passion and angst, lies and deceit, secrets and betrayal, danger and violence, plus a little enemy to lover's romance.

No one steals her baby and gets away with it. No one can make him deviate from his work. That is until the two collide in the most unusual way and sparks begin to fly.

Gotta love a bad boy right? They’re irresistible! Leah couldn’t help but to fall for a thief/criminal. They meet under a crazy circumstance and it’s a blessing in disguise! It really is. Because Dominik and Leah are great for eachother! Dominik is this stubborn bad boy and Leah is this famous country star! From completely different worlds (so you think) Little do you know but Leah has a crazy past herself! 🤔 phenomenal book though! Great plot, amazing characters! I couldn’t put the book down and that’s why I’m up at 2 am 🤣 I just HAD to finish it. The drama, the thrill, the intensity, the spice…it’s all perfect! HIGHLY recommend!

Every good thing said about this book is true! The drama, angst, sexual tension, and danger were only a few of the highlights. All of the sexy Bratva bad boys left an impression and I officially have already backtracked to book 1 to experience where it all began.
Dom was sexy and together he and Leah were just pure fire. I loved how protective he was of Leah, but I also loved Leah's fierce and strength. They are both terrified of relationships and where things can lead, but the overall need to be together causes them to both give in. This story was a great read!

This is the fourth installment to this series and I honestly can’t believe it took me this long to discover this author. This enemies to lovers story is full of action, drama, mystery, chemistry and so much more that I simply couldn’t put it down. While I haven’t read the previous three books in this series I will definitely be going back and reading them in order. That being said you can read them each as a stand-alone but if you love them as much as I did you’ll want to binge the entire series in a weekend.

I was hooked from the beginning. I could not stop reading. Dominik is part of the Russian Bratva. He tries to steal a car, but the owner jumps in the car. It turns out to be a country music star, Leah Hart.
They make a deal to let Leah leave with her car. They run into each other at a later time and sparks fly. Leah has secrets she does not reveal. Her father gets out of jail and is coming for her. A thrilling adventure that will not disappoint.

Loved the intensity of Dominik, his unwillingness to bend, even to Leah. Enjoyed the concept of how they met and how she fought back. She was "something more". He was all in to protect her without ever really knowing her, well he did know her on paper, but not the real woman and she was fascinating. A thief and a celebrity, and a wonderful family to back them up. I am very much enjoying this series. Definitely recommend.

Great read. I love this series. They can be read alone but you get so much more if you read them in order. It pulls you in and makes you want to see what is next. Good guys, bad guys, family loyalty, twists and turns. It has such great characters. I can't wait to read the next in the series Beast Adriks story. I recommend all of Leslies book. She is a chamelian story teller and has many genres. This was a goft and this is my voluntary review

Thief where to start.

From the get go this was a gripping and thrilling read - a thief of my attention to the real world I must say.

Dom is such an emotional guy buried under years of hiding his true feelings. its great to see that as the book progresses he begins to come out of his icy exterior he has built to protect himself. His loss of not having his brother around as often made his shut down and this was a big change for him and it was good to see their relationship doesn't suffer from the distance.

Leah wow such an inspiring young woman who showed me that if in that situation with the car I'd be likely to act the same way, unfortunately I would probably be unfortunate enough not to get get yummy man like thief. Leah is so capable and with everything she has gone through its a testament to the person she is inside and out.

This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed reading. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future. This is a well written story that is full of mafia romance, trust and some rules are meant to be broken. I enjoyed how the characters brought the story to life on each page. They pulled me into their story from the start and had me coming back for more. They have great growth and chemistry throughout the story. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. It is an engaging story that you don’t want to miss. Will rules be broken? Is there a happily ever after? This is such a great story, I highly recommend this book.

Dominik Popov is the negotiator, negotiating the resale of stolen cars for the Russian Bratva. One night, Dominik meets Leah Hart, while trying to steal her car. Flustered, he winds up kidnapping her, not realizing who she is. This is the first book I have read in this series, but I loved it. The characters and story were very entertaining. I will be looking up the three previous books in the series; highly recommended

Suspense! This book is a real page-turner. From the very start, I was on the edge of my seat. I am utterly in love with Dominik and Leah alike. The character building was impeccable. The story is filled with secrets to be uncovered and unexpected twists. The sparks igniting made me feel warm all over. Steamy, passionate, spirited. What's not to love?

Oh, the Popov Boys! I'm really liking the character development, not only of the 'focused' characters (in this case, Dom & Leah ~ whose story rang true-to-life in that he truly sees the 'real' Leah, while others only see the performer) but also the ancillary stories of how the brothers/cousins/friends grow, too, with babies and children and homes ~ they've come a long way from the bachelor days of the beginning of Book 1! ~ I can't wait to see which Popov Boy Ms Georgeson chooses to focus on next!

This story focuses on Dominik and Leah, two complete opposites. One lives in the shadows and seems to operate only in darkness while the other thrives in the light. While on a heist Dominik has a wrench thrown in his plans when the owner of the car he is boosting jumps in and goes along for the ride. Each has secrets that could easily get them into trouble or end a career. Dominik isn't one for getting attached to anyone but something about this woman is making him want to break that rule. Will these two end up with a happily ever after or will they try to ruin one another? Now that I have read at least two books in this series I plan on going back to read the rest. I really do dislike when I read books that are part of a series but I started at the end, haha. Granted this can be read as a stand alone.
You won't feel lost as the author has written the books in such a way that they all tie together but you don't have to read the others to get any back stories. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

If you want to read an excellent mafia/bravta romance, here you go. This book definitely checks all the boxes. The author has done an impeccable job by giving the reader everything you can ask for and more. Simply addictive. Dominick has met his match and an extreme thorn in his side with Leah.

Wow. This was the perfect mix of dramatic, emotional, loving, exciting, dangerous, and relatable. Read this book! This is the first book in this series that I have read, but I can’t wait to read the rest! This book is about Leah and Dominik. Leah is a pop country singer with a secret past nobody knows about, while Dominik is a part of the Bratva brotherhood, his mob-like family businesses. Dominik is a thief, but he stole the wrong girl’s car, or so he thinks. Read their story! It is exciting and you won’t be able to put it down! I loved Dominik and Leah’s story and I know you will too! It’s the perfect combination of action and romance.

This was my first book in the series and it was so good! This is a book that can be read as a standalone, but reading the previous books will give insight to who is who in this book. Leah has an authentic vulnerability that I just loved reading about and so did Dom towards the end. I was very excited to see the next book is about Adrik!
