Great read! I loved the premise; super unique. Wish there was more Vegas gambling and system cheating, lol. I was definitely rooting for Carson the whole—he was a good guy.

I really enjoyed this book. Finished it in two sittings. A fun, quick, read that pays homage to one of my favorite cities—Las Vegas.

Relatable characters, and a thrilling plot kept me turning page after page to find out what would happen next.

Drew Karpyshyn is my favorite author, so I was very excited to support his first self-published work. While I can easily say it is the weakest of his works (that I've read) it still has his very unique signature. His prose feels like a conversation, it flows so easily for me as a reader and the world building in this book is so well done. Clearly there is a love and dedicated research for the culture and geography of Las Vegas. Doctor Singh also makes a great villain from the very prologue. Unfortunately the cast blends togethether and the plot is a bit too simple. Not to mention a couple continuity errors that threw me off (did 8 or 6 people die on D Street?). No regrets reading this, I consider it a valid piece of Karpyshyn's tapestry and I cannot wait for what is next.

As ever Drew's writing style flows off the page. Simple but effective premise. I particularly liked that it was a more personal story. Drew continues to be one of my very favourite authors.

Really fun read! I enjoyed the characters, the setting was fun, the sci-fi aspects were thought out well and were interesting.
