I enjoyed this novella so much that I read this in one sitting! The story building and character building was amazing. I could feel Logan's emotions for his mom and his drive to seek revenge as if they were my own. I think Tala Moore is now on my list of favorite authors :).

I loved this so much! The Hunter falls for his prey. Classic. A great quick-read novella. It is very fast pace, no bs, and oh so satisfying. This is the first book I’ve read by Tala Moore and im so excited to start her other A Forever Mates series! If you’re new like me, I’d recommend you read Hunted Wolf first. You truly get a good feel for her writing style and storytelling before you commit to a trilogy.

For a novella, I’m surprised at how much I liked Logan and Cassie. Only 96 pages and I’ve liked them so much more than couples in books 5 times that size. Now that’s saying something, right? Size doesn’t matter as long as you know how to utilize it. Tala Moore you’ve gained a fan!

Logan has been planning his revenge on Alpha Silas to avenge his deceased mother. He just has one last piece to his plan, Cassie. Silas is looking for her and Logan has been hired to retrieve her. Just what he needs to complete his revenge. But her scent is captivating and he wants her. Logan needs to decide what is more important, avenging his mother or the new woman that’s enchanting him.

I would recommend Hunted Wolf to anyone who wants a paranormal quick read. If you like wolf shifters, drama, troubled MMC, FMC on the run, revenge, ironic twists, fated mates, spice, you’ll love Hunted Wolf. No triggers to report. This book does contain gore and unaliving. For the shifter romance readers this one is for you!

An Action-Packed, Steamy, Shifter Romance Novella!!

Hunted Wolf is about Cassie, a normal human woman who has been witness to something supernatural she shouldn't have been and is now being hunted for it, and Logan, a shifter and bounty hunter laser-focused on his well-deserved revenge.

These two first meet when Logan is hired to bring Cassie to the Alpha whom she had witnessed killing someone in his wolf form. The Alpha had hired a few people to bring her to him but she was, in his words, "slippery and smarter" than they thought. Logan is a great bounty hunter and knew he could get her in no time. The problem? Just her scent is enough to make him crazy. He tries to fight the insatiable hunger and attraction to Cassie, but we all know how that goes.

This was a super fun and short read that can be read in one sitting. It's in dual 1st person pov.
In this book we get, insta-lust/insta-love, denial of feelings, a really good smexy scene, a revenge trope, contradicted feelings, a good amount of action, quick groveling, and an epilogue (5 years later).

Hunted Wolf is a complete standalone novella, but it is part of The Forever Mater series/world. I'd never read from this author before, but I certainly will now. 100% recommend!!

Logan has been planning revenge against the man who rejected his mother after she became pregnant with him and he became alpha of his wolf pack all those years ago. So he went to work for Silas so that he could enact his revenge by killing him. What could go wrong with his plan? Silas hires Logan to and find Cassie because she had saw him shift from wolf form to human form and kill someone. So he tracks her down using her necklace that hasher scent on it which smells of honeysuckle dancing in the warm breeze of afternoon summer with hints of lavender, rosewater and a whisper of citrus mixed into it. Once he finds her he ends up taking her to a motel they get a room and he ends up seducing Cassie. Well the morning after he starts to feel bad about everything and runs into the bathroom to think and once he’s there he realizes that she is his mate because when he saw his eyes in mirror he knew that he was mated and had to do he had to protect her. But will she believe that he is there to protect her or will she think that he is there to kill her? What will happen? Does Logan ever get his revenge for his mother’s death or will he end up choosing to save his mate? I guess you will have to read this amazing book to find out for yourself. I received this as an ARC for my honest opinion and I honestly loved it. I would definitely recommend that you read book.

Logan was after the man who rejected his mother after she became pregnant and he became alpha, so he went to do a job for Silas to take him down. Was told to find Cassie because she had seen him kill someone and them turning from wolf to human. He found and seduced her after he realized that she was his but when he saw his eyes he knew that he was mated and had to do his best to tell her everything after she had seen him change. They came up with a plan after she realized that he wasn’t lying, Silas had been watching them Logan went to meet Silas to give him his money back and said she was dead. Silas’s men got her and brought her there so Logan challenged Silas but then Silas cheated so Logan told him who he was to Silas. Became alpha and didn’t use fear or blackmail to make his pack do things. Good book!.

Really enjoyed this book. I liked Cassie and Logan grew on me. I'm looking forward to the next book. 5*.

3.5 stars. Logan, the male wolf shifter lead, was raised as a lone wolf because his father forced his mother out of their pack when he found out she was pregnant. Determined to avenge his mother’s death, Logan takes on a bounty Hunter job to retrieve Cassie, the female human lead, planning to use her as a distraction so he can kill his father. Then he finds out she’s his mate…

This novella is dual POV, and introduces an interesting shifter world. I enjoyed Logan’s changing perspective on what was important in life. I enjoyed Cassie’s grit and determination to survive and, later, to assist Logan’s survival. I enjoyed their relationship development.

Told in dual POVs, Hunted starts off with Logan, a lone wolf bounty hunter. He’s set on a path for revenge and is currently hired to find a human woman who saw something she wasn’t supposed to. Problem is, he’s attracted to her scent as soon as he smells it, and when he sees her the first time he is barely able to control himself.

Hunted is a super cute novella. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novella. If you are looking for any of the above tropes, you should give this book a try.

A fast-paced shifter story

If you enjoy shifter romances with fast paced action, a good story and forever mates this will not disappoint.

Logan is a lone wolf working on getting revenge for his mum and has finally got close to his goal. He just needs to find a girl who will be his bargaining chip to get Silas to confess to his crimes. Unfortunately on scenting the girl his wolf starts to have other ideas.

Cassie was on a run when she came across a pack of wolves attacking another. When she realised she'd seen something she shouldn't have she knows she isn't safe, but when she meets Logan she doesn't want to run from him.

This was a short but sweet read. This is Logan and Cassies story. It starts with bounty hunter wolf shifter Logan planning revenge against his ruthless alpha father Silas Beaumont. Cassie is a human caught in the middle when she sees something she shouldn't have. Silas wants her dead so he hires Logan who at first sees Cassie as a means to get his revenge. But she soon becomes much more. Will Logan and Cassie survive their ordeal with Silas. Will Logan get his revenge and subsequent happy ending. Guess you will have to check out this story to find out.

Logan has been planning revenge against Silas for a while now. When he is sent to get Cassie, he sees his chance to get it. However, when he meets her, nothing goes according to plan. Cassie is running because she knows that what she saw is going to kill her. Logan realizes that Cassie is his mate and things get complicated. Will he go through with his plan? What will Cassie do when she learns why Logan is with her?

This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I do enjoy a good paranormal romance, and this story has all the elements required to make it a favourite: a sexy lone wolf, a hot insta love, a good dose of suspense, and a HEA. I was totally rooting for Logan and Cassie to survive their ordeal!
I read this book in one sitting as it was that good and am now looking forward to reading others in this series.

Short read, but it kept you wanting to see what happens. Logan has been planning Sila's death for years. When Silas gives him a job to track done a girl he is surprized. Cassie is out running when she comes across a murder now she is on the run. What will happen when Logan catches her? Will die by his hands or Silas hands?.

Hunted Wolf is addictive from the moment you read the book.
Logan has a specific mission that changes radically when he meets Cassie, who becomes involved in a world she never believed existed.
The connection between Logan and Cassie is perfect. They are burning passion.
Silas, I clearly hated him and that ending was the one he deserved.
Being a prequel, the book grabs you immediately and I look forward to seeing these two characters in this world again.

This is good "Forever Mates" story that is fairly short and quick to read. that is fast paced with plenty of action. The hunter falls for the hunted in this paranormal read. The story is about Logan and Cassie. He is seeking revenge for this mother. Cassie is the ticket to getting his revenge but what he does not count on is what comes next. This is a good story with passion, love and strong likable characters.

Logan was on a path for Revenge against his biological father. His father had rejected his mother Lina basically sentencing her and her unborn child to a solitary life. And it's hard to get revenge he became a bounty hunter and was hired by his biological father. That is how he meets Cassie who ends up being his one true mate. He eventually makes the choice to choose love over Revenge.

If this is how the rest of the series is gonna go, I’m not gonna get sleep for the next couple days while I go binge the entire series. Absolutely in love with this world already I get that this is just a small taste so far but I absolutely loved Logan and Cassie! It’s everything I wanted in a short shifter story… And who doesn’t love an epilogue like that?!? I think Tala Moore is my new favorite PNR author!

Hunter falls for his prey, who happens to be human. Logan goes after Cassie as part of his revenge plot, but things do not go as planned for anything. He never expected her to be his mate and he is still supposed to provide her to be able to follow through on his plot. Silas is a very bad guy.

This is a fabulous novella. The wolf that the author manages to portray in such few pages is truly astounding. I love their take on werewolves, their society, and their mating process. The characters grab your heart and don’t let go. The wrap up at the end was perfect. This is a great story and I can’t wait to read more.
