Follow Jodeci on a wild ride as she tries to escape toxicity, heal, and relearn love in a healthy way.
I'm so glad my girl got pushed in the arms of a real one cause if not she would still be in the same cycle trying to figure put what she was doing wrong and UT wasn't even her it was his sorry behind men always lose a good thang then want it back nah babyyyy we good over here great book they moat definitely saw the grass wasn't greener on the other side bless was good for her and Marco moat definitely was good for star crazy butt lol
Oh my God,this book kept me so deep it had lots of realistic drama ,I love the love scenes while reading I was drawn into the story it felt like it was me. I can't put into words how I truly enjoyed it can't wait for the next one. love, Love, LOVE this book.
First time reading something by this author and I was impressed. The story was good, even with Jodeci irking my nerves in the beginning. She was really a push over and Quincy was definitely not worth the drama. I love how Star was a diehard friend and didn’t pull any punches. I’m glad Jodeci finally wised up and let a real man love her.
First time reading a book by this author and will not be the last. I love how the story was realistic at the same time so many little nuggets. When memaw tried to warn Jodeci about Quincy. I also like how raw Star was, she was a true friend and only wanted the best for JoJo. I’m glad both girls found their happiness.
I enjoyed reading Jodeci and Bless’s story. Jodeci made bad choices in men that followed her into her new relationship. There was some drama that kept my eyes glued to the pages. If you’re like me and long books intimidate you, this one won’t disappoint. This book is almost 500 pages long, but the chapters are short and weaved effortlessly. The time just flew by during my smooth sailing read. I loved the ending because I really wanted to see how everything would play out. No relationship is perfect. The steamy scenes were on fire, and even their petty arguments were cute. I will be reading Too good to let go next.
This book started off good and then turned really dark. I almost gave up but I’m glad I didn’t. Star was funny as hell, and Bless was really that dude. I have definitely been in Jodeci’s shoes so I glad she got her HEA!!! Well done!
Quincy is a boy playing a man's game. He didn't realize the diamond that he had in Jodeci because he was chasing the easy tail. Bless knew how to spot a real one & show her how a MAN treats his woman. Star is a great friend
I've enjoyed reading this book. I received a really good vibe reading this. The friendship between besties Jodeci and Star is wonderful. Bless and Marco are best friends also. When they decide to couple up that's the good vibe. It was a pleasure reading your books 🥰. I'm looking forward to reading more 🤩.
Wow! The keyword here is FLOW! This story flowed sooo smoothly... sooo sweetly! And it GLOWED LOVE!!! LOVE is the answer for all of Us!!! And De'Andrea reminds Us of this TRUTH with Jodeci & Bless!! I have found a new favorite pentress!!! Yezzzz D!!! YEZZZZ!!!🦋🥰📚💃🏾🎊
De'Andrea, good read. I think this read was so good for men and woman. To see what happens when you give yourself to the wrong person. It's true though until you learn to love yourself and teach people how to treat you nothing will change. JoJo was such a loyal girl, she just had to hit rock bottom to climb out on top. Quincy was such a terrible person, there's no excuse for his actions only that he did whatever he did because it was allowed. Everyone should have a friend like Star. She gave it to JoJo raw and unapologetic. I was so glad she loved JoJo forever. Now, thank you for Bless, he is a true example of love, understanding, trust and just what a man is. A great read.🤗🤗🤗🤗
This was my first book by this author so I wasn't sure what to expect but this was a really good read! This was a fast read even though it was over 400 pages. It was easy to get into and I read it in one day.
Bless was my kinda man! He knew what he wanted and went after it. Star was HILARIOUS so you know I'm going to read her book next! Jodeci made a lot of stupid mistakes in the beginning so I'm glad she got it together.
Overall, it was definitely a book I'd recommend and I will be checking out more of the authors catalog.
This book right here had me yelling in the beginning. I kept saying she stupid!!!! Jodeci worked my nerves in the first half of this book. She was a fool for Quincy for no reason. I was so happy when she left him for good and then enter Bless. Bless was a such a good man and he was so patient with her. He didn't play about her even before they made things official and I loved that for her. Her bestie was a true friend and always kept it real with her even though she didn't listen. This was a good read and I will read more from this author.
Jodeci's boyfriend of six years was a real dawg! But sometimes in life, you can't see the forest for the trees, then you eventually wake up... in the hospital after being unconscious for two days! It should not take all of that to finally push you "Into The Arms Of A Real One!"
Read this book in one setting. I enjoyed the love that blossomed between Bless and Jodeci. Quincy took my girl through it but all it took was a real one to come along and show her how it done. Memaw meant well but she got on my nerves. Loved Star down, the true definition of a friend. Overall good read.
