Another fun little cozy mystery to help me with my French studies. The story was so engaging that toward the end, I lost patience with trying to discern what I was hearing and just read along with Audible to see how it ended! So much for focusing on my listening comprehension. . .

Another delightful murder mystery in French! My neighborhood French class used it as our text and our teacher used phrases and words from each chapter to enhance our knowledge of usage and grammar. France Dublin centered this story in a Paris apartment building near the Sacre Coeur Basilica in Montmartre Within the framework of the story, we learned about inheritance law of Paris apartments , ideal spots to grow mushrooms, and Hermes scarves. Such a fun way to learn French or keep fluent!

I have now read all 3 books in this murder mystery series and I have loved all of them. The book is well written and at a suitable level for upper beginners. These books standout amongst other beginner books because they are written for adults and have some geniunely funny moments.

These are cute and short and are just the ticket to get me back in the habit of reading in French before I try to tackle bigger books. This one gets four stars for introducing me to the word "pénispliquer."
