Invite Only

I was just a dancer trying to put herself through her final semester of college.
I didn't ask for my ethics professor to be hotter than hell, or for him to be the same guy who'd paid for a private dance two weeks before the start of classes.
Fate really was a bitch sometimes.

thank you Octavia for the arc, this book releases january 2nd!

ever wonder what would happen if an ex rockstar turned professor meets a dancer at a club, just for her to end up being his student the upcoming semester?👀

this book was such a gem, just like all the other books in this series. it was a fun and quick read, no complaints from me

the chemistry between Quentin and Nova??? right off the bat was just sexy as hell😩
the spice? top tier as always
if there’s one thing about this series, it is always guaranteed amazing spice

side note but seeing all the Stag brother’s interact is always such a treat

oh and just casually throwing this one out there….OCTAVIA, I WILL LITERALLY GET ON MY KNEES AND BEG TO GET ROMAN’S BOOK EARLY, ALL THE LITTLE CRUMBS WON’T BE HOLDING ME OVER UNTIL MARCH🧎🏾‍♀️

3.5 ⭐️ but all the 🌶️

Tropes:
- age gap
- forbidden
- student x teacher
- stripper
- pleasure Dom

The will they/won’t they vibes had me DYING for Nova and Q to get together, and then once they finally did the story turned into an all out love fest. I was really hoping that with his position as a professor that there would have been more drama because of their unethical relationship, but hope.

Overall it was good, the spice was excellent, just wanted more from it.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is only the second book in the "Eleven" series that I've read, but I really enjoyed it. All of these books are on the shorter side, which makes them perfect to ingest in between some of my longer and heavier reads.

Invite Only follows Nova (an exotic dancer & student) and Quentin Stag (a former rockstar turned ethics professor). Following an epic one night together at the club Nova works at, they discover that now their relationship has to change. Because he's her professor ladies and gentsssss.

I love the relationship between Q and his brothers. The Stag Bros really are a riot and a half. Nova was such a strong willed woman and she wasn't going to take anything laying down. I really liked her as a FMC and I need more of those in my books.

Overall this one was a win for me and I'm very intrigued by Rome's book.

I'm enyjoing the mind of Octavia Jensen, very much so! 🔥

Quentin, one of the Stag twins, has left the ban to be an ethics professor, who has broken the ethics rules to find himself a woman of his dreams, which turns out to be an exotic dance, but also his student, Nova. I like this series because it combines both the relationship development and copious amounts of smut. The first two brother's stories were definitely that but I have to say, I didn't see much relationship development between these two, unfortunately.

They had a decent amount of spice scenes, with some fun additions, but nothing as fun as Harrison's book and they centered around the teacher/student taboo, even with the roleplay. 🌶️

All in all, it wasn't a bad book, but I don't enjoy the smut that much when there isn't an established connection between the characters and I was missing it in this one.

Every single one of you should be reading this series. It is easily one of my favorites of the entire year. I’m obsessed with these spicy forbidden romance stories about the kinky and domineering Stag brothers. Invite Only is absolutely amazing and focuses on Rockstar turned college Ethics Professor, Quentin (Q) and his student (and sassy sex worker), Nova.

Before the start of the new semester, Q and his twin brother, Roman, go to a strip club to let off some steam. Q sees Nova and the two have an instant connection. You can feel their chemistry immediately. Nova invites him to come back another night so they can have a spicy encounter in a different (wink wink) part of the club. They are both surprised/taken aback/disappointed on the first day of classes to find out that their relationship has now shifted to include the titles “professor” and “student.”

Nova is one of my favorite heroines of this series. She is unapologetically herself and absolutely hilarious. Her inner monologue and snappy remarks had me dying. Nova does not have a tragic backstory or daddy issues. Our girl is a sex worker because she enjoys dancing and pleasuring men. She is not afraid to take what she wants and she wants Q.

I loved Q’s inner struggle. Seeing Nova on the first day of classes absolutely shook him to the core. He has worked so hard to get to where he is and sleeping with a student would ruin everything. Of course the forbidden nature of their relationship only builds tension. It makes the moments where they give in even hotter. There is a scene in his classroom with a belt that will absolutely live in my head rent free. Also, Q has sexy piercings which is always fun to read about. This book is seriously so freaking hot.

The banter in this book is really funny. Not just between Nova and Q, but also between the brothers, especially Q and his trainwreck of a twin, Roman. I love the brothers’ relationship so much. Like his brothers, Q is also kinky (pleasure dom). I love the openness and frank discussions that the brothers have to support each other. The importance of consent is also highlighted throughout the book.

To say that I’m excited about Roman’s story is a giant understatement. I am absolutely salivating for it based on what we’ve learned about him so far.

While we wait for Roman, you should make sure you are caught up on the rest of the Stag brothers’ stories. If you haven’t already, start with the novella, 11 Hours.

This book was steamy as fuck. I loved the dynamic between Nova and Q (because I have no idea how to spell his name). Definitely a fast and fun read, I liked Roman the most even though it wasn’t his book.

TW / CW - sex work, role playing, breath play, belt play, spanking, toys, mentions of whips, D/s dynamics
Tropes - professor / student, novella, erotica, forbidden, age gap (21F 30M)

I loved it 🤷🏽‍♀️. I love the Stag brothers and getting Q's story was *chef's kiss*.

The rockstar turned ethics professor finds himself in a real ethical dilemma when he meets and exotic dancer who he later finds out is a student in his intro to ethics class. They try to do the right thing but they drawn to each other in a way neither of them have ever experienced before. What is the ethical thing to do considering they knew each other before the introduction of the power imbalance?? We defo get to hear both sides when Professor Stag brings up the very topic as a debate question in his class 💀.

I'm very excited to read Roman's story 👀

Holy freaking crap, this book was flipping fantastic!!! I didn’t realize how much I missed this world until I started reading this, but Quentin and Nova’s love story was everything I could’ve dreamed of and more. I don’t normally read the professor/student trope, but this one was amazing and totally knocked it out of the park!!! I adored Quentin and Nova, both individually and as a couple. I loved the whole concept of an ex rockstar turned professor who meets a gorgeous exotic dancer and falls hard, not realizing that she would become his student. I loved Quentin because even though he took charge most of the time, consent was super important to him - he would’ve stopped immediately had Nova asked him to. I also loved the way he always tried to take care of her, even if it was something as simple as doing her seatbelt for her. And Nova!!! I admire Nova for her sassy personality, smart aleck comebacks, and all around compassionate nature. 5 freaking stars!!!

Professor Q 🥵 where do I even begin…

The way that this man was absolutely FERAL for Nova.. I mean he was one step away from stalking her. &I’m not even slightly mad about it😂 then you throw in the taboo aspect of student/teacher, stop it! I’m in love😍

Quentin Stag, twin to Roman Stag, is a pleasure dom, through and through. If you do not get yours, he WILL NOT get his. I don’t want to give any spoilers, because I just think that you should read this and experience it for yourself.. but just know, this man will stop at nothing to give you what you need😉

Octavia, you’ve done it again.. gave me another Stag brother to love. I’m so thankful for the arc! I can’t wait to read Roman’s book, which is next! I just have a feeling he’s going to bring the mayhem.

Please check your triggers before picking this up. All books in this series are high on k!nks and there are content warnings at the front of each book for a reason!

Please also note that this is an interconnected book, meaning you will need to read the others before enjoying this one. You will absolutely not be disappointed if you do, and you will fall in love with the other brothers just as I have♥️

This will release on January 2nd, and will be available on Kindle Unlimited! 💕

We love a taboo trope over here.

Professor/student? Yeesssssss
Exotic dancer/former band member? Ugh gimme!

I really enjoyed how Nova didn’t change or try to change herself for Q. And I’m turn Q didn’t ask her to. She was a dancer before him and wasn’t ashamed of it either. I love how authors are bringing s3x work to the front and helping normalize it.

The push and pull? So good while it lasted lol but I’m glad we didn’t have to go 70% of the book to get our couple.

The spice?! 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 holy flamingo Batman. So gooood.

🍆 piercing? Uhyup we gots it.
🍑 play? Yessir
👅 piercing? Mhmmmmmmm
Some light BDSM? You know it.

Roman? I need his book!

I was lucky enough to be blessed with an arc. But honestly I knew this would be fire just like all this authors other books.

Read it.

When I finished Sin Sessions I was so utterly in love with Ethan, I was sure no other Stag brother (or man, for that matter) would ever compare.
*Enters Quentin in his professor’s sweater, colorful tattoos and Prince Albert stage left*
DUDE. This guy does EVERYTHING. Pleasure Dom? Check. Cat Dad? Check. Rockstar? Check. Smart AF? Check. Utterly respectful of s3x work and women’s bodies? Check.
Of course the girl who would get his heart forever would be an absolute badass as well. I love Nova, she’s strong, talented, smart, hard working and takes absolutely no shit from anyone.
This book was delicious to read, their relationship was delicious to read. There’s no dirty talk: there’s DIRTY CHAT. They both have delicious mouths. The spice is incredible, kinky af, impossible to read holding the Kindle with both hands. Unless you have one of ~those~ panties that do the stuff for you, LOL.
Anyway. This series was of the best findings this year. I’m not ready for the last book (oh Roman, baby, it will be hard for you, but I’m confident in your abilities). Octavia, please, we need a 30 year jump in time and the stories of the sons next, please and thank you.
10/10 reccomend.

I’ve become obsessed with this novella series, this one is definitely my favourite so far. I adored Quentin, he’s so funny and sweet and also unbelievably hot in bed.

He’s also a pleasure dom and needs to give her pleasure but also take care of her as well.

Nova was hilarious and sassy and I loved her so much they were a perfect pairing.

Read this series I highly recommend it!

This was only 200 pages yet it felt like 500. I'm honestly kinda disappointed given how I enjoyed Sin Sessions alot. While the smut definitely delivered, there was no conflict or urgency and frankly this was really boring. Nothing was super interesting about this book.

⚠️Check triggers⚠️

Nova is an exotic dancer at Eternal Paradise where there are two sides, Heaven and Hell, to the club. She's performing in Heaven when she sees Quentin watching her perform. She's immediately struck by him, as he is with her, so she invites him to visit her in Hell where anything goes. They have a steamy time together and it's clear they both want more, but Quentin tells Nova he can't come back for awhile. Nova is disappointed and convinced she'll never see him again. That is until she shows up to her first ethics class and finds out Quentin is her professor. Things get steamy and these two cannot stay away from one another.

This is hands down my book in the series so far. I thought Ethan would be my favorite Stag brother until the end, but Quentin is easily my favorite. He's caring, sweet, smart, and so hot (did I mention he has a 🍆 piercing? 👀). I loved how he took care of Nova without smothering her or trying to take over. He would help buckle her seat belt after helping her in the car, have her favorite drink for her at his place even though she never mentioned it being her favorite (he just KNEW 😍), or make sure to walk with her at night during a competition so she was safe. Quentin never tries to change Nova. He understands that Nova's a strong woman who knows what she wants out of life and he loves her the way that she is.

Nova is by far my favorite heroine in the series and I have the biggest crush on her. She was funny, strong, smart, and wasn't afraid to admit what she wanted. I love that she's proud of being a dancer and a sex worker, and she didn't let people try to shame her. Nova made me laugh throughout this story with her inner thoughts, her banter with Quentin, and the way she interacted with Roman. As much as Quentin took care of her, she equally took care of him. She made Quentin feel loved and helped him process through his feelings about missing music. She made it clear she would support whatever decision he decided as long as he was happy.

Quentin and Nova are a perfect couple. They have instant chemistry that left them wanting more from one another. I loved how they flirted with one another. Their spicy scenes were so hot, especially the role playing and sneaking around. The belt scene in the classroom 🥵

I'm excited for Roman's story, but also so sad we'll be saying bye to the Stag men 😔

Thank you to Octavia for the early copy in exchange for an honest review!

𝙄𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙮 is a story about Quentin and Nova. We have briefly met Quentin in the previous books as on of the twin brother rockstars, but he has since become a college Ethics professor. Before starting his job he decided to go a strip club one last time and there he meets Nova. Fast forward to the first day and she’s one of his students. Mind blown!!! I did NOT expect that!!

The chemistry between these two is EVERYTHING! The way that Quentin cares for Nova and how he was willing to take the risk to be with her is just amazing. And also the fact that he is a Pleasure Dom 😈. So you will definetly be in for a treat with this one! I love the fact that Quentin is so supportive of Nova and what she does for work! It is one of my favorite things about the book!

If you haven’t started reading this series yet, you need to do it NOW!!!

3.5⭐ rounded down.

This book had some tropes of my favourite tropes and there it kept my interest until like 70% then I was half skimming the pages/half reading to make sure I took everything in.

If this book had less sex (they get each other off every single time they have an interaction outside of class), and more connection maybe I'd rank it higher.

He's supposed to be a "pleasure Dom" but apart from being upset that he didn't make her come at the beginning, you barely get any of this insight. Not enough detail.

I didn't like the use of modern slang and terminology. Two examples:
- "Send me a Snapchat of him later."
- "Are you gonna keep being emo?"

Got confused when Roman gave Nova Quentin's phone number and she thought it was him. But at page 82, she knows it's been Quentin the entire time even though I don't recall the book telling us she found out?

Quentin adding Nova's mum on Facebook just to see baby photos of Nova didn't make entire sense either.

1. Nova's parents are hardly mentioned, we don't even hear her talking to them so unless Nova's mum just loves to accept strangers on Facebook?

2. The mum accepts the request and he only tells the fmc after they've had sex (again). It's not brought up otherwise.

Still wondering why the parents were perfectly okay allowing the fmc to be a stripper from her 18th birthday until the last chapter.

The next part...

They're watching the show and Roman is talking to the main characters but then Quentin goes "the way he pushed his boner down scared me" - that's your twin brother!!

Well hello Professor Stag. Holy Hades this book is so hot!! I was reading wide eyed and panting. It was my thing that's for sure!! I loved every dirty minute of it!!

The characters are on point. I loved Q and the banter between his brother was awesome. The relationship with Q and Nova was amazing. The chemistry was frickin blazing. I really felt they were meant for each other!

What I really liked was that this book was body and sexuality positive for women. Nova knew what she was good at and what made her feel good about herself and made no apologies for it. All I have to say about that is: YES QUEEN! You really stop and think about what is right and moral and how it's not as simple as we think.

The spice was next level hot for me. The scenes were so epic in this they made me quiver. Check this book out if you like your D0m a little softer and an FMC who is unapologetically who she is. Definitely worth the read!

“‘Can I mark you, Professor? I want to see it on Tuesday. I wanna listen to you teach us about ethics with my teeth marks on your neck.’”

Listen, if my ethics professor was as hot as Q sounds…I would’ve been way more eager to wake up at 8am and walk across campus for class.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE a professor x student romance. The angst and sneaking around are so much fun but I do get anxious. This was, as usual Octavia, spicy as hell. Quentin (Q) & Nova were unbelievably hot together. Their chemistry began immediately and there was no way they were fighting that.

Q is an ex-rockstar turned ethics professor who has one last hooray before the semester starts at a strip club where he meets his Angel, aka Nova. They have instant chemistry and Q says he can’t see her again but doesn’t explain why. Next thing we know, Q is calling roll for his ethics class and who’s a student? His Angel, Nova.

I loved how the fact that Q was an ethics professor allowed Octavia to explore the ethics of a relationship where one party has power/authority over the other in the form of a classroom debate. I also really loved how Nova & Q were so sex work positive and Q didn’t once shame Nova for being an exotic dancer.

Also, squealed with excitement over the cameos from other Stag brothers and their ladies.

Thank you, Octavia for the ARC! Once again I’m blown away by the writing, characters and story. I cannot wait for Roman (Q’s rockstar twin brother) to get his story told next.

I loved reading about Quentin Stag and his angel Nova. All of the books are well written, and I like how each character is different and still holds your attention.

Quentin Stag is a complicated man. A former musician in a band, he left the music scene to pursue his other passion teaching Ethics at a college. When he comes to a night club with his twin brother, he encounters Nova and is smitten. However, he’s promised himself that he won’t get involved with anyone during the semester, much less a dancer. Nova is in her last semester of college, and working at the club pays her way through school. This is a temporary job until she can graduate and start her career. Though there’s an attraction, Quentin and Nova have one hot encounter and didn’t think they would see each other again. When she shows up in his ethics class, they have to figure out whether or not they should pursue each other, or step aside as ethics might dictate in their role as professor and student.

I really enjoyed reading their POVs. It didn’t drag on, it was entertaining, and it really reveals two characters who are clear in what they want, but held back due to some their circumstances. I like how accepting they are of each other, and how they really support the other’s work and circumstances. As with all the Stag brothers, Quentin is irresistible, pleasure dom who only wants to make Nova feels good. I love that both Quentin and Nova so sexually free and hot for each other!

🌶🌶🌶🌶

This is my first book by Ms Jensen and I’m glad I read it. This can be read as a stand-alone without missing the previous books in the series. But this has spiked my interest and I will be reading the previous stories in this series.

It is a story of how love can be found in unexpected places. I love how Nova owned who she was and how proud she was of her job.

The romance between Q and his girl cannot be described. It is sweet and cringe worthy with Q raising the bars of book boyfriends.

This is a delicious, spicy read which will keep you turning page after page. You can not help but fall in love with all of the other characters who, even though have their own story, have been made to feel welcome in Q and Nova’s story.

I love Q for listening to his heart, defying the odds and going after what he wants. He is sweet, caring and romantic. Nova also deserves credit for standing up for herself and owning her belief. I just love the two of them together.

I love the play of words used by the author to describe Nova’s place of work. As I turned page after page, I kept wishing the author had a different climax for this story. It was surprising actually as I didn’t expect it.

I will recommend this book to lovers of contemporary romance and erotica.

I received an advanced copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving my review.

Another fantastic book in this series. These brothers are SO HOTTT! It's not fair how hot they all are. We had Harrison who was a total Dom, Ethan the sex therapist, and now Q who is a pleasure Dom. Can't wait to learn more about Roman.

So in this installment, we have Nova who is a college student who works as a stripper/escort(?). Her club is divided between a more conservative side (heaven) and a dirtier side (Hell). She meets Q in Heaven and invites him to hell. **things** happen and then they part ways. Q is devastated that he did not make her cum (... since he is a pleasure dom). Fast forward and it turns out she is one of his students in his college class where he is a professor of....... wait for it....... ETHICS (hahahahah). So in typical fashion, he pushes her away.

What I love most about Nova is her maturity and ability to love herself. She was so unapologetic about her profession and what she did for money. She never made it feel or sound dirty. It was beautiful.
On the flip side, Q never made her feel dirty for working there and didn't even ask her to stop stripping/working shifts in Hell.

I thoroughly enjoyed this quick book and continue to look forward to not only the end of this series but future works by Octavia Jensen.

I want an invitation!!

Holy smokes. “Invite Only” is the whole darn spicy thing. This is my first Octavia Jensen book & I am not kidding you when I say I want to stop everything and bury myself in her entire portfolio- starting with this Eleven series full of interconnected standalone books that follow the Stag brothers. This is book 5, and I haven’t read the first four (YET) and I wasn’t lost at all.

Drum roll please… up first we have our FMC, Nova. Nova is quick, witty & super sexy. She works hard and is no drama. Nola will have you singing all the words to “I'm N Luv (Wit a Stripper), by T-Pain. WE LOVE HER. Next we have Quinten “Q”, our MMC is a sexy tatted & PIERCED ex rockstar who also happens to be a client at the strip club Nova works at. WE LOVE HIM. Cue the instant inferno of sexual chemistry. But oh wait.. Q also happens to be a professor… & Nova…? Oh yeah a college senior enrolled in his ethics course. Ruh roh.

This book DELIVERED. Pure hot, smut infused, taboo perfection. Yep. If Quinten Stag is any indicator of how his brothers… ahem, perform. I know what I’m reading next! Have you read this book?! Let me know in the comments!

The fifth installment of this series is yet another scorcher. I believed Ethan was my favorite Stag brother, but Q (Quentin) just might have tied with him or squeaked past! So, first let me say Octavia seriously was NOT messing around when she wrote this. It started out hot and I thought it was maybe going to be a bit of a slow down until a little later, but just when I was expecting those brakes to bring the ride to a crawl there was a sudden drop. A dropping of my jaw. At that point she kept the surprises coming and it was INCREDIBLE!

The chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts. The push and pull, the angst, the explosive seggsy scenes was all cranked up and Octavia delivers a story that will have you turning page after page until you reach the end. I could have easily read it in a day because it's difficult to put down for long! DO yourself a favor and after you've read the prior novellas/books in this series dive in to this book! I will be re-reading it in the future.

I was put on to this series a couple of weeks ago and flew through Harrisons amazing novellas and the HOT Dr. Ethan Stag, - if you haven't read those what are you doing with your life?

With that being said I received Invite Only as an arc and this is my honest opinion,
Q is a twin and decided to leave the band he started with his twin to also become Dr. Stag and teach Ethics, before the semester so he can be a good boy he goes to strip clubs to practice just looking. Unfortunately he finds a beautiful angel he can't just look at. Nova is an amazing sex positive Exotic dancer who does it just for the love of dancing and the workout and it's paying for college without struggle so no harm? During her usual dance in the Heaven side of her club she sees 2 very hot alternative twins and one has his eyes locked only on Nova.
After their interesting night in Hell, he quickly realizes she's off limits because he has to teach her Ethics.

This book overall was so spicy and witty and sweet. I love Q and all his Dominant self, can't wait for a subby stag tho ;)
