Handle Me

Rate this book
I'd lived over half my life as the frontman for Stagnant Sky.
Nothing ever mattered to me but music and booze, and I was fine with that.
Chloe Torres shouldn't have been my undoing --- she was my bandmate's girlfriend and a raging pain in my ass, and yet... I found myself changing for her whether I wanted to admit it or not.
I was in deep.
I just didn't know what to do about it.

a man that whimpers>>

thank you Octavia for the arc!

when i was getting crumbs of roman and chloe’s dynamic in the previous book, i was excited to see how it would play out, knowing that all the stag brother’s are doms besides roman, and i was not disappointed

CHLOE FORGET ROMAN, IM RIGHT HERE BABE
aside from just having to handle rome (and his brattiness), chloe was a great addition to his support system, was so caring, and truly took her time with him

now for roman, my sweet little baby😭 i wasn’t prepared for how emotional his story would get! roman has plenty of emotional trauma that he deals with and has to face in the book, and boy did it hurt

overall i found this so be a wonderful close to the series, especially with seeing everyone together at the end, and i can’t wait to see what the author has in store!

There’s always a bittersweet taste when a dear series comes to an end (I think? Lol), and Eleven has definitely become a dear one last year.

Roman is the baby (born minutes after his twin, Q.), daddy’s favorite punch bag, the problematic obe, emo rockstar and only submissive among the brothers.

He has lots of problems with alcohol and every now and then ends up at the jail. So daddy dearest decides to hire someone to be his handler, and that someone turns out to be Chloe, his bandmate girlfriend.

Clo is pretty mean, specially when she hides his liquor, hence they live in a constant bicker. He calls her Devil Woman. Mas truth be told, Roman loves mean women and is already in love with her at the beginning of the book - and does a terrible job at hiding it.

But they form this kind of partnership and Clo really cares about him, she sees Ro is much more than the mess he makes and always stand up for him.

And start to realize they would be very compatible in other stuff. Like the fact that Ro is a brat who enjoys being rough handled, and Clo has a need for dominance that her current babe isn’t fulfilling.

This books touches more delicate themes than the previous, like the reason why Ro is how he is. I think it was very pretty the way Clo helps him and take a protective stance in the relationship. Ro is the more sensible guy in the family, he could only partner with a Latina so strong as Clo.

Also, I love the ideia of naming the chapters as real life songs - and creating a nice playlist!

Last, it shows a bit of the entire family’s happy endings, and I love the Stags so much. I hope Octavia jumps in time and write books about all those kids now. 😅

I loved how this focused on a different relationship dynamic. Roman struggles with identity issues because he essentially grew up without any parents, only his brothers. He is a rockstar who has an inferiority complex. Chloe is a strong, sassy woman hired to handle Roman on tour and the only one who can keep him in check, and Roman hates to love it. The problem is, she's his band mate's gf. Tension runs thick on the tour bus until it finally cracks.

“You’re going to be late.”
“Then help me out here. Say something mean.”
The way she bit her lip and took a step forward made me jerk. “Help you out? Why would I help such a desperate little slut?”
“Oh, fuck. Please, Clo. Fucking dying.”
“Beg,” she stood over me with a fire in her eyes I’d never seen before and I begged like it was the last thing I’d ever do. “Good boy.”

4 Stars for storyline 5 for Spice!

Can I just say that I absolutely love the Stag brothers. Every single book has been incredibly spicy and satisfying and I hope we get a next generation series.

As we know the Stags are doms... or at least all of them BUT Roman are. Roman is the baby of the bunch and the odd man out. He is talented, caring, protective, empathetic, and likes to be degraded.
Chloe is the perfect femme dom to give him what he needs. Only issue is she's already in a relationship with his best friend and bandmate.

I loved these two together. I love how Octavia presented us with a taboo situation and showed how it can be navigated with open communication and honesty. I appreciated that she addressed several of Roman's emotional issues and chemical dependencies and how a strong support system can make a difference. I enjoyed the interactions between all the brothers and their ladies, and even the little kids.

I'm not sure if this is the last book in the series, I hope that we get next generation series. But let me tell you this entire series is a a journey. And this particular book is heartfelt mixed with kink.

There is spitting, pegging, bondage, and lots of oral gratification.

" Think you can be a good boy for half an hour?
.. For her? Always."

"People couldn't hurt you if they didn't think you had a heart to break, but here I was, watching the last little piece of mine scar itself over with her name"

I think I've met my favorite stag. Roman stag, a complicated sweet emo boy, with parental baggage that requires a u-haul, faces his lack of self worth trying to catch and keep a woman who he will never feel enough for.

Leading up , I hope you read all the other hot stag men already, we've seen Dom after Dom - which you won't see a complaint from me.
However, we're finally getting our subby stag. Following the tour as his handler and bandmates girlfriend we meet Chloe. His match shot for shot on banter, tension, and domme energy he desperately needs and wants. Chloe is stuck needing to domme with a man who just sees it as emasculating .

Being stuck on a bus with tension and booze can be a dangerous thing for someone who just wants to be a good boy for a devil woman.

Reading this you get the domme energy you want, with praise and scooby snacks as a reward, and lots of spice. Hope you like butt stuff ;)

1 star! I shuddered every time she called him a brat. I enjoy it when women are domineering, but this particular instance made me shudder. I just didn't care for the story, and I'm pleased it's all done.

ARC REVIEW

Ugh. I don’t want this series to end!!! I’ve loved every single book in the 11 series - especially getting to have such in depth looks at the dynamics of each of the Stag brothers’ relationships.

Sweet Roman…so many areas of his story broke my heart but I loved his relationship with Chloe. Such a great ending to a wonderful series!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 🌶🌶🌶.5/5

TW / CW - cheating (with each other not on each other, once , a bit of OM drama, no OW drama, crude humour about suicide and murder, heavy drinking, mentions of drug use, death of a parent (mother, recounted), neglectful and verbally abusive parent (father, current), mental health, Domme/sub dynamic, spitting, degradation, praise, cop/criminal role play, anal, pegging

Tropes -novella, band, bandmate's girlfriend, mental health, possessive, cheating, forced proximity

I came for the smut and stayed for the plot.

If you read my review of Invite Only, then you know I was excited to read Roman's story and I was not disappointed. Roman is a tortured soul that just wants someone that won't give up on him or abandon him. He had daddy issues bigger than you could ever imagine and it is valid. I was mortified by the way their dad spoke to Roman in this book - literally couldn't believe it. I wanted to hug him so tight.

Roman is the only Stag brother who isn't a Dom but it defo tracks for him and his personality. I loved his relationship with Chloe and you could really tell it was something he needed; someone to ground him; someone who wouldn't give up on him. It was all very sweet and as usual, Octavia Jensen did not disappoint with the smut 👅

Oh my heart!! I fear I will ruin my reputation for being a hard a$$ with this review. I loved this book so much. I was so affected by Roman's story that I cried. I got to know Roman a little in Invite Only (also very good but not required to read) and even then I just wanted to hug him and tell him everything would be ok. I had more of that in this book.

No lie, Octavia is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I just seem to connect to her characters so much. I have a serious soft spot for misunderstood and tortured characters and this book really brought that out in me. Roman and Chloe were so wonderful. I really felt the need to jump in the book and protect them. They both have such a hard time being who they are and I really felt that.

The spice with them was sooooo goooood. It was also integral to the story so I won't give too much away but, it was hot and so different. Roman needed someone to make him realize how great he really is and Chloe needed someone to accept and love who she was, and they were exactly that for each other. She could quiet his chaos and he could delight in her k!nks. It is a beautiful thing.

I will miss the Stags for sure but the ending was so great. I'm so glad all the brothers got their happily ever afters. How they learned and grew and how they remained true to themselves and their woman was epic.

This book had a little darker subject matter and the emotions were high, but I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a damaged MMC and a fierce woman who can tame him and protect him.

Romanov Stag is a capital B.R.A.T, and I love him for it. This book was so freaking hot, but still had me in my feelings. It was sooo good! Handle Me is the much anticipated sixth book in the Eleven series about the k1nky Stag brothers.

Roman’s toxic jerk dad hired Chloe to keep him in line during his band’s current tour. We got a taste of Roman and Chloe’s dynamic at the end of Invite Only (book 5 in the series about Roman’s twin, Q). I really enjoyed watching the first nondominant Stag brother find love with Chloe, who has more BDE than all of Roman’s brothers combined (shhh don’t tell Harrison that I said that).

Chloe and Roman foiled each other so well. Chloe is order/organization and Roman is chaos. The spice in this book was top tier. I definitely learned some things about myself. Chloe is a d0mme, and this book had all kinds of fun things including degradation, spitting, and even p3gging. Roman also gives her one of the hottest bl0wies that I’ve ever read.

However, this book is so much more than the delicious spice. Roman had real trauma to work through before making things really work with Chloe. I love how she continued to support him and stand by him. She truly loves the perfectly imperfect human that he is. I also really love the camaraderie among the brothers and their partners. The strength of their bond shines throughout the series.

I highly recommend this book and the entire Eleven series! Go read it! Now, I’m gonna go reward myself with some Scooby snacks for finishing this review.

The band Stagnant Sky is complete and on their longest tour yet; with the youngest tattooed mess of a goofball Stag brother, Roman, [constantly] sassy-fighting with Chloe who is the girlfriend of his bandmate. Their chemistry is spiced up with their power and personality dynamics and culminates with ONE of them making a move and her becoming a free agent. The two continue to explore their connection, finding the perfect yin to yang balance in life and the bedroom; despite some bumps along the way.

He’s the only non-Dom in the Stag family and the exploration of that reversed dynamic and scenery was a pleasant treat to read. As well, the layering of his degradation and praise kink gives a lot of depth to Roman’s personality and why he is the way he is. Not only was that depth appreciated like icing to the cake in those steamy scenes, it points clearly to how Chloe fits him like the perfect piece to his puzzle. She is a strong resilient heroine that stands by her man despite his flaws and gives the story a wholesome messaging of how finding someone to love and who accepts you completely is a restorative action.

I really appreciate finding this author and her messaging of different ways “wholesome love” can be shown, despite whatever action is taking place, and the fundamentally strengthening support of the found family/actual family to help [you] weather the storm. It’s apparent in all of the books in the Eleven series, but with Roman’s personality and back story it hits a little differently, a good way. :)

She wanted me to be a good boy?
I’d be the fucking best.

This is an ARC review!
Handle Me releases March 6th 🖤

As the soul of Stagnant Sky, Romanov Stag always felt a lot of pressure to perform, write and create. To relieve this he appealed to alcohol, drugs and sex.
Chloe, Trace’s girlfriend, was hired to handle the rockstar.
But he wants her to handle him in more ways than one 🙃

I’m missing Stag brothers already!
Roman’s totally in love for Chloe from the beginning and I loved it!
The angst between these two was gasoline to their fire 🔥
Roman’s the only Stag brother that isn’t a dom.
Chloe and Roman are a match made in heaven: a woman that gets off in boss a man around and a man crazy about praise and degradation.
You can count with femdom, domme/brat dynamic, pegging, edging and more 🥵

This story has its dose of drama: Roman’s dad blames him for his mom’s death. In fact his dad is a piece of shit. That’s it.

In addition Roman’s relationship with Chloe is in its baby steps, but it’s great to read them bound for good.

And the epilogue 🥹 SO PERFECT
It warmed my heart ❤️ an excellent closure for this series.
(But I hope to see The Stags around, next generation maybe?🙃)

This book is part of Eleven series. But you can read it separately.

⚠️ Please check the triggers before reading!

Can’t believe this is the end 🥲

4⭐️ 3🌶️

The end of the Stag brothers is here, and man, did it go out with a bang 😮‍💨

Never thought that I would be into the sort of things that happened in this one (please look up content warnings), but Octavia has a way of making me like just about anything and everything.

Roman surprised me, actually. He was such a softie, and I loved that about him. He’s tortured, but he’s so sweet and has such a big heart.

Chloe really gives him a run for his money. She’s such a BA 😈 The tension was high between these two until it finally snapped, and it was so much fun seeing these two finally get together. The scenes between these two had me sweating. SWEATING. 🥵🥵

They had insecurities and personal life issues to work through, as any normal new couple would. I liked how they worked through them together. The ending threw me a little, cause it was the one time where they did not work through it together, and I wanted to shake Roman!!

This has been such an eye opening, amazing series to follow. I’m part happy and part sad that it’s over, but all great things must come to end. This book was such a great way to close the book on all of the Stag brothers!

What an ending to a fun and wonderful series!

I was so glad for Roman to finally have his turn! And let me tell you, there were some unexpected surprises I would have never known about the guy (but now feel I might want to go back to look at any clues in the previous books). Oh Roman, poor Roman has a lot going on with him beneath the surface. He may appear to be living it up with the life of a rock star, but it's just not all it's cracked up to be. He has an amazing family (well, his brothers) and possibly the worst relationship with his dad of all the boys. Chloe and he are so perfect for eachother, and really give one another what they need (both in and out of the b*droom). Roman has preferences that nobody has been able to fulfill, Chloe's preferences line right up with his (unlike her boyfriend, who has previously agreed to remain a couple until the tour is over, but it's a very bare bones arrangement where they mostly spend no time together). This story is a mix of sweet and spicy with some good old angst thrown in for good measure!

This is a story of healing and self discovery. It didn’t start with a bang like some of the author’s previous books but when you settle into it, you will see it for the jewel that it is.

Handle Me is the story of Roman Stag who we have met in previous books in this series. It was an eye opener reading his own story and understanding him a lot better than we did previously.

I love how the author showed Roman’s vulnerability and peculiarity. There was so much to highlight as I sped across the pages. Despite his gruff and bad boy exterior, Roman is an old soul who loves fiercely and is trying to pick himself up from the brokenness of the past.

I enjoyed the revisiting of other characters. It was like catching up with old and dear friends.

I enjoyed the banter and angst between Roman and Chloe and the explosion was delightful to read.

I received an ARC copy from the author and the review is entirely mine.

This series is so good, and honestly, there’s something for everybody (or every kink)! Handle Me is the last in this series (and that epilogue in the future was everything!), and focuses on Roman Stag and Chloe Torres. Roman is on tour with his band Stagnant Sky, and Chloe is the woman hired to “handle” him, as he’s pretty self destructive. Roman didn’t expect to like Chloe, especially since she’s his bandmate’s gf, so he’s pretty tortured on this tour knowing that he can’t have him. Their flirty relationship makes them both question their feelings, and it’s not long before they both combust.

I really liked how the author bring in information about Roman’s past to explain why he’s so destructive and angry and insecure. Chloe provides the perfect amount of love/care/tender feels and structure/dom vibes without making it motherly cause Roman has a lot of mommy and daddy issues. I’ve really enjoyed each of these series but also the author in general. Good writing and good plots all around.

I absolutely LOVED Roman and Chloe’s story so much and it was an amazing last book to this series!

Chloe is hired to be Roman’s handler during the tour to keep him out of trouble. He refers to her as “Devil Woman” because she keeps him in line. But Roman likes to be a good boy for Chloe 😏. When they both give in to those feelings, we are DEFINITELY in for a ride.

The way that Chloe cares for Roman and sticks by his side through everything he was going through was truly *chefs kiss.* I was definitely feeling those emotions during one scene, I was really feeling for Roman.

The sexual chemistry between Roman and Chloe was HOT 🥵. Roman loves being Chloe’s good boy ESPECIALLY in the bedroom 😉😏. The pegging scene 😮‍💨.

If you haven’t started this series yet you’re definitely missing out on the Stag brothers!

Oh. My. Gosh. Octavia Jensen has done it again! “Handle Me” is the last book in the Eleven series, and it was absolutely freaking fantastic. Roman and Chloe have a very unique relationship, but it’s one based on trust and love. I loved Roman because despite the charismatic and joking facade he puts on for the rest of the world, he truly is a different person underneath, and I’m really glad that Chloe was able to see past all of his masks. Chloe herself was an amazing character because of her fierceness, her fiery personality, the way she took nobody’s crap and the way she stood up for herself and those she cared about. I am absolutely obsessed with them, and this series in general. I can’t wait to see what the author writes next!!!

I've adored all the Stag men and Roman is just as gorgeous as his brothers. He carries a fair bit of hurt on his shoulders thanks to his father and in the past he has been off the rails at times.

But he's changed. He's in love. And Chloe is absolutely perfect for him. I really enjoyed their dynamic. She takes charge and he gives himself to her fully. The love and trust they shared in each other was lovely. It wasn't always easy though. There were some obstacles in their way.

I enjoyed getting a glimpse of the other brothers and their families. Handle Me is a fantastic end to a great series.

TL;DR: It was not half bad. Idk why I have not encountered many authors, other than Daisy Jane and Rhianna Burwell, who can write decent FemDom/Domme/SubMen, but it was not the worst thing I've read—so kudos, I guess.

I disliked how she kept calling him a Brat for literally anything—when it merited, yes, sure, he was a Brat in some instances, but did she really need to use it every single time she referred to him? That is absolutely not how the Brat/Brat-Tamer relationship works, but it was easy to overlook, I suppose.

Overall, I think it was a little bit boring—spicy scenes included. It was kind of overwhelming and I found myself trying to skip some parts because they were painfully slow, plot-wise; it also has to do with the fact that the Music Industry is not a topic of interest for me, especially the genres the book is about—and I also dislike the celebrity trope, so I am sure that this was a great book to people who like those sorts of things! Not for me, though. :)

Not my favorite, and wouldn't re-read, but I did not hate it. I think the BDSM scenes could have been better: he was trying to take control away from her, and I did not like that—and that is not the same as him being a Brat, more like he was not really letting her Domme him properly. Idk, I was bored and found myself dying for it to end, unfortunately. The family stuff was sad, with the Dad and the Mom, but that was about it. :) Overwhelmingly underwhelming.

Yes yes yes. That is all.

Just kidding.

This book? F!ng fantastic. Smoking hot. And ridiculously cute.

Roman? A freaking little submissive teddy bear. He was so cute and so flipping funny.

Chloe? I loved that she knew what she wanted and was not afraid to take it. Her mouth? I needed some ice to cool me off after those scenes.

This book was amazing. I gobbled this up quick.

I received this as an arc but my opinion is my own.

I love Roman and Chloe! Roman is a complete 180 from his brothers, which I love! Such an original story, with a female Dominant, and a guy who loves her dirty work with him! The emotional touches tugged at my heart strings and added so much depth to the story, and to the characters, especially Roman, and why he is how he is. The brothers' support of each other against their father was also amazing, and I really enjoyed getting to see a taste of all of the family's happy endings. Amazing read!

Okay so only thing enjoyable thing as always is the smut and this time it was Nova slapping some sense into Rome to get his sh*t together‼️🔥no but frfr ending was corny and cute at the same time. Also Roman was such a heartbreaking and complex character☹️ and Chloe my badass queen 🥰🥰 they were definitely an interesting couple! And the epilogue was adorable can’t believe I finished this series.Such a bittersweet moment rn tbh😕.

Perfect way to end the Stag brothers’ series. Loved the dynamic of bossy girl, bratty guy. But the best part for me here was how broken Roman was and how Chloe made it her life’s mission to support and defend him in every way possible. Perfection. As always this was a beta read I did for Octavia but all opinions are my own.

I devoured this, just like I did with every other book in this series. Now, I’m incredibly sad that it’s over. Those brothers 🥵

Handle me was a fantastic story but, personally, the female dom was not for me. I still adored it either way, I think I just prefer my MMC to be dominant.

Now, I have to find something to fill the void after this phenomenal series….
