Crooked Love
It has been my dream to work for Raichand Groups, but fate brings me on his path when I am unprepared and young.

Crooked Love by my favorite author, Payal. I like her books because they are different than normal books.
This is one such story. I have read Dom/Sub stories before but not so intense and emotional.
Kairav and Akansha share one such bond of an unconventional relationship that only they can relate to.
The outside world cannot understand that bond and the author has shown that.
Kairav is arrogant, possessive, obsessive but this book isn't normal alpha male story. It's different.
Kai and Angel are made of each other 💓
And I hope they get their happy ending. My heart cried when Akansha knows that Kairav is married. She tries to stay from him but he doesn't let her. Story becomes intense but finally she gives in.
Kairav is unapologetic and manipulative but he loves Akansha more than anything in the world.
A must read if you are okay with the theme and trigger warning.
Loved the book but the wait would be longer for the sequel. Hope it comes out soon.

Crooked Love by Payal Dedhia is dark, intense and forbidden romance. The story starts with how because of some unforeseen circumstances, Akansha has to come and work for Raichand Groups. Kairav Raichand is her role model but he shows a very different side to her.
Kairav is obsessed with Akansha and then starts the story where he make sure he owns the every breath she takes.
Story is dark with obsessive, crazy behavior from Kairav but it is also lovely. The bond they share is real and your heart would go out for the forbidden couple.
They share such a magical bond. Sharing meals, holding each other in the car, the rare occurrences of their intimacy, makes us believe love is not only about sex. Love is pure and emotional.
The story is dark because Kairav is not a hero but a sexy villain who can go to any lengths to get what he wants. He doesn't have to justify his actions and Akansha many times bears the grunt of his actions. But you cannot help and feel for him. Especially when he reveals he is married. The confrontation is real and pierces your heart.

Crooked Love is a prequel of The Other One. In the first book, we see how Akansha and Kairav's affair comes to light and they go separate ways. Crooked Love is how their story started.
It is dark, sensual, hot with heart wrenching cry from the protagonists. The hurt is real, especially when Akansha comes to know the truth about Kai. His pain will also pierce your heart because you know they are made for each other.
Beautifully crafted, author has gone beyond with this one. From start to finish, I was with Kai and A, falling in love with them as they fell in love with each other.
Eagerly waiting for the sequel now.
