*ALC Review*
This book is fantastic! I wasn't sure what to expect when I started but there is such careful and meticulous world building in the first few chapters that you are instantly transported into this shadow realm of ancient shifters whose exist alongside humans. It's a shimmering, sprawling epic from start to finish and if you are a fan of an absorbing paranormal romance then this is the one for you.
You go on such a journey with Arik, the thousand year old exiled Archai warrior betrayed by his people and on a one way path for revenge, and Kat the fragile and beautiful human he rescues only to realise she is a dormant and rare Archai female. Their enemies/Stockholm syndrome to lovers romance is electric, sexy and at times tragic and you really want shake Arik at some points for being so stubborn and stupid. Their passion is intense and Arik can be downright ruthless at times but both change dramatically over the course of the book that it just became unputdownable for me.
My only slight warning to some people is this book (much like most of the authors other books I understand) does deal with some pretty dark issues, mainly violence, abduction and rape of women. Its not what I would say graphic but there is heavy suggestions and descriptions of it so just a flag if you find that difficult going in. Personally it didn't stop me from enjoying this book at all, it provides the context of the evil our main characters are facing and what is at stake.
I love that it ends with a hint to the next book, this story was neatly contained and could be read on its own but there is a whole universe in the making here and other characters along the way kept popping up and grabbing my attention. I eagerly await the next one!!
Like with all good romance books these days you simply HAVE to get yourself the audio copy, why on earth would you deny yourself the absolute joy of two incredible actors performing this story for you. Stella Hunter is my absolute voice actor goddess, her titles have taken over my library, you will just get swept up in her gorgeous voice as she is able to expertly portray the multi-facets of Kat as she develops through this story. You feel every emotion that Kat is going through like you were living it yourself. She is truly remarkable.
JF Harding is one of my new discoveries and instant obsessions for 2022 (thank you K Loraine and Meg Anne) and is such an amazing actor. For a large part of this book it is in Arik or one of the other shifters POVs so he does quite a lot of the first half of the book and setting up the characters that populate this new world we find ourselves in. I could quite happily listen to him all day, his voice is addictive but its his ability to portray the emotions of the characters so astutely that keeps me hooked and coming back for me. True vulnerability, pain, anger, seduction, humour, love - its just intoxicating to listen to. Which is why he is perfect for narrating paranormal stories with multiple characters.
This is a thrilling and blinding paranormal romance in a new world which I cannot wait to delve into again. Bring on Book 2!!!

The head and torso of an eagle with the legs of a lion, let’s not forget his wingspan ,12 feet of silky wings pure perfection to say to the least. Well, there’s one problem Arik was framed for a murder he did not commit. Arik and his animal (Griffin) are on their own as the Archai clan turned their backs and decided to believe the lie told. Maddox (wolf shifter) of the Enigma soldier of evil who was taken in by Arik’s family as a young boy , and he plays a major role in this fast-paced tale. I was hanging by a thread. In the city of Nashville is the foundation of where this story takes place. Arik is consumed with vengeance, and he has locked his heart away. He will stop at nothing until retribution is served.
Kat aka Kitty Kat, a shy lonely human (well so she thought) working as a singer in local bars of Nashville TN. A virgin in every sense of the word is attacked by the Enigma soldiers in a back alley when she unleashes a power, she did not know she possessed. Kat is a rare Archai female, let alone an untouched one. Arik discovers the power she possesses is exactly what he needs to seek out his vengeance. Arik, takes her and trains her to understand her powers but as this goes on something happens with Griffin a tug of war between human and animal so to say the least, get ready to cutch those pearls as this is one hot shifter. Don't take my word for it. Oh, and I love the nod to Alice in Wonderland (Mad Hatter) indeed that was so very fitting!
Will Arik get his vengeance and unlock his cold guarded heart and welcome a mate? Will Kat finally understand who she is and belong to someone finally? - you will need to grab this audio! Boys and girls this baby is a scorcher. Not only does Ella Sheridan give you character build, but she also layers it with a real story that will have you wanting more. Did I say more Oh yes! There will be a book 2 and I am here for it all.
Narrators - JF Harding and Stella Hunter have so much chemistry you can hear it in their performance. I have several audio books with this duo - Bravo Ella, you nailed it with this dynamic duo, I absolutely cannot wait for more!!! I rate this 5 stars and this is my honest opinion.

How is it possible that Ella Sheridan has not written a paranormal romance before now? This book was phenomenal!! Paranormal romance will always be where my heart lies and too often the stories become redundant with the same rinse and repeat. Not Griffin Undone this was unlike anything I have read from not just Ella but anyone else.
Arik really did a good job of making himself the villain. From the moment his parents were murdered he has had one mission and that is to catch the person who did it. From the very start you are completely endeared to him and what he is trying to accomplish but soon you realize that all that alone time focused on hate and revenge has made him a shell of the person he once was.
He wasn't supposed to let her get to him, but Kat weaved herself into every fiber of his being from the moment they met, and his instincts are telling him no. To do what he has been planning to do and move on. Yet, his Griffin has other ideas and with a war brewing that has been coming for nearly nine centuries he might be the only one to protect her.
The world building here was breathtaking with nods to mythology that any lover will be enthralled with while keeping it unique to the story of the Archai Warriors.
J.F. Harding did so many voices for not only Arik but the other warriors and while still making them all unique to the character he was portraying I was absolutely blown away. Then Stella Hunter as Kat was so much more than I could have hoped for. She was sexy, captivating and her anger when warranted could be felt which just really enhances the listening experience for me.
Without a doubt my favorite Ella Sheridan book EVER, Griffin Undone will have you on the edge of your seat with your heart racing from the very first chapter and just when you think you know what is coming you don't. This is only the start of the Archai Warriors, and I can't wait for more stories of the warriors we have met and yet to meet. Not to mention what is going to happen with Arik now that things have settled.... sort of...

**Audio Review**
Griffin Undone by Ella Sheridan was an epic, paranormal shifter fantasy romance with a unique mythological twist! Ella has created a unique, majestic world full of action and mystery in book one of her Archai Warriors series. Arik and Kat battle and overcome many obstacles on their way to HEA which captivated my attention from start to finish.
J.F. Harding and Stella Hunter narrate this book in duet-style narration. J.F. Harding was absolutely fantastic in this book. His ability to capture so many raw, conflicted, and determined emotions from Arik was spot on and had me consumed by his performance. He also performed various side characters giving me chills at times. Stella Hunter showcased Kat's vulnerable and passionate sides perfectly. She also conveyed Kat's newfound confidence and strength too! Both narrators brought the heat with Kat and Arik's mated chemistry!
Overall, I enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of a fantasy romance with a hot, hunky griffin shifter, a sassy spitfire heroine, whirlwind adventure, danger, secrets, battling with the enemy, training, learning how to use your newfound powers, confiding in others, super hot steamy times, learning to trust, biting, an epic climax, and a HEA that will leave your heart soaring, then you will love Arik and Kat's story. I'm looking forward to more from Ella Sheridan.

WOW! I think that says it all. I am not a paranormal listener, but my favorite authors never cease to amaze me how they can win me over with their fantasy stories. I love Ella Sheridan's romantic suspense, and she weaves so much of that into this book, I was completely enthralled. Revenge is the key. Arik is a Griffin shifter without a clan, and his only mission it to take out Maddox, the one who killed his family. Kat, an ordinary woman is bit by a monster, Maddox, which triggers powers she had no idea she had. As part of the first act of his revenge, Arik saves her and our story truly begins. Sheridan mixes mythological shifting into this action packed story. She kept me on edge, wondering who I can trust and who is truly the enemy. Kat is an incredibly strong heroine, and I loved her ability to learn who she is and embrace it. Arik is frustrating at times, getting in his own way and tripping over his anger. It's a great story and beginning to this series! I can't wait for more.
Stella Hunter and JF Harding narrate this book in duet, and it's amazing! Hunter knows how to become her character and she falls right into Kat. Strong, resilient and passion filled, she is fabulous. JF Harding has so many voices in this one, each character specific and fitting their personality perfectly. I love these two together, as they play off each other and compliment each other well. It is a narration you do not want to miss.

A beautiful and engaging paranormal romance! Ella Sheridan is a master of world building and her ability to make you feel like you are breathing the same air as the characters, feeling the same touch, hearing the same sounds is incredible. I truly felt immersed. It’s not a departure from her typical work, but rather a beautiful facet that we are getting to see!
Arik is a tortured shape shifter hellbent on revenge. You can feel his rage, even root for his cause. Kat is caught in his crosshairs, and though he thinks he can use her as a weapon he quickly realizes how hard that will be with how drawn he is to her. Read this story for a vulnerable yet strong female lead, a devilish male lead who is equal parts sexy and threatening, and a mythical society of shapeshifters that you’d willingly follow into battle.

*ALC Review*An action packed, steamy, and engaging paranormal romance right out of the gate. The world building was so detailed and rich in history that it felt true and real. The secret society of the Archai warriors is fascinating and Arik is one hot and ruthless griffin shifter. Until he saves Kat while in pursuit of his sworn enemy. The bond they create and their explosive chemistry is swoon worthy. J.F. Harding and Stella both deliver outstanding and powerful performances. I can't wait for more stories in this world Ella has so epically created!

I love that Ella does both romantic suspense and paranormal romance so brilliantly that she really does flawlessly draw the reader into her worlds she creates in her books.

The bite Maddox gave her activates some deeply hidden paranormal talents which Arik knows will help him get Maddox.
This book is an adventure. One with enemies and foes. Ella has such a great sense for pulling the reader into her vision and has us focused on everything happening with such excitement to know what is coming next.
Any book you can hear in duet you should run to do so. With audio the actors pull you into the story. I lose track of everything else but the audiobook. It really feels like I am there seeing the world and experiencing it as I hear it.

**Audiobook Review**
Wow, just wow. What an action packed paranormal romance and the perfect start to this new series from Ella Sheridan.
From the very first chapter, I was pulled in from this unique story about a griffin shifter, his past and his future that would be brought together by someone who didn't even know her own destiny. Arik and Kat are two amazing characters and I loved listening to them find themselves and each other.
Arik is a complex man and griffin shifter who had a terrible past and has been living day to day trying to avenge his clan and his family. Pain and honor is what drives him to avenge his family and find out who killed them. Kat was the surprise he wasn't expecting and her special abilities which I loved. Kat is a force to be reckoned with and I loved her right from the beginning. I love the struggle that went between Arik and his Griffin on who Kat really was meant for. Maddox, even though the monster of the story, had me intrigued from the beginning and I want to know more about him. I cannot wait for more stories in this paranormal series.
J.F. Harding and Stella Hunter were absolutely perfect as Arik and Kat. I love that this was recorded in duet so we could hear all the voices from the characters by JF and Stella. J.F. did an amazing job bringing so many male voices to life with all the Warriors and everyone in between. Each voice was unique and you can tell who was who. Wow...loved this new series!!
I'm a sucker for a good shifter romance, and this one was sooooooo good!!! It’s not your typical shifter romance since the lead male character is literally a griffin (half lion and half eagle), but I really loved Arik’s character. He’s roamed the earth for nearly a millennium after being thrown out of his clan for the murder of his parents that he didn’t commit, and now he is on the search for their actual killers wanting his vengeance against them. One night, he comes across a female being hounded by other shifter males and rescues her… except she was bitten by one of them, which started her transition. Kat has been alone her whole life with no one wanting her. Now she’s got this big guy looking out for her, wanting her to use some “powers” she didn’t even know she had.
Kat and Arik have to get the buy-in and help from his old clan and get them to understand that not only did he NOT murder his parents, but that their old adversary is still alive and trying to take over.
The fight scene in this book was absolutely EPIC! Omg!

Griffin Undone is the first book in the Archai Warriors series. This paranormal shifter story is set in this time with ancient shifters who are fighting to keep peace. Arik is the main Archai warrior, who is bold, stunningly handsome, intense, loving at times, dark edged, and a Griffin when he shifts. Kat has no idea that she is an Archai psych, and has led a lonely tired life. All that changes when she is triggered by the Evil Maddox, and unleashes powers she never could have even dreamed. Kat is beautiful, starved for love, has a low self esteem, and does not stick up for herself. She really comes into her own as an Archai warrior. Her powers are tremendous, although they do take her to the edge of death after fighting. There is a tremendous amount of action, lust, beautiful love, and redemption in this book. Kat finds herself stronger, capable, loving, and able to be loved. Arik finds out that he can love and be loved without sacrificing his Griffin or himself. I do like how Kat transforms and trusts her instincts and herself by the end of the book. Her and Arik's love story is complicated, and yet absolutely gorgeous. The writing is superb, descriptive, and flows very well. I am looking forward to the next book starring Sun and Risk who we have met in this story. Well done Ella Sheridan.

I usually do not read paranormal, it has to really draw me in before I even consider reading. So let me tell you that this story is well worth the time lost in sleep you will lose while reading this one.
Arik and Kat are two totally different people or species or so it seems. While Arik wants to use her to get his revenge he never sees her coming for his heart and soul.
Kat is all alone, she has no family or friends, and when she is attached she thinks her life is over. But something weird happens and she is able to attack the one that strikes her and then passes out. When she wakes up she can't believe what is happening, she thinks she is dreaming and it is like a dream. This story is right out of dreamland and I do not want to wake up.
As this author wades into the world of the paranormal, I feel she is going to sail through very well because this story is one wild roller coaster ride that you will not want to get off.
So sit back and enjoy the ride with Arik, Kat, and all of the Archai Warriors, you will not be disappointed. I am ready for more.

A fantastic paranormal romance! Arik is a griffin and very old Archai warrior who was betrayed and is set on revenge and Kat is human woman or is she? Turns out she is an Archai, only the women have different traits. The romance is instant, steamy, at times tragic. Arik can switch from warm and loving to downright cold in the blink of an eye because he only saw her initially as a pawn in a game. One of Ella Sheridan’s gifts is world-building, regardless of what book it is one of the best I have seen any author create. 1. She concentrates on the essential to set the characters and scenes and 2. She doesn’t go haywire with 3-5 pages describing their clothes, houses or what car they drive unless it has a point in the story, she concentrates on the characters’ characteristics and how they interact with the others in the book. Devil’s in the details subtly placed in the story. Next book about Sun and Risk will be on fire for sure. After all, he is a phoenix! Beta/ARC courtesy of publisher in exchange for an honest review. I listened to the audiobook as well and it’s epic with JF Harding and Stella Hunter narrating!

J.F. Harding and Stella Hunter were amazing in their performances. J.F.’s ability to show all of Arik’s layers and voice all the other male characters (including a reptile shifter) was outstanding. There weren’t many female characters other than Kat in this story, but Stella nailed them so well, most importantly Kat’s journey of discovering her power and her worth.
I enjoyed this first book in Ella Sheridan’s new shifter world and I’m looking forward to more!

I was completely engrossed in this story right from the start. I love this new paranormal world that Ella has created with Archai. Arik has a tragic past of hurt and betrayal and has spent most of his years alone. Kat has always felt unseen and feels as if no one wants her and I loved her strength grow as she learns all about this new world she is in. Arik is determined to keep her at arms length and denies his feelings for her but I love how he will still do anything to protect her. There was non-stop action that had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. I am looking forward to seeing more from this world.
Stella Hunter and J.F Harding narrate this in duet narration and both bring the characters and story to life. Stella does an amazing job at bringing out the emotions Kat feels as she learns all about this new world that she is now in. J.F. This is book one in The Archai Warrior's series and it is Arik and Kat's story and omg what a great start to a new series and definitely a must read. Wow this is not my normal genre but as I absolutely love everything that Ella Sheridan writes I decided to give it a go and I am so glad that I did as this.story takes you in and will not let you go and it had you turning the pages while on the edge of your seat wondering what would happen next and what a addictive read. I absolutely loved Arik and Kat together because even though they were the total opposite in every single way they just seem to work and gel together with great chemistry between them and I can't wait to read the next book to see where this series takes us.

Ella Sheridan has done it again! I absolutely loved book 1 of this Archai Warrior series and cannot wait to read the second one! I had a very hard time putting this book down once I started it as I do with all of Ella's books!
This book runs the gamete on the emotions and had a fantastic ending! Our 2 main characters, Arik and Kat were both destroyed emotionally for most of their lives and watching them find each other throughout a brutal war and Kat's training was sometimes hard to read...Sometimes I wanted to smack Arik upside the head but in the end he mostly redeems himself and we get our HEA!

Let me tell you I LOVED it! It did not disappoint (which I knew it wouldn't!) Such a great start to this series. I love all books including paranormal, so I knew I would love it. Ella has a way with words and can transport you into the world she is writing. I loved the bond between Arik and Kat! Cannot wait for more from Ella!

ALC review : What a fascinating immersive world Ella Sheridan has built, full of danger, mythical creatures and twisting and winding paths to revenge, passion and redemption. Just wow, I can’t believe this is Ella’s first paranormal romance, so well written. Shapeshifting griffin Arik who is on a mission for vengeance and Kat the unsuspecting human woman who is all alone in the world and trying her best to survive her lonely existence, they cross paths in a tangled web of manipulation and passion. I loved JF Harding’s and Stella Hunter’s narration of these characters. The edge of vulnerability that softens Arik even at his hardest moments and the inner strength that shines through Kat in spite of all the trials and tribulations of her past and present are both very endearing. The simmering passion between them was palpable from the moment they met and only got hotter and hotter. Though this book is a standalone in this new world but book 2 is hinted at and I cant wait to listen to it. Well Done Ella Sheridan !

Arik growled. The sound rippled up my legs and down my spine to meet low in my pelvis. His eyes shed their amber glow, throwing stark shadows across his face, making him appear animalistic. Or maybe that was his griffin rising beneath his skin. Whichever it was, it captivated me, made me burn, made me want to relax onto the mattress and spread myself for him. But something held me back, something I’d seen in his eyes when I’d first stepped into the office.
Rage. Frustration. Hate.
Whatever had happened tonight while he was gone, it had been powerful. The emotion it engendered lurked beneath the hunger suffusing Arik’s expression now, burning me down to my core, even deeper than his need could go. Searching his face, my heart stuttered, caught, tumbled over itself into a frantic pace, and yet all the while, those beautiful, intense eyes held me in thrall.
“Arik, what’s going on?”
The words came out too breathless, too hesitant, but at least they came out. Arik didn’t seem to register the question, didn’t hesitate as he crawled, one hand, one knee in front of the other, up the bed. I let myself go soft, relax back onto the pillows, surrendering to his approach despite the warnings blaring in my head.
His gaze dropped to my body, trailing over me as if he owned me, tension threading through his muscles until they stood in stark relief under his taut skin. My throat went dry at the lure of that dark desire. My mind blanked when he reached my feet. Wrapping a single palm around my ankle, he jerked, quick and hard, laying me out flat before him. Socks were removed, pajama pants, panties. His head lowered. His nose trailed along my ankle, my calf. The sound of his deep inhale, the vibrating purr that escaped him should have reassured me, but when his tongue sneaked out to trace the line of muscle, I tensed instead. Arik rubbed each cheek along my skin, marking me—no, this felt like his griffin marking me. Laying claim. I was no longer sure which animal I was in bed with, wasn’t sure I cared.
And when he reached my pelvis and paused to nuzzle into the apex of my thighs, I knew for certain I couldn’t care either way.
