This was the perfect series to read of Katie Winters after her Vineyard series. Her books make you feel all snuggly and loved.

This was a dream of a series finale. Everything tied up with a neat bow but just enough left open for future books.

Be still my heart…and pass the tissues! This is such an incredible book. I don’t know how Katie Winters does it. But she can really spin a tale!! The storyline is simply incredible; the characters are unbelievable; the plot twists and turns will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat; snd the HEA? Oh mama! What a kick ass read! Another solid book by Katie Winters! This was a combo of Emma’s and Alex’s stories. Emma is about to have her baby but nothing goes smoothly of course. Enter Lilly, who is about to change Emma’s life and Alex’s. Lilly an her kids weave their way onto Alex’s life and in some ways the who Swartz crew. This was a beau story and of course left a little cliff hanger at the end for Tracey. Can’t wait for the next story!

Mackinac Heritage is a beautiful love story dealing with a variety of scenarios - new love for a quiet man in his 40's, new love for a young mother who has been abandoned, and the pure love of a mom for her baby. The book has strong and realistic plot lines that surprise the reader. The books was simply great !

This book tells the stories of Emma and her Uncle Alex. Emma is pregnant, readying to be a single mother. The night of her baby shower, Alex opens the door of the Inn to find a young mother, Lily with two small children, one of them sick. As time passes, Alex finds himself drawn to Lily and her two small sons. As Lily spends time with Emma( the pair learn they are connected. Is Alex destined to spend his life alone, or will he have a family some day?

Strong family ties run though out the book.

Interesting story of Alex and his search for love. Lily and her children’s arrival changes Alex’s priorities. Lily’s search for her ex and her brother leads to unexpected news. Almost lime for Emma to deliver her bundle of joy. Can Lily’s previous occupation calm Emma’s fears about the delivery? Join the family to see the love and support they have for each other.

Some books we read and the memory of the story is forgotten. This series is one that I will remember for a long while and will read again and again. Wonderful characters and plot lines. In my mind a must read.

Alex Joins Life

Alex was always the ignored family member until this story. We see Alex find out solitary living is not the wsy to ho. Lily joins the story and Alex is changed forever not always in ways he is comfortable with.

A nice HEA story to end the series. I enjoyed all 6 of the books in this Mackinac series. None were fabulous but I needed something easy on the brain with little conflict and these definitely met my needs and expectations.

just when I thought I had reached the end of tbistsle, Lily is pregnant a t! now, that calls for a whole new story.
Ily s d Alex aren't married and too old not to be especially with two little boys already. Ant wait to find Doug what hsppens.

Characters shallow, conversations stilted . author leaves readers disengaged from characters. A constant flow of wine drinking from beginning to end is tiresome. Did AI write this novel? First two books of series were interesting reads. This last one is waste of time.
