It’s all change for Harp when his rancher boss has no choice but to turn him over to the military, to pay off taxes he cannot otherwise afford. Things change for the better, when Harp’s difference to the majority of humans is revealed for what it is.
Without doubt one of the best books I’ve read for many years, and in my eyes a blowback to the golden age of science fiction. This is a book that many will remember in years to come, as it reveals an extremely talented writer. I noted that this is Book 1, so I look forward to the tomes to come.
