This book was a great disappointment. The author attempts to describe what Law of Attraction (LOA) is, but doesn't do it justice. There is too much talk about coming from ego. You can come from ego and still manifest, it doesn't need to come from your higher self. This just isn't how LOA works. The comment of unwavering belief, you don't have to have this to manifest or to use LOA. We are always manifesting, How many time have people believed something wouldn't happen, and then it does. You don't need to have a higher vibration and feel happy all the time. You can manifest on all vibrational levels. These types of beliefs set people up for failure.
The words "I am" is the name of God. This is why they hold so much power, not because they put you in the present moment. This is a basic concept that any LOA coach should know and understand. Not know this to me makes the content of this book feel untrustworthy. It also shows that the author lacks the understand of LOA and how it works.
While healing past hurts, letting go of grudges and forgiveness are all amazing things to do for self evolution, they aren't needed to manifest. The author jumps all over the place and even covers toxic energy and cord cutting. All valid topics, but they aren't relevant to manifestation, if you don't do this things it will not stop you from manifesting. The author focuses a lot on going into the past, dealing with past hurts and feelings. This can be triggering for many people, this is not necessary to manifest. This book should have been about healing techniques and not manifesting.
The author starts telling people to look for signs and ask for signs that their manifestations are coming. This contradicts her saying you must have unwavering beliefs. If you are asking for signs, then that means you have doubt and need reassurance that your manifestation is coming. Also, if a sign doesn't appear, it doesn't mean your manifestation isn't coming, but some may see it that way and give up or think they are doing something wrong.
The author touches on the topic of love and says you can't manifest someone to love you because of free will. But she also speaks of quantum time lines that have different paths that can happen in different parallel realities. So if you're time jumping and you're the creator of your reality, then you can jump into the time line where that person does love you and is with you, thats your free will using LOA to quantum jump.
While the author spent most of the book talking about healing, i was surprised about the lack of content on self love. I feel like there should have been more dedicated space for this topic and how what we attract stems from self love as a whole. While, you don't have to have self love to manifest, I would have found this more helpful and more relevant than deep diving into past hurts and rekindling past traumas.
I did like the aesthetics of the book. I also like some of the meditations that were provided. I just feel this book would have been better marketed as a self healing book than a book on using LOA.
I'd like to thank the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
