A child has been taken. His mother is terrified. But nothing about this abduction is normal . . .

With the help of Olin and Dylan, Connor’s agency, Red Sky Investigators, is doing better than ever. But when he receives a mysterious note taped to his door, he knows things are about to take a turn for the worse.

It starts when a friend’s child is kidnapped during a school field trip. Instead of demanding a ransom, the kidnapper taunts Connor, challenges him to find the boy. Even with the assistance of the police, though, that appears to be impossible.

Connor can still save him, the kidnapper says the next time they talk. But to do so, he will have to follow the kidnapper’s instructions exactly.

His demand is as alarming as it is unexpected. It would push Connor and his friends to use their skills in a way they never thought they would. It could endanger their lives and their freedom.

However, with this their last chance to save the boy and the clock ticking, they may have no choice but to comply.

There’s not much worse than a child being kidnapped unless it’s a child of someone you know. Connor Callahan, along with teammates Dylan, and Olin of Red Sky Investigators find themselves entangled in the kidnapping of their secretary’s son. From the disturbing note Connor finds on his door, he and his team are pulled deeper and deeper into this cat and mouse game, and the kidnapper seems always to be a few steps ahead of them. The kidnapper has his own agenda, and Connor now has to play by his rules if there is any chance of finding the boy alive. This case has become personal for Connor and the team so they are willing to pull out all the stops to help.

Mr. Keeter built a story so diabolical, so filled with twists and turns, that I didn’t want to put it down. And the ending…I did not see it coming. This book packed a one-two punch of action and suspense.

The Red Sky Investigators are at it again. This time, Connor find a mysterious note posted on the front door of his residence. The next morning a woman named Lucy shows up at the office and starts assuming the role of their receptionist. They decide to give her a chance to do the job. The following day, Lucy’s son is kidnapped while on a field trip from school. The team agrees to do what’s they can to help Lucy get her son back safe and sound. Are the note on Connor’s door and the kidnapping related? Clues are few and far between. The plot has bumps, twists, and turns along the way. It’s a thrill ride with deadlines to be met that ramp up the pressure to find the boy. It’s an exciting adventure that is a great addition to the Connor Callahan series. I’m enjoying the continued development and maturing of the entire Red Sky team. Great read. Enjoy!

This series just gets better and better. Reading a Reagan Keeter mystery/thriller is like throwing a pebble into a brook. Once you have started there is a ripple effect with the story, and it gets bigger and bigger but never so big that you lose the plot. I never knew where the story was taking me and the twist at the end was totally unexpected. I am also enjoying the growth the trio of Conner, Dylan and Olin are exibiting as the series progresses. The little tease at the end giving a sly peek into what might be coming in the next book had me raising my eyebrows and I cannot wait to see it unfold.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and this is my honest and unbiased opinion of the tale.

Each book in this series gets better and better. Connor and the team are tasked with finding a kidnapped boy, their secretary's son. At the same time, Connor starts getting notes that draw him closer to the case, seeming like the kidnapper has something against him. This story kept me engaged from the first and the twists and turns had me rushing to find out what would happen. The ending blew me away. I would recommend this series. I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Another excellent Connor Callahan story. Connor, Olin and Dylan and the PI business are busy. When a young boy is kidnapped and it tuns out to be the son of their new receptionist, Lucy, she asks them to help find her son. With cryptic notes being left with instructions for Connor to find the boy they must act swiftly to find the boy before it's too late. Love reading how they solve this kidnapping and like the twist at the end that I did not see coming. Definitely recommend this book.

Reagan Keeter’s novel Reckless is a fast mover, with the trio of Connor, Dylan, and Olin running a private detective agency that sometimes functions a bit left of the law. Their major case here hits cruelly close to home when their secretary Lucy’s son is kidnapped and threatened. The three race against the clock to fulfill a mysterious abductor’s demands in order to save the little boy. Some neat plot twists, clever red herrings, and interesting characterizations. A nice, quick read.

Another wonderful chapter in this series. This provocative, somewhat dark and twisted story grabs you from the first page and keeps you guessing until the very end where the author inserts a deliciously wicked twist.

Thank you to the author who provided me with a copy of this book. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Another great book in the ongoing series by Reagan Keeter. Connor Callahan and his partners at Red Sky Investigations are drawn into a personal problem of their receptionist. Her son is kidnapped and held by someone who seems to have a grudge against Connor himself. The police are investigating, but Connor is warned , in no uncertain terms, that he must not share the information that the kidnapper is giving him personally. This book, like the first three, kept me thoroughly engaged and had a very surprising ending!
I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.
