Dirty Bandit.
Dear Reader: I’m USA TODAY bestselling contemporary romance author Mika Lane, and am all about bringing you sexy, sassy stories with imperfect heroines and the bad-a*s dudes they bring to their knees. And I have a special love for romance with multiple guys because why should we have to settle for just one hunky man?
Please join my Insider Group and be the first to hear about giveaways, sales, pre-orders, ARCs, and most importantly, a free sexy short story: http://mikalane.com/join-mailing-list/. Writing has been a passion of mine since, well, forever (my first book was The Day I Ate the Milkyway, a true fourth-grade masterpiece). These days, steamy romance, both dark and funny, gives purpose to my days and nights as I create worlds and characters who defy the imagination. I live in magical Northern California with my own handsome alpha dude, sometimes known as Mr. Mika Lane, and two devilish cats named Chuck and Murray. These three males also defy my imagination from time to time.
A lover of shiny things, I've been known to try new recipes on unsuspecting friends, find hiding places so I can read undisturbed, and spend my last dollar on a plane ticket somewhere.
I'll always promise you a hot, sexy romp and some version of a modern-day happily ever after.
Her Dirty Rockers is book one in the Men At Work series by Mika Lane. This is my very first book by Mika. This is a Reverse Harem, enemies to lovers romance.
When Coral James was in high school, she was a little chubby, awkward and definitely not in the cool kids club. Three particular boys bullied her and made her life miserable. Now it’s ten years later. Coral is no longer that overweight teenager. She is a successful, beautiful woman and works for a successful public relations firm. Her firm has taken on a new client. It’s their biggest client to date and could change their futures. Her boss wants her to handle the client. That would be great if the client wasn’t a world famous rock band and the three members the very same three who bullied her all those years ago.
Ennis, Stone and Hugh started out as teens rehearsing in garages and dreaming of making it big. Now their band, Dirty Bandit, is the number one rock band in the world. Their record label has about had it with them. None of them seem to be able to stay out of trouble when they are off the stage. Their manager is forcing them to hire a PR company to clean up their images.
Coral is determined to do this job even though she wants nothing to do with these three. But, as she gets to know them, learns their individual stories, she begins to soften towards them. But then she is told she needs to accompany them on their tour bus as well. Can she survive being cooped up for hours on end with these three?
It soon becomes clear that these three sexy rock stars want more from Coral than just being their PR manager. At the same time, their bad luck continues but it’s beginning to look like someone has it out for them.
This was a sweet and sexy story. These three men all did have back stories that broke my heart. The sexy scenes were definitely hot. My only complaint is that I just didn’t feel the emotional connection between them. I didn’t swoon. I liked the characters just fine but I didn’t get butterflies. There are lots more books in this series so I will definitely check them out to see if any of the others sound interesting.
Ignoring my presexisiting bias against the rockstar trope, I still hated this book so much in so many ways. While yes the three men are responsible for making her highschool experience horrific, the blurb is very misleading in stating they sought her out years later. By no means did these guys seek her out or seek forgiveness. The guys’ manager is a friend of the heroines boss who runs a PR firm and she is thus gifted the job of rehabilitating their rockstar images and stopping the record deal from dropping them. First two things that ended any hope for this book is 1-one of the guys is talking about why he stays at his band mates house all the time and we get to see his true colors. “My girl-well, no my ex-girl had started out a basic groupie. (They really have respect for women 🤦🏽♀️) But she was different..... But that didn’t keep my dick in my pants. No, I ruined it by continuing to be the man-whore l’d always been. Love didn’t have anything to do with it.” Aww isn’t he sweet, definitely someone I can believe has a HEA in the future. Not!!! Once a cheater always a cheater and the utter ignorance and nonchalant behavior pissed me off to the nth degree. I won’t even get started on the horrible misogyny leaking through each page. On that note, this loser never, not once shows any type of growth or that he learned any valuable life lesson that will lead to him treating the heroine any better. He lacks any respect for women and only cares what they can do for him, sexually. He doesn’t even respect them enough to understand they too have important careers but then again none of them do as they’re pawing her within hours of meeting her. The same woman whose supposed to recover their careers smh. 2-The first thing one of them says when they remember who the heroine is, is “You were the fat chick who sat with the other nerds in the senior lunchroom.” What a keeper. How is this book rated so high?!? Later on one thinks, “how did a woman go from being, well... how Coral was in highschool, to a shapely, statuesque beauty who turned heads when she walked across a room?” Like I can’t actually believe this shit 🤬🤬🤬🤬 As for the bullying in their shared past, only one of the men actually apologizes and it’s only after he lamely excuses his behavior by saying “I... had a lot of shit going on at home when I was a kid. It wasn’t pretty.” Im sorry what, I’m supposed to feel bad for you? The man who still barely acknowledges his own cruelty and the honest damage bullying can cause? There’s not enough facepalm emojis for this review. I think it also boils down to how much I wanted the heroine to be crushed under a 20 ton boulder for being so easy, naive and f*cking stupid. The men point out her flaws back then and she’s all, “well, he was right. I was pretty awkward back then.” By day two and maybe a few hours of being reunited with them shes made out with them all. Ugh gross. She knows nothing of these guys aside from their bad reputations and how they treated her in high school. Hell their first meeting was a shit show but one kisses her later on and she’s all fluttering lashes, leaning into him and moaning like a cat in heat. Oh no, no, no. But of course it only continued to get worse when she forced herself to drink with them as she puts it, “under duress.” Hmm interesting choice of words smh. This is how you’re going to show them you’ve grown up?! Wtf. I know, you may be wondering why did I even read this when I hated this pretty much from beginning to end? Really it was all for a challenge and I wish I could purge it from my mind. It may have been a quicker read but it was a slow torture of pain that I felt every second. The hits never stopped coming as next she’s asked and then told, “speaking of jerking off, coral, were you getting laid in highschool?....... followed by... “Yeah you former fatties better start doing some jumping jacks.” How in the F am I supposed to like any of these guys?! Oh wow let’s still throw little jabs at her just because, well, just because. 🤬😡🤬Needless to say I could go on and on covering the number of angrily made highlights I have in this book on my kindle, but I won’t. Hopefully this review will help me move on to something better. Personally i would absolutely not recommend this book. There’s no HEA that I can see or that I can belive. The heroine actually makes the stupidest mistake ever and ends up giving up her career and offer of making partner at the PR firm to working for the band full time. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ That’ll end well I’m sure smh. Just find something better 😑
Anytime you put dirty and reverse harem together I am more than likely going to leap to read the book add in that Mika Lane has impressed me thus far with every book I’ve read of hers and you got yourself and sure #oneclick ... aaaaaaaaand, she did not disappoint once again!
Even though these stories tend to be sexually driven, this book was both sexually and suspense driven. There’s a plot working against these rocker bad boys that mixes really well with the romance story. The story’s timeline is not very long but yet I felt like these guys were solid in their relationship to one another. It did not read at all like an insta attraction. Very well developed and deliciously sexy!

This book was so much fun to write, with the POV (points of view) of not only the main character, Coral, but also each of her hunky men: Stone, Hugh, and Ennis. I love writing varied POV—as I work my way through a new story, I get to know each character well enough to see the world through their eyes, and understand why they do some of the crazy sh*t they do.
Get to know Coral as she struggles to spruce up the tarnished image of the world's top rock band, while hiding a big secret of her own.
Wow! This is one, Hot, exciting, sexy, intense, surprising story. New job, for a bad, that she had went to school with its members. Not good memories, can she get past those memories? Will they respect her, in her job position? Great story, for all. ❤️
Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well. I'm not going to go into detail, no spoilers, just read the book if you are even mildly intrigued by the blurb. You'll thank me later!
The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting. Add in drama and passion and you have a good read.

Ok Hold the presses. What are you doing to me now Mika? This book was everything I expect from your writing. I laughed and felt invested in the relationships from the minute I read the book. I loved this book so much from the characters to the storyline. You must read this today.

Once again Mika rocked it. I have loved all of her books I have read so far. If the blurb pulled you in then do yourself a favor and just read it you will not be disappointed.
This was a entertaining steamy read. The characters fit well together and have sizzling chemistry. These guys will keep Coral on her feet. She must help them with their image. She wants nothing to do with them in high school and especially now. The story will hold your attention. A great read.
This was just okay. I’m not really sure why Coral would be interested in these dudes after they bullied her in high school. They never really even fully apologized and the first thing the biggest asshole says is “Weren’t you that fat chick?” Uh yeah. The only reason they’re interested in her now is because she lost weight and got “hot.” So meh.
Umm yeah, this book is hot. But it’s more than that, there is actually a story there too. You have Coral who is a strong sexual woman, and then you have Stone, Ennis and Hugh who are all carrying demons of their own.
This could have been a hot mess of a story but Mika Lane gave the characters depth, gave the story some suspense and genuinely wrote something that checks all the boxes.
This was my first time reading a reverse harem story that didn’t make me roll my eyes or go ick. The steamy moments were extremely steamy but with consenting adults I say bring it on!
This might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I enjoyed it.
This was a quick, easy RH read. I wanted to listen to an RH book but didn’t want it to be dark romance and this one did the job but it wasn’t really romantic at all. At the end there was no declaration of love or anything like that. I know RH’s aren’t the most romantic books but they are still considered romance books and I just didn’t feel that.
The story has very little actual performance related content. The story centres around the PR Lady. I liked this story quite a lot. The only bad thing is they seem to spend lots of time in the build up and fly into being together in a couple chapters at the end. There is a bit of a mystery around some bad press which really kinda distracted from the Story. I liked this book it was fast flowing and easy to follow.
I LOVE when authors share their wonderfulness on Kindle Unlimited! Her Dirty Rockers kicks off the Men at Work series, a reverse harem, enemies to lover romance.
In high school, all those years ago, Coral was still sporting her baby fat, and thus wasn’t what you would call a popular girl. Just like all those cheesy 90’s movies, there is always a popular group of guys that think its cool to bully, well these ones made poor Coral’s life a living hell. But like a phoenix rising from the ashes, years later, the baby fat has turned into killer curves and Coral is a beautiful baddie, with her dream job. That dream job that now has their biggest client ever.
Dirty Bandit, the current number one rock band. It’s members? None of than the three horse men of her high school life.
Ennis, Stone and Hugh.
Dirty Bandit’s labeled has hired Coral’s firm to clean up the bands image, and now Coral has to face the bitterness of her past with the three people she would rather run over with her car. But what happens when she must tour with the boys? Can she keep her sharp edges or will getting to know the guys turn her in their favor?
What a fun read! So sexy and sassy. I like that for a shorter read each character had a nice little back story to lead with. Coral is a queen and I am living for it. I can’t wait to see what the next book holds.
So, a friend of mine reviewed this book and she said she liked the writing, but isn’t into reverse harem. I love reverse harem, but don’t actually READ rock star romance. I needed a quick and dirty escape and this book provided it, now holding the honour of being the first rock star romance I’ve read that wasn’t my own.
It was short and sweet and I loved the character development. I’m not huge into bully romance, but enemies-to-lovers is a trope I enjoy, and I liked seeing how they had actually changed since high school.
After being bullied in high school by members of the now highly sought after rock band Dirty Bandits, Coral does everything she can to pass her new gig on to another PR rep. With her having history with the band members, however, her boss isn't having it and Coral finds herself on the road promoting the band. The more she gets to know Hugh, Ennis and Stone, the more she realizes that we are all fighting our own demons both past and present and the foursome grow closer. When someone starts spreading rumors and taking private pictures, the group is truly tested. Steamy scenes and a happy ending!

I am not always for a “bully” trope in a story but this one had a tale that gave you a different view point on the usual! Add in it was a RH and I was hooked!
I loved all the boys even when they were misbehaving and our leading lady had learned how to give as good as she got!
Wonderful and it had lots of action in and out of the “bedroom”!
I liked that Coral had gone to high school with Ennis, Hugh and Stone and when they hire her PR firm they meet again. I loved reading about Coral and the men from Dirty Bandit and their ups and downs. The chemistry between them all was great and the story had enough happening that I wanted to keep reading to find out what happens next.

A amazing written story with some twist and turn that brings an intensely hot moments to a surprising end. Coral works for a PR firms and is given the biggest turning point of her career, but when the clients are from her past can she make it happen.
This book will pull you in from the first page.

Her Dirty Rockers is the first book in the An Enemies to Lovers Reverse Harem Romance series. It is the story of Coral and The Dirty Bandits. And Ennis, Stone and Hugh are definitely dirty bandits and they steal Coral's in the most dirty way. Mika Lane has hit all the right cords with Her Dirty Rockers. It is really well written with a solid story-line that is well crafted and has all sorts of things going on along the way. Each of the guys are different but when they decide what they want, and the is Coral, they are determined to get her.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
The rockers of Dirty Bandit were the bane of Corals high school days. Years later she’s reinvented herself and become a successful PR guru. Hugh, Ennis and Stone are entranced by this confident, successful hot woman. Coral is given a trial by fire when she’s expected to travel with the band. They get up to all sorts of hijinks and unfortunately some encounters are filmed. Coral solves the mystery of who’s trying to destroy Dirty Bandit’s reputation and careers. Karma smack down is delivered in front of the gang for a HEA celebration Dirty Bandit style.

Mika Lane has written a 5-star book. Coral works for Randall at a PR firm and she has just been told that her new client is the band Diry Bandits. She is not happy about this at all. She knows the men in the band and she doesn't like them. She went to school with them and they made her life hell. The first meeting does not go well at first and she tells them she could care less if they wanted to work with her or not and walks out. Bryan comes running after her and talks her into coming back in. She tells them what is going to happen. Stone, Ennis, and Hugh are not happy to have a babysitter. There is an attraction on the guys part to Coral but she wants nothing to do with them. All three of the guys want Coral, but it is to share her. Things start going bad for the band and they are about to be dropped from the record label if they don't clean up their image. There is someone who wants to get back to the band and will do anything to do that. Coral goes to see her boss and she overhears someone talking, she recognizes the voice. She goes to tell Randall so they can come up with a plan to stop this person. She goes and talks to the guys and lets them know what is going on. Will Coral get the band's image changed? Will Stone, Ennis, and Hugh get Coral to stay with them? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend this book to anyone.
