IN A WORLD OF SECRETS SOME ARE MORE PAINFUL THAN OTHERS.
In Sodom, Lot struggles against the sin that surrounds his family, losing the battle and fleeing on the advice of strangers he believes might be angels sent by God.
And thousands of years later, Archaeology Professor Laura Palmer loses her brilliant brother in a tragic accident while excavating the possible site of the lost biblical city.
Ten years after his death, a shocking secret is revealed that sends Laura and her husband, James Acton, in a search for the truth, a truth that still lies buried in the ruins of Sodom.
A truth that triggers a race for a secret her brother died to keep out of the hands of those who would abuse his final technological breakthrough.

I am a huge fan of this series and this book number 37 kept me as entranced as the rest. It’s a dual timeline told Both BC in Sodom and Gomorrah, and in current time. Laura’s friend’s effort to give her a memory gift of her brother’s life coming to a sudden end 10 years ago turns into a much bigger deal. As forces from around the world converge on the Middle East, the excitement is just beginning. What a read!
Action and Lara have a barn burner of revelation. The unitand Kane get involved and the rest you will have to read. A real page turner nonstop action just great
I found that the story was very good as has all J.Rs previous books. I felt that the inclusion of so much about Lot was a bit of a distraction from the whole story.
Slightly different premise for this book - Can't go into details as it would spoil the story. A good story, well written as usual and with all the usual cast members. Enjoyed it; not quite as much action and I managed to guess the ending quite quickly. Well worth a read though
Book 37 was a fun read and had a few errors. The plot and characters are developed well and likable. The overall was fun and somewhat predictable, but had a few good twists.
I love these adventures!! The pages fly by until.. OH, what's next? Well developed characters get you truly caring about them and rooting for their success.
Another brilliant book in of the adventures of the Archaeologists' and Bravo Team . not going to give any spoilers but if your a fan its brilliant with a very surprising end
Very clever to weave in Sodom and Gomorrah into this story, complete with the return of Laura's brother - perfect suspense and lots of action, as usual.
Come on now. You write a great story only to seemingly hurry the end. Ten more pages and it would have been thoroughly great but it just seemed forced and a lot of issues left open.
