Another good read from Takalani.

Although Luzuko’s crazy was a bit extreme and when that was being resolved I may have felt that the rest of the chapters were know being filled with words that don’t add any value to the story. Perhaps going into the trauma Maria experienced in the months she was abducted through therapy and seeing a resolution in Njabulo and Tinyiko’s co-parenting situation could have been the additional stars needed to make this an excellent book but having said that, I’m yet to be disappointed by this author’s stories

I love this. I love a slow burn. This my first SA romance novel and I don’t like to dwell on how the story could’ve went,I just like that she kept it realistic. Njabulo is charming for a Zulu man even though some tendencies were telling in some scenes. I would love to see writers like these write for South African shows because SA has lost its touch with these corny shows. 4.5⭐️

“...this just a litle reminder that I love you and that you are so lucky to be married to a handsome man like me. Men are scarce.”

Maria frustrated me a lot at the beginning but as I read on, I fell in love with their love story.
I enjoyed every part of this book.

This was a lovely read, storyline similar to that of Her Silent Screams by Busisekile Khumalo. Girl falls in love, gets kidnapped, lover moves on ( expecting a baby), 1 baby later they find the girl, love rekindled and they live happily ever after. Emotional drama in-between.
