Weirdly fun (im preforming revisionist history right now). My favorite parts were learning about LBJ’s Great Society (and the whole line of “deals” starting with Teddy. Visiting his house was lots of fun too and is lowk a core memory for me.) and the Tariff of Abominations of 1828/Andrew Jackson/the Webster-Haynes Debate. Polk is the most underrated/unknown president in history imo. He did a lot and we don’t talk about it, which is a bit weird. I think we, as a society, should talk about Polk, LBJ, and Ulysses S. Grant more. Also the Granger Movement/Populist Party, the North Star, and the Liberator need to be discussed more definitely. However, I did NOT like imperialism or Manifest Destiny units/sub chapters. Just kinda lame.
