I read 1/2 of the first chapter of this book and realized I had been tricked again. I wasted $9.99 on this piece of trash, thinking it was by Liane Moriarty. Lianne Moriarty is a horrible writer and I’m sure is only able to sell her books by spelling her name one letter differently from excellent writer Liane Moriarty. Don’t bother reading this book.

Just a few pages in and I'm wondering I'd Liane Moriarty died and the publishers paid some ghost writer/8 year old to wite her book. I am amazed this author is allowed to publish without a middle initial or something! I got bamboozled by Amazon as well thinking I was pre paying for a new release of one of my fave authors. The writing is garbage. Thesaurus much? Creative writing anyone? Whoever encouraged this woman to write, should be slapped.

Shame on Amazon for selling and recommending this book when I search for new liane moriarty books. I feel like I have been conned out of $10. I did try to read but it was not very good. I guess I was expected a better written book.

Pure trash and I don’t mean the fun, juicy kind. Clearly I thought I was buying a book by LIANE Moriarty. Within a few pages, I was wondering what I was reading when there were TWO grammatical errors where this “author” had an ‘s on two words that were plurals, not possessives. The ghastly writing continued but I didn’t. I got up to Chapter 5 when I realized this could not possibly be the author I’ve known and read for many years.
This wannabe is perpetrating a scam by using a well-known author’s name with one extra letter so people will buy her trash.

From the first page I was gripped. Each time I thought I’d worked it out another twist appeared. I wanted to find out what happened to Willow, but I didn’t want to get to the end. it’s an engrossing unputdownable story from the first page to the last.

Disappointed!

I love all her books. Pre-ordered this. Its a hot mess. Even names are wrong for the same character, Mycala/Halee. She must have rushed a print date. No other excuse, its awful

A good read

A little slow to start and I struggled to stick with the characters. Not like Lainnes other work, I stuck to the end and its still a good read.

Terrible! Not written by Liane Moriarty it Lianne Moriarty with 2 N’s beware inferior author capitalizing on a great authors name. Shame!
