Did I just drool over my single dad boss? I think I did…
Eric is bad, bad news. Not because he’s a billionaire. And definitely not because he doesn’t know what to do with his late sister’s kid who is now his responsibility. He’s bad news because he doesn’t believe in love.
A woman from his past is to blame for creating this Grinch-like businessman. And now I have to pay the price for that as his nanny. Being his employee and sleeping with him comes at a huge risk. I can’t afford to lose my job. Yes, our age difference bothers me. Along with his cold heart, and no desire to have children. So imagine my shock when I find out that he is going to become a father…and my baby daddy. Eric may be my exact opposite, but he’s the only one that lights me up.
Kelly myers ini spesialis trope single mom/Single dad deh kayaknya. Semua ceritanya konsepnya sama aja tapi tetep suka karena aku pecinta trope single parent😀
Wowsa this book will have you enthralled from the beginning until the end and the storyline flowed throughout the book. Abby needs a job asap and when her sister tells her of a nanny job will she take it? Eric is into commercial real estate and billionaire who has an ex wife who is evil and wants nothing to do with women or children, but when his sister dies and leaves behind her 2 yes old daughter in Eric's care will he ever bond with her or just hire a nanny to raise her? Or will things become complicated? Great story and absolutely heartbreaking and devastating and chemistry and romance and love and hopefully happily ever after? This is my first book from this author and I can't wait for more.

Honestly this was zero stars for me but I’ll give it the benefit of being a decently written story. This was pretty much a DNF but I did skim through to see how it turned out. I started skimming from the very beginning where the first 10-15% is nothing but boring conversations and inner dialogue. His were all about work and what a grouch he is. Hers were about her past failed relationships and how she is currently an unemployed 25-year-old virgin loaded with college debt and forced to move back in with her parents. 😴😴😴
Eric (the sort-of but not really hero), is forced to take on childcare for his now deceased sister’s one-year-old daughter. He had a terrible father and a horrible experience with his nagging snob ex-wife, who is still a thorn in his side. He has 100% NEVER WANTED KIDS….EVER…and at 40, he’s pretty much stuck in his ways/ ideas. While he’s more than willing to hookup with his hot 25-year-old virgin nanny, that is all it could ever be for him- a hookup. Needless to say, heroine has to not only beg him to be more than a fling (he doesn’t even want to commit to being bf/gf…even though they live and sleep together…), but she can’t even convince him that he needs to step up and be more of a father-figure to his niece. He pawned his niece off to everyone he could since the moment her mother died and even contemplates ditching her completely. (Real charmer, this guy)
The sweetheart heroine spends the entire book convincing him to try to be a better guy while he just tells her to mind her business and go back to taking care of his niece (and keep putting out to him with zero commitment). This book had NO spice, like no sexy times at all, so I’m not sure when we were supposed to fall in love with this guy but it never happens. He finally decides to give the girl a chance at dating but by then she has another roadblock to tell him (guess what it is based on book title…). Do they get together because he’s stuck or for love, you decide. I would not have wasted so much time trying to beg and convince a guy to stay with me but we all have our limits….
Eric is a grumpy workaholic, and everything changes for him with one phone call. His baby sister has died in an accident, and he is left to be guardian of her daughter. His assistant tries to help but ends up telling him that he needs a nanny. Abby is looking for a job when she hears about the nanny position. Eric calls her immediately for an interview. Abby is stunned when he hires her before letting her meet his niece. Its not long before everything works out between Abby and her new charge. However, what she wasn't counting on his how attracted to Eric she is. Its not long before they give into temptation. Will this turn into something more?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I just can't get into the story when the guy went from "not a whole lot in the bank" to a billionaire in two years by flipping commercial properties. That takes time and also resources to buy the properties. Not believable at all!
I was disappointed by the assistant. She is a recent grandmother but couldn't help a clueless guy out for a night or two? She was with him for years but didn't like him enough to offer some instruction on how to care for an infant. So is this guy a big jerk and she only puts up with him for the money? Why didn't he take the baby back to his sister's apartment where all the baby gear/food is located? And why would someone from CPS hand the kid over after commenting that the car seat setup is illegal? Isn't it their job to keep the child safe? Just have him come back tomorrow with a different car.
This is an age gap, forbidden romance with the nanny.
Eric is savvy at business, but relationships and commitment are not so much. His childhood wasn't great, and his ex-wife did a complete number on him. Yet when he's left with no option, he takes in the biggest hurdle yet, raising his niece after the unexpected loss of his sister. This tiny bundle comes with responsibilities Eric is ill-prepared for. Thank goodness for a quick nanny.
Abby is at her wits end trying to find a job. She desperately wants out of her parents' house. So, of course, she jumps at the chance for the live-in nanny position for the billionaire real estate mogul. The only issue is that she's increasingly drawn to him, and resisting his magnetic pull is proving impossible. But they want student things, and fate is about to really put a monkey wrench into the mix.
Nun was soll ich sagen?
A great story of love and acceptance. Eric is a grumpy workaholic billionaire, and his life changes with one phone call saying his sister died. His baby sister died in a car crash, now he is guardian of her baby daughter. He’s under panic as he’s single, 40, and didn’t want children. His executive assistant tells him he needs a nanny ASAP and his friend recommends Abby. Abby is looking for a job when she hears about the nanny job from her sister. Eric called her for an immediate interview where he instantly offers her the job. All goes perfectly with her job she adores the baby but she wasn't counting on being so attracted to Eric, it seems mutual and it’s not too long before they give into temptation and sleep with each other. An accidental pregnancy has the potential to end things but I won’t spoil it.
Eric's world is rocked when he learns that his sister is killed, and she has left him sole custody of her daughter. He needs a nanny quickly and calls Abby and it starts their journey. As they build relationship feelings start to grow between them, but Eric has issues from past relationships between his father and ex-wife that prevents him from moving forward. When Abby realizes that she is pregnant will it end the relationship between her and Eric? I found myself connecting with the characters and cheering them on to finding happiness.

I really enjoyed reading the courtship/love story of Eric, Abby and Skylar. What a way to find love, nanny for a man who doesn't want kids. Eric gained custody of his baby niece when her mother died in a auto accident. Hence,Che needed a nanny. Abby was what both of them needed. She instantly ingrained herself to both of them. I enjoyed the descriptions of the people, the city (I don't remember where it was) they lived in, and their lively hood. Their courtship certainly had their ups and downs with a wicked witch of an ex-wife, his fear of being a father and not really understanding Abby. It's a good book! Written by Cindy :)
This time of year I love reading the holiday romances. This one was a wonderful read in my opinion and first time I’ve read this author. It’s About a grumpy workaholic Eric Sullivan who has lost his sister in a terrible car accident and now has been named guardian to her daughter Skylar. He has vowed never to get married again or even become a father because of his childhood. So he then hires Abby Tate fresh from college who is in need of a job as a nanny. There is a definite attraction between both of them. This is such a heartwarming story during the Christmas season.
This isn't a terrible story when you take into account the adult characters...but this is a 'falling for the nanny' trope so you should take in the children, too. In which case, that drove me nuts. Like the supposed two year old was written by someone who knows nothing about kids. (A two year old who isn't walking, talking, and is just getting her first 2 teeth at the start of the story...seriously, kept calling her two but also 'the baby' and her description definitely seemed more in line with 6 months to a year)
This was a good book. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Eric and Abby as well as the building connection with them. Both Abby and Eric fall hard and fast but Eric holds himself back because of his past. Now, Abby has to prove to Eric that he a good and everything that she, his neice, and their future baby needs.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Eric and Abby meet after he hires her to be a nanny for his niece. He needs her and Abby needs this job but they have very different views on relationships. They have that instant attraction but there are obstacles to any future together. Things are going to get complicated, especially if love is off the table for him. This was a good love story and I liked the characters. They slowly become a family.
Even the grumpiest and hardest of hearts can be softened and filled with love. That’s exactly what happens when Abby comes into Eric’s life.
Abby was hired as a nanny when Eric quickly gains custody of his niece and sparks start to fly. Abby always has a positive attitude and looks at things on the bright side and she tries hard to get Eric to see them as well. She is his ray of sunshine.
I liked the book a lot. Story flowed and likeable characters. My only issue was when describing Stella, and saying she’s two years old, it didn’t match up to anything they did or said about her (swings are for newborns; walking/ talking/ running around; teething). A lot of it sounded more like she should be two months, not years. Outside that it’s a good read.
Story reads fast, solid story line and writing. Finished it in a day. I enjoyed it very much.
Not actually a “Daddy” trope story.
Eric loses his sister, and ends up taking his niece to raise. He hires Abby as the nanny and they fall for each other. Eric has a lot to learn about being a parent and a partner. Story made me cry at the end, quite a bit of angst.
There are some good steamy scenes. A smidge of dirty talk.
The story wasn’t bad but the author doesn’t have or has never been around children. First the baby is one but still uses an infant swing. Then the nanny gets pregnant within a month of working for the uncle and when she has the baby, suddenly the first baby is three, still uses a high chair and doesn’t talk? Also, the speed of the relationship was way to fast and a little unbelievable
This was an amazing but emotional story. I love the characters and the storyline. This is one of those stories that will have your emotions all over the place. I loved it and recommend reading it. Looking forward to reading more from the author.

OMG Kelly Myers did a beautiful job with this story. I loved how a man who thought her couldn't find any love in his heart did,but it took time and lots of love from the right woman. And to take his sister's child in and raise her like his own was good. Sure it took a while, but in the end they got their HEA. Worth getting and reading for sure.
This story tells of a man that thinks love and family is not for him until her meets the young woman that is to be the nanny for his nice.then things start to change for him and he finds out what he wants out of life.I would like to say thank you for all your hard work and may fortune smile 😃on you always 😁from a bookworm
Burned once by an ex, we find a 10 foot wall around a man who looses his sister and becomes an instant dad when he has to take in her baby girl. Finding a nanny was easy and as weeks pass, that nanny breaks down his walls. They go up instantly when the ex pops in.She is pushed away and well, now he finds himself with out that nanny, read to fins out what happens
A little predictable, but good mash up of tropes-grumpy sunshine/age gap/surprise pregnancy/single dad. The way he became a single dad was sad but meaningful. I wish that part of the family history had been filled out a little more during the big confession/revelation of feelings.
Bless! What the heck is wrong with the authors that have to use the “F” word every other paragraph and then the Lord’s name in vain. I don’t and absolutely don’t recommend this book.
The most surface level book I've ever read. Wouldn't recommend to anyone unless they just have an obsession for books involving nannies. Not titled as aptly as it could be.
