Who’s looking for his mate, and because he hasn’t found her, he goes feral. Dirty in the streets and the sheets 😉.

Noah (33) has been unhinged and is being hunted by the Mercenaries, who are shifters, because they’re tasked with putting rabid shifters. Just like in book 1, they’re ready to get him and he’s ready to go too; he’s been searching for his mate and he’s done. But his inner Kodiak Bear isn’t going down without a fight.

Everyone was afraid when he strolled out of the forest, but I was intrigued. It was the most beautiful animal I’d ever seen. I felt almost drawn to him.

Layla’s out in the woods with her friends when she sees these men attacking this poor bear. Being all about animal rights and against animal abuse, she confronts these hunters with her trusty shotgun and scared them off. When she turns around, the bear is not longer there, and in his place is a man…

What I liked:
—the 🔥. Although both of the MCs are Vs, that doesn’t prevent Noah from having a duuuurty mouth. I love a man that eats a hearty breakfast, and Noah does 💅. He also has to go in inch by inch because he’s so… big 🤷🏻‍♀️. Layla, you lucky lucky girl 😉. He’s primal and dirty in the streets and the sheets 🥵

“Open up for your man,” I say as I start to separate her legs. “Show me what I can’t live without.”

—how protective they BOTH are. Not only is Noah protective, but Layla is too 💁🏻‍♀️. She’ll defend her mate from anyone (and he will too)

—the mercenaries. I’m wondering if we’re going to get books on these men 👀. We saw them in book 1… so I’m just hoping we do. I wanna get to know the Frenchman more 👀

—the cute epilogues. We get two, one 6 months later and the other 9 years later. OTT writes such cute ones

—dual Vs. He waited to find his mate 🥹❤️yeah, I know. It’s soooo unlikely. But you know what? I. Don’t. Care 🤣 itd realistic to me 😭

”Yes, that’s exactly what it means. I’m a virgin too. I’ve never been with another woman. Never even kissed one. I never had a desire to. I’ve been waiting for you all these years, sexy girl, and now that you’re here, I’m ready to make up for all of the lost time.”

What I wanted more of:
—length (🤣🤣🤣 of the book!). We get brief intros to some of the side characters but not enough to care too much. We also get the whole “they talked and got to know each other”… meanwhile, I’m just waiting to get to know them too 😅

Overall, I really enjoyed it ❤️

Ay no, me dió tremendo cringe, al inicio lo estaba disfrutando incluso un poquito más que el primero y si está hot y lo que gustes, PERO VOLVEMOS CON LAS PLATICAS CALIENTES QUE DAN PENA, ¿porqué dice esas cosas de embarazarla? ¿Porqué está tan obsesionado con la virginidad? ¿Porqué? Real hasta me daba como cosita no se, asquito o algo.

We all know Olivia has a definite writing style, and this novella fits that to a T! Noah and Layla's romance was short, sexy, and oh so satisfying. I liked how Layla was a badass in her own right and wasn't afraid to protect her mate against a team of deadly mercenary shifters. This novella was exactly what I was in the mood for, and I look forward to the rest of the series🖤

Noah's Kodak has snapped, tired of waiting to find their mate he is off the rails and straight up feral. With laws in place to handle shifters who go feral he is now being hunted and Noah knows it's for the best but when he finally is willing to give in his mate finally appears. Layla is the only one who can tame this beast, but will that even be enough to prove he has changed, or will he still have to meet his doom for the things his Kodiak has done? This quick read is off the charts steamy, and I enjoyed seeing the different shifters.

A quick and easy read.

This was a fun read. Shifter books are some of my favorites. The idea of a shifter going feral without their mate is great. When Noah is just about to be taken out, he meets Layla and things change for the better. There was the signature OTT heat baked into this book and that’s always a good time.

I am also loving this idea of a task force charged with taking out the feral shifters. The whole concept is great. Getting a series about those guys finding mates would be fantastic.

A fun little read that didn’t disappoint.

This is another great read by this author and I am loving the idea of the feral shifters...and the group of hunters that polices them. Layla and Noah's story was quite intense and very insta-everything ;P Layla was fierce, though, in protecting Noah from the hunters, despite being a sweet and innocent gal. Their love was OTT, and their chemistry, hot. With the addition of the drama and action, it was a one-sit read for me :D

It sounded more interesting than it really was. I had reread a Jessa Kane book right before this one and it’s an interesting juxtaposition. Not because they are different genres. They are identical in that regard. Both over the top insta love. The difference is JK’s books just feel more … believable? I don’t know if that’s really the right word but you can definitely feel that her characters are obsessed with each other. In OTT’s books, she just has them SAY they love each other but I can’t really feel it. They might be in the same category but they are not the same.

I gotta admit I'm loving these kind of shifter stories that OTT is giving us!
I love the idea of a shifter just feeling as if life is too much and the animal side just going feral because they've had to live so long without their mate.
Noah's kodiak bear has been causing mayhem and destruction throughout the states. Just when the mercenary hunters catch up to him and he's ready to surrender and let them take his life, he catches the one scent that gives him more cause to fight. His mate is there holding a shotgun to the hunters demanding they let his bear go.
When Layla and her cousins all saw the kodiak bear come out of the forest, while everyone else was trying to climb scared, she wished she was down on the ground. She felt no fear only a closeness and some connection to him. So when she hears fighting happening she goes to protect the bear from what she believes is poachers.

However, things start to make more sense (in regards to the connection she felt with him) when he shifts from bear to human and lets Layla in on the secret of her being his mate. The one woman he's been looking for for years, the one who calms his feral bear, and the one he will love for the rest of his life.
Once again the mercenary hunters are seeing a feral shifter completely come back from the edge once their mates are found. But are they going to let Noah go free?.

I feel like I almost regret that the h saved his sorry ass. Why? Why women write about such guys like it’s something appropriate for our moral orientation in looking for HEALTHY relationships.

“His big masculine balls…” - I am sorry what? They can be feminine? Like in smaller size or cuter tone of skin?

“… destined for her ripe little cunt. I am going to coat her FRESH virgin womb with my seed…” - Fresh womb? Do you know her expiration date?

I understand how this works for faited mates in this universe, but she could be drunk or alone and could have an intercourse with someone, or r*ped, or she could use some toys for self care.

I don’t even start with his desire to impregnate poor lady not having even his own trousers. How are you going to build healthy environment? What about to wait until you find at least some kind of job?

Noah is a bear shifter who never found his mate. His bear has gone feral and Noah has lost all control of him. His bear hates hearing people having fun and laughing in his territory and it has now claimed the whole mountain range. His bear hears a group of hikers and rock climbers talking and having fun and goes after them. Noah can't stop his bear but hopes they can get away from his angry bear. Then a group of mercenary rogue hunters show up and attack him. Noah is sad he is going to die but he knows his bear needs to be taken down because he is too destructive and out of control. Then Layla, one of the rock climbers comes storming in to his rescue. When Noah's bear hears Layla and smells her scent, he realizes that he has finally found his mate. Now he just has to break the news to his mate and enjoy a few hours together before he gets hunted down again.

Layla is witch who loves rock climbing. When she and her friends are about to start a climb an angry bear comes rushing up. Then some guys on motorcycles come roaring up and attack the bear. Layla is angry about their mistreatment of the bear and runs to his rescue. She feels strongly protective of the bear and ends up threating the hunters. Now she has an injured bear on her hands that suddenly shifts into a human.

He’s in his bear form and his bear is mad and agitated at the thought of not having his mate and has been being chases by Jackson and his triage for a while. They finally catch up to him and leave him badly injured till a mountain climber comes and chases them off with her shotgun. She tries to help him but he changes to his human form and she’s like where’s the bear and he’s like I am the bear and she’s in disbelief and is like transform and he does and she’s in shock. They have this connection that soon turns out to be that their mates. He tells her that in her car where she tells him to spill everything and he does and it’s sad to see that he’s been alone for years roaming about but then he asks her and she’s like I’m here for my sisters wedding. Things get steamy and they go at it till the triage comes back and she’s like he’s changed and they need a lot of convincing till they leave. His bear is agitated that his mark isn’t on her so she lets him mark her😤😤😫. The end.

This is part of the Nasty Rabid Beasts each book can be read as a standalone with a sexy shifter, his feral beast, and the women who calms them both making sure they aren’t put down. Noah sexy as all get out Kodiak bear who is nearly feral due to not finding his mate knowing he only had a few more days before the Foxhound hunters track him to end his misery and ensuring they as well as human are safe because a feral bear kills everything /everyone in their path. Layla sweet but not to bright because she jumps in front of a very large bear protecting him keeping the hunters from killing him, she is just a little human trying to protect him and the bear is excited to have found his mate and isn’t going to allow anyone to harm her but is it enough to keep the hunters from achieving their goal of putting him down, will she be able to calm his bear, will his bear listen to his little mate, but will she stick around once she knows he isn’t just a bear she protected but a man, can they convince the hunters to leave them be, and can they find happiness somewhere along the journey?.

I am really digging this feral shifter series that Olivia is writing. She packs in the spice with an unexpected emotional punch and just the right amount of action in a fast paced quick read.

I adore Layla - she’s the type of heroine I get a kick out of when they appear. She puts her own fear on the back burner to protect innocents, even if they’re feral shifters. I found myself laughing more than once at how she threatened other shifters without hesitation.

Noah broke my heart at first. This man had given up hope on finding his mate and was willing to let it all end since his bear had gone feral. That is until a blonde beauty showed up and saved him from the mercenaries that were hunting him.

I devoured this in one sitting, Olivia truly had me glued to my kindle from start to super sweet finish. It’s low drama, high heat with Olivia’s signature OTT style. She still amazes me with how she can have an amazing story that will pull my heart strings one minute and pant the next while keeping it a quick read. A perfect pallet cleanser before I dive into another and I can’t wait to see what her next feral shifter story brings.

Olivia has done it again!
This time to bond is between Layla and Noah. Noah is being hunted and Layla is following an inexplicable need to go save this bear that is being hunted. She gets away from her rock climbing group to go save this bear. Little does she know she is about to rescue her fated mate, a Kodiak bear shifter. The premise is almost the same as the first novella. If you enjoyed it like I did, you will love this story.
Noah's bear has gone feral since he has spent his whole life looking and not finding his fated mate, and was ready to be killed, but our badass heroine was not going to let that happen, and the two meet and insta love with insta sparks galore! The fierce love is there between the two, (I love it!) She is determined to save him and love him! The sex is hot, the love is sweet and I will reread this series.

This was another amazing OTT read!!! Omg my, right away I was pulled into the action as our H and his bear were having quite the fight with everyone and everything. The writing style she has is clear and easy to bet right into and the storyline is so fun as we return to the word of the shifters. This pairing is pretty sexy and together they calm his bear.

His bear was lethal and he couldn't tame it anymore. He needed had s mate and when she came around it became calm. She was now his in every way.

Wow, for someone with issues with his bear, he sure turned around for the better, getting a very feisty female! What was a strong woman and she had me cracking up when she met her bear, she didn't believe him at first but she finally came around after I was done laughing! They have great chemistry and thankfully everything worked out for them. This was a very sweet and sexy read. Another awesome book by OTT. The characters are well developed and the storyline is so fun and yet endearing. I just love her books and this one is no exception!!

This was a cute insta-love romance with an over-the-top alpha and innocent heroine. I love how fierce Layla was even against scary large men. She embraced Noah as her mate and didn’t fight their connection. Fans of steamy insta-love shifter novellas will love this installment!

Noah is a bear shifter desperately fighting for control over his feral bear. He’s given up hope of finding his mate and getting his bear to calm down. When the mercenaries find him and are getting ready to put him down, Layla comes to his rescue and defends Noah with her life.

I loved Layla’s strength and determination. Nothing and no one was stopping her from building a life with her mate. It was great that she didn’t back down or act helpless.

Noah was shocked and excited to finally find his mate. And to see her defend his injured bear showed him how perfect she is for him. But there’s still the threat that the mercenaries will be back to finish what they started.

Together, Noah and Layla showed that they are not only mates but that they will handle everything as a team. Loved their story! 💜

I thoroughly enjoyed this instalove, high heat romance between Noah and Layla. I have to admit, it's Layla who grew to be my favorite character. She's fierce and does not back down when it comes to defending her mate.

At the story's beginning, Noah has lost all hope of finding his mate. He's turned feral and is in despair. But then he sees Layla. When Noah and his bear realize she is their mate, Noah now has a life worth living. When they have to face some feral hunters who are after them, Noah will do anything to protect her. The story moves quickly and pulled me in right away. I loved reading it, and the epilogue made me laugh.

Nossa, como eu amei esse livro! Se eu tinha achado a mocinha do livro 1 valente, era porque eu ainda não tinha conhecido a Layla aqui. A mulher não so era valente, mas também era armada e perigosa, disposta a fazer qualquer coisa para salvar o Noah - mesmo antes de saber que o urso que ela tentava salvar ERA o Noah. Amo como os casais dessa série, nesses dois primeiros livros, se entregaram ao sentimento e mergulharam fundo nele, enfrentando tudo juntos, lutando - literalmente lutando - pelo amor deles, pelo direito de ficarem juntos. Noah e Layla formaram um casalzão e tanto! Nuuusss, eu estou apaixonada demais da conta! Esse livro com certeza entrou na minha lista de favoritos. Amei muito, muito mesmo! Spoiler alert: Noah is a feral Kodiak bear, more beast than bear. He has been feral for months now, he can't even shift into his human form anymore. A group of shifter mercenaries' have been sent to take him out. Noah is ready to go too, he is so tired of living in his feral bear. When he accepts that these mercenaries' are ready to take him out Layla walks in and saves him. This is one fast over the top instalove steamy read. Noah and Layla are great together, an unstoppable bear shifter and the love of his life. Fun, fast steamy read and a standalone. Excellent.

Short and steamy story. I shed a few tears for Noah, he has been through so much with his kodiak and when there is nearly no hope, he finds his Layla. Layla and Noah are so sweet together, also it is not the best place to meet the more or less rabid bear mate hanging in the cliffs, but she is immediately protecting him. They fit so well together.

Layla was out rock climbing when her group is approached by a feral Grizzly.
Layla and her friends were out rock climbing when they notice an approaching Grizzly which rumages in their bag knocking the cooler over th edge. There is the noise of motorbikes. Layla hear sounds od fighting ang pain and goes to investigate and finds the bikers attacking the bear.Noah know his bear has gone feral waiting for his mate and now the Foxhounds have caught up with him. A beautiful woman interrupts them and he scents her realizing that she is his mate.

Este oso Kodiak, que siempre estuvo solo, finalmente encontró a su compañera y, con ella, las ganas de luchar contra quienes lo cazan para poder ser feliz. 🥲💗 Noah daba por hecho que los cazadores acabarían con su oso, hasta que ¡bam! Aparece Layla, quien parece ser su compañera, apuntando a los cazadores con una escopeta para salvarlo, convencida de que se trata de una caza furtiva. Creo que esta pareja es mi favorita hasta ahora: su dinámica es increíble y son puro amor. Además, Layla resulta ser igual o incluso más protectora con su mate que el propio Noah, así que me enamoré de ellos de principio a fin. 🤍✨

Noah hadn’t found his mate so his bear took over and turned feral so the shifter council hired a group of mercenaries to kill him. Noah’s bear just chased some rock climbers up the mountain but when it sounded like the bear was getting beaten Layla took a rifle to where he was. She threatened them to leave or get shot, the bear caught her scent he let Noah out. He explained everything to her and Layla took it in stride, had to prove to the mercenaries that he was no longer feral. Good book!.

This was an awesome short PNR that will have you swooning and rooting for Noah. Noah and Layla were wonderful together and I loved how protective of not only Noah was of Layla but of Layla was of Noah. Once Layla made up her mind that Noah was her mate, she was all in and she wasn't going to let someone else get in the the way of HEA. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see of the rest of this series has in store for us next.
