This book is not for the faint of heart. It’s not for those seeking the sugar coated, bouncing butterfly-tales of miracle pregnancy experiences. This book is for those wanting to know the nitty gritty truth. This book is for all those pregos out there that are going through the dark side of pregnancy and just want to know they’re not alone. This book is for all the curious women that are wondering if pregnancy is really as great as everyone makes it out to be. This book is for all the significant others whose pregnant partner is acting like a hormonal maniac, and they just want to know if it’s time to commit them to a mental hospital or if this truly is normal. As a woman that was pregnant while on Active Duty in the U.S. Army, this book also contains a few personal tips and experiences solely related to pregnant Soldiers. Finally, this book is for me. This is a journal of my pregnancies. This is a tribute to myself and all the other wonder women that push through the ugly side of pregnancy, some with dignity, some of us with not so much, and whichever way we get there, we finally get to the end of the journey and are hopefully rewarded with the blessing of bringing new life into the world. This book also lightly shares the heartbreaking experience of when the end of the pregnancy journey brings sorrow instead of elation. This book is meant to remind you that you’re not alone in this.
