I wasn't expecting such a nice book for beginner witches, but I'm very happy I got it!

The main thing I liked about it is that the information is not always presented to the reader as pages full of text. The book uses a lot of simple images and smaller text boxes to highlight important information or keywords for the topic being explained, which I found very useful for a quick search, but also made me able to read faster and remember more things about what was being said.

The second thing I liked the most about it, is the fact that almost everything mentioned in the introduction chapter as good beginner topics is shown in the rest of the book (the only topic that isn't explained is "history of witchcraft", which is understandable for the purpose of the book).

It has a lot of information on the basic things you need to know to start doing your spells and rituals, and also mentions important things like respecting closed practices, being careful when foraging for wild plants, protecting your energy, practicing self-care and respecting your body.

I also really liked the introduction chapter as a whole because it really gives that feeling of "you don't need to rush it." It starts by deconstructing some wrong ideas that we've been seeing around and that can be very harmful to any practitioner, but especially to beginners.

Another very good thing about this book is that the author uses her own experiences as a little guide for those who might be feeling lost, but it's not something predominant through the book, so it doesn't make the reading boring or tiring. She also gives you a starting point with some ideas of what to start studying, a few nice recipes, and many tips.

The only negative point is that sometimes the author repeats some information, but it didn't really bother me that much since the rest of it was very nice. Really recommend, especially for beginners!
