Sometimes…if you are a very good boy…Santa brings you a daddy.
Aster has been very good. He’s done everything he promised his daddy he would when he left for his last business trip three years earlier, the one that ended in tragedy. Aster eats three meals a day even when he doesn’t want to, he stays hydrated, he doesn’t let anyone make him feel bad for who he is, and he colors a picture every night before bed. Aster is a very good boy—he’s also very lonely.
Maybe he should write a letter to Santa?
Theodore’s heart breaks for his next-door neighbor. After losing his husband in a freak accident, he’s been but a shell of himself. All he wants to do is give him a hug and take all the hurt away, like a good daddy should. Only he’s not his daddy and, for all he knows Aster isn’t into daddies.
Everything changes when Theodore picks up a piece of what he thinks is trash only to discover it’s Aster’s list for Santa, a list that includes two things: a daddy who will love me and a teddy bear.
A Little Christmas: Aster features a widowered little whose list for Santa includes a daddy of his own, a daddy who would love nothing more than for that daddy to be him, a dream come true—literally, true love, Christmas magic, and a happily ever after.
***A Little Christmas: Aster is an MM Daddy/Little Christmas twist on the Little Princess Classic. Each age play romance book in this multi-author series can be read as a standalone.
I really thought I would be all emotional and teary throughout this romance...NOPE...there are sad times but Aster totally surprised me and I was happy with it. Such a bossy lil little but real sweet too. So glad that Theodore was his neighbor and gotten to know Aster and wanted to be his "papa". Spoiled him to pieces...LOL...but that's just what his lil reindeer needed. This made me smile and I really enjoyed reading this holiday daddy/boy romance:).

4,5 stars A Little Christmas: Aster by Della Cain is part of the A Little Christmas series by multiple authors. This book is about Aster and Theodore. Aster is a Little who lost his Daddy 3 years ago. Theodore's heart breaks for his next door neighbor who is a shell of himself after losing his husband. When he finds Aster's letter to Santa.....
I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, full of feels and very well written.
This was a wonderfully sweet yet heartbreaking yet heartmending book! My heart so much for Aster but I loved how much he has come. Theodore is drawn to Aster but don't do anything until he has a little help from Santa. Aster just wants a Daddy and a teddy but Aster gets so much more with Theodore. I loved this book and I can't wait for more from Della and from this series.

An age-play-little story that starts off so sad I was in tears when Theodore found Aster’s letters to his deceased husband/daddy. A story of grief, healing, and finding a second love. Sweet story.
Aster has been very good. He has done everything he promised his Daddy he would when he left for his last business trip three years earlier which ended in tragedy. He eats three meals a day, stays hydrated, doesn't let anyone make him feel bad for who he is and colours a picture every night. However, he is very lonely on his own and so he writes a letter to Santa asking for a new Daddy. Theodore's heart breaks for his next-door neighbour as he has only been a shell of himself since losing his husband. He just wants to give Aster a hug and take the hurt away just like a Daddy would. Everything changes when he picks up a piece of trash and sees the letter to Santa asking for just two things - a Daddy who will love him and a teddy bear.
This was a heartbreaking story of a little who had married his daddy and had then tragically lost him in a freak accident. Doing his best to cope with his life he was fortunate that his new neighbour was a Daddy who was happy to get to know Aster and love him just as he deserved. I loved their dates and the way that even the weather conspired to put them together. Definitely, a HEA although you might have a few tears on the way. There is mature MM content in this BSDM like DDLB type story. This novella is part of the A Little Christmas series where the stories are all stand-alone and can be read in any order.
This is a beautiful read Aster lost his daddy three years ago Due to a drunk driver. You see Aster is a little and to this day he still continues by his daddy’s rules. One night after another nightmare he decides to write Santa a letter asking for a daddy to love him and tutu for CupCake. Theodore lives next door to Aster and had seen him grieve but he didn’t know if he was the right man for him as he liked age play. Meaning he is a Daddy. When he pops out to take Princess for a walk he finds part of a letter that obviously proves that Aster is a little. But would they make a good couple?? This is a beautiful book that had me nearly in tears at times. Theo is just perfect for Aster. The times that they had together just made my heart warm. The way he becomes his daddy is just beautiful. Am I using the word beautiful too much but I don’t care because that is what this book is it is sensitive it is touching but don’t think because I’m saying it’s beautiful there’s no passion because believe me between these two men there is lots and lots of passion. It was just the connection that they have that is just stunning.

This story is everything you want in a holiday romance. Aster, is mired in grieving mode for his daddy, Keith who was killed by a drunk driver, 3 years previously. He is lost without his Daddy guiding him but he's trying to hold on and maintain. He finds comfort writing to Keith, then he discards the letters. This time, he writes to Santa asking for a Daddy who will love him and a new teddy bear, Cupcake has fallen victim to an over vigorous washing machine and is ready to retire. Theodore, moved next door to Aster shortly before Keith died. Theo was ready to settle down and look for his forever little. He did not know where the kink scene was in his new city, and he hoped to find out. By accident he found out Aster was in the scene also. Next time he saw Aster, he used his Daddy voice. The author weaves a sweet story of getting acquainted and exploration. Aster and Theordore are absolutely delightful. Will Aster accept Theodore as his new Papa? Will Theodore declare his Daddy intentions to Aster? Can they be what each other needs at this time? Excellent story, nicely paced great characters. Well done! This book is a part of the A Little Christmas series and focuses on Theodore and Aster. Aster is a little who lost his husband/Daddy three years prior in an accident. One day he decides that he is finally ready to find a new daddy. He decides to write a letter to Santa and put the top 2 things he wants for Christmas on the list. He just wants a daddy who loves him for him and a new teddy bear. Theodore has been Aster’s next door neighbor for a few years and has been attracted to him for a bit. One day he helps take out Aster’s trash and he finds his letter to Santa and he finds out that Aster is ready for a new daddy and he knows that he wants to be the daddy for him. I love how seamlessly they fell into their relationship and how perfect they were for each other. Theodore just wanted to make all of Aster’s wishes come true and went out of his way to bring him joy and happiness. I would have loved to see even more about them! This was such a great story and a great addition to the series.

I like this author's little stories. Aster's husband died in a car crash and 3 years later he's ready to move on if not sure how. Theodore is his next door neighbor who vaguely knew his husband before he died and kind of looks out for Aster, things like taking the bins out when he forgets, and stumbles across a letter that Aster is looking for a daddy, which Theodore just so happens to be. When Aster comes over to thank him for taking the bins out, Theodore makes his move and invites him in and they start talking about dating.
I liked that Aster's dead husband was not portrayed as some kind of bad guy. He was older and maybe not as out with the little stuff, but he still loved Aster and they were happy. Theodore has a cute lazy dog which is cute and Theodore's acceptance of Aster's life before was nice. So it was cute, little angst, and just a young man (he was 25 when his husband was killed) moving on.
Aster is a Little who lost his Daddy 3 years ago. This Christmas, he decides to write a letter for Santa asking for a teddy bear and a new Daddy. When his neighbor Theodore finds the letter that Aster drops on accident, it makes his Daddy's heart swell and break a little for Aster. Since Teddy is a Daddy without a Little, he sets out to give little Aster everything he wants for Christmas.
I really liked this DDlb book. I am fond of the genre, and this one was very well written. The chemistry between the MC's was really good. I was heartbroken for Aster, but so glad that he was finally over the loss of the Daddy he lost and ready to put himself out there again. I was glad at the way Theodore treated Aster with respect and took his cues from the sweet boy. This was a cute holiday read. Well worth your time.

Aster has been grieving the loss of his Daddy and husband for the last few years after he died in a car accident. He has been following his daddy's rules even with him gone and has been a very good boy. However he has been very lonely and is starting to feel the need for a new daddy to love him and care for him. He is scared though so he writes a letter for Santa asking for a daddy to love him and care for him and a new bear. Aster is surprised when he learns that a new daddy lives right next door.
Theo has been drawn to Aster since he moved in but at first Aster was happily married. After Aster lost his Daddy and husband, Theo keeps his distance giving him time to grieve but he knows he and Aster would be perfect together. One day when he helps take the garbage to the curb when Aster forgot, he sees Aster's letter to Santa. Theo will do whatever it takes to be Aster's new daddy.

Aster is a little without a daddy, and a widower without a partner. He usually writes letters to his Daddy to share things, but this holiday season he decides to write his letter to Santa instead... and asks for a new Daddy...
Theodore has been helping Aster with small things - like putting his trash out to the curb, so when a stray Santa letter flies into his possession, he knows that it's time to help give Aster what he wants for Christmas...
A Little Christmas: Aster is a sweet, low angst holiday story that involves two men connecting and making a connection that works... it's a lot sweet, a little steamy and a great addition to the A Little Christmas series. A quick read that is perfect for an afternoon when you want a sweet little story. This story can be read standalone and in any order with others in the series.
A sweet Christmas read Aster lost his husband / daddy three years ago, and was very lonely. He kept up with what his daddy expected of him. One night as he decides to write a letter to his husband he changes his mind and writes one to Santa asking for a teddy and a daddy. As his next door neighbor's was putting his rubbish out he notices Aster's is still by his house. So Theo collects it. He finds a letter on the ground to Santa from Aster.. Theo couldn't believe eyes. As he had not long moved into the area , he didn't know the clubs around where he could find a boy/ little. Love how their relationship grew and how ready Aster was ready for a new daddy. Beautifully written, thoroughly enjoyed I received an advanced copy of this book from Booksprout for a honest review. Highly recommend
I was unsure at first about reading a book about a widower because that hurts too much on a personal level but Cells Cain is an author I can not say no to. If I see a book came out, my eager reader self will be pulling that on my kindle. So I dove in and I'm glad I did. This is one of my favorites! Lets tackle the subject that I was worried about first - yes there is a loss and it does hit you in the emotions but I felt it was balanced with the sweetness of other aspects in the story . these characters are adorable and fun... With that hotness thrown. The story is sweet and I loved getting to see Water find his Chapter Two.
Aster's Daddy/Husband died 3 years ago, and he's decided he's finally ready to find a new Daddy, but has no idea how to go about doing so. When he unexpectedly finds one in his neighbor, Theodore, happiness finds its way into his life again.
The story was sad in the beginning, but then it evolved into a sweet and happy story. I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would because I felt once their relationship started, it moved too fast from acquaintances to suddenly being in love.
There was plenty of Christmas holiday fun into be had.
I loved this book. I was hooked from the start and couldn't put it down. I fell in love with Aster and Teddy so quickly. My heart broke for Aster after his husband and Daddy was killed in an accident, leaving him alone, sad and lonely. After three years and reoccurring nightmares, Aster decides enough. He writes a letter to Santa asking for a Daddy to love him and a new teddy bear. Theodore, his neighbor, has been keeping an eye on Aster since he's always alone after his husband's death. He finds Aster's letter and decides to try and make his Christmas wish come true. A sweet, cute romance! I loved every page! 5 stars.
This is another great Christmas book to read. Aster is a Little and has not had the Christmas Spirit for three years. Aster lost his husband three years before and is finally ready to start lookig again. Aster writes Santa a letter and then throws it away. It is trash day and Theo takes his trash cans o the curb and then gets his neighbors also. Theo finds the note to Santa and reads it. Theo is dertermined tomake this Christmas a good one for Aster. Will Aster get his Christmas wish of a Daddy and a teddy bear????.

Ever since his tragic loss, Aster has been very good at keeping the promises he made to his daddy. Aster is getting lonelier as the days pass, and knows that he needs to do something about it. He decides to write a letter to Santa. Theodore has watched as Aster has continued day after day after his loss, and his heart breaks for him. When the opportunity presents itself, Theodore jumps at the chance to give the man of his dreams everything that he wants this year. Will Theodore and Aster find their way to each other?
4,5 ⭐️ This novella/ short is part of the 'A Little Christmas' multi author series. This one by Della Caine hits the right tone for me.They, to me, wrote a well rounded story. Aster and Theodore their story was a endearing, sweet and cute and right for them both. I enjoyed how Theodore found out Aster was looking for a daddy and how gentle, and fitting they are with the other and seem to be a natural match. Ofcourse Theodore becomea Aster his papa and they find their hfn/hea.

“Life will never be boring with you around, will it?”
This is such a sweet 'little' holiday read. For such a short book it really packs a wallop and I loved it.
I love these guys so much!!! There was great chemistry between them and the compassion Theodore had for Aster was everything. There wasn't one thing I didn't like about this book.
This book is part of a multi-authored series of 13 books called A Little Christmas.
Three years ago, a drunk driver took Aster's husband from him. Finally ready to move forward, he writes a letter to Santa asking for a teddy bear and a new daddy. Theodore has watched out for his widower neighbor as best he can. Setting out the day's garbage bins, he finds a note from Aster to Santa. Like most Daddy/little relationships, things move fast. This is a little more angsty than most Cain's stories, but it's sweet. And fast moving. A fun read.
I love Della Cain’s stories but put off reading this one because I felt sorry for Aster when reading the blurb. I’m glad I did eventually read it though because it’s a sweet, gentle story about finding new love after tragedy without being heartbreakingly sad. The characters were kind to one another and their romance developed naturally. It was lovely to see Aster find someone who loved him and where that led.
A Little Christmas Aster is part of the multi author series, A Little Christmas. Aster lost his husband and Daddy three years before in an accident and is finally able to move on. He writes a note for Santa and his neighbor Theodore finds it. This was super sweet and steamy. Overall, a nice holiday surprise! Well written with great pacing that kept me engaged.
This is such a sweet holiday read! Aster was so adorable and Theodore was just the sweetest! These two were just amazing together! Such a wonderful and touching story! A quick and very enjoyable read that I highly recommend!.

Although this was a shorter book of the series, it was the cutest. Aster was a cute Little with no brat or spoiled attitude. He had already suffered a loss and after 3 years, decided to move on. As fate would have it, his next door neighbor turns out to be the answers to his prayers. Totally enjoyed it.
I enjoyed Aster and Theodore’s story. I especially liked Aster. From the book’s description, I thought he was going to be somewhat sad and very needy, but not at all. He’s sweet, sassy, strong, and confident in who he is and what he wants. He’s had a difficult time, but is ready to live life again and Theodore is the perfect papa to help Aster do just that.
Very sweet "little" Christmas story. Aster lost his daddy, his husband, in an accident three years before. Now, his neighbor Teddy seems to be a good man and might even be a daddy. Aster's ready to find out and move forward with his life.
The story was cute, sweet, light, and full of warm holiday feels.
I loved A Little Christmas: Aster by Della Cain. I loved Aster and Theodore's story. I loved that Santa gave Aster his Christmas wish. Theodore was a perfect papa for Aster, and Aster was a perfect little for Theodore. This was another great book by Della Cain.
