I read all these books in the series and realized I had not written a review for them! So here is the review for this one.
Safe
No cheating
No OM/OW (just another idiot bothering the heroine, but Lobo punches him! *evil face*)
DUAL VIRGINS/FATED MATES (in it's truest form, the hero has his sexual awakening and his dick get hard for the first time when he finds his mate)
HEA
These two are gamers and get to know each other in the online world, with a mysterious anonymity that is fun and intriguing! Now, how Lobo scents the Gail is HILARIOUS! He catches a wiff of his mates scent, and then sees a beautiful woman at Holly and Vargr's wedding. His mate. His legs just start walking towards her and his dick just wakes up for the first time pointing to her as if to say, 'thataway!' and then BAM, everything goes black....he hit his head on a beam because he is tall, has his first hard on and was distracted! BAHAHA!! Now that is a way to try to meet your mate, but he didn't get to because when he came to, she left the wedding. Lobo is confused because he already knows that his gamer girl is the one that has his heart and is his mate, so he can't possibly scent another woman, it just doesn't happen....but the chances of them being one in the same is very low...right? I LOVE that. It shows the power of soulmates, he met her online and just knew she was his and then scented her, so he fell in love not because of smells and pheromones, but by knowing her without even seeing or smelling her. THIS is the true depiction of fated mates, THIS shows it isn't just physical, it's two souls meant to be together in ALL ways. They manage to find each other in the real world and in the virtual world, either way, their souls are so connected that they are in the same place on the other side of the world! So romantic.... *breath breath* OK. I am good. I just remembered just how awesome this love story is and how much I love it.
Of course his gamer girl and Gail are one and the same. Their love story is sweet, full of laughs and is a great light read that you'll enjoy! I enjoyed revisiting it, Lobo is a cinnamon roll and Gail is a hoot!
Sidenote, I remember when he tries to speak french and says, 'mon femme', it's 'ma femme', but even then in french we say that to refer to a wife, so when he says 'ma femme', it is understood as "my wife". I wanted to correct it soooo badly. It's ok though.

This is the third book. They can be as standalone books but are I think they are better read in order. Lobo caught Gail’s scent at Holly and Vargr’s wedding but he couldn’t figure out who the scent belonged to at the time. Lobo and has gaming with a girl and he has strong feelings. Then one day he has some kind of intuition thing and needs to find his gamer girl. The gamer girl is Gail. He manages to get to her just in time. Gail has gotten involved in something bad while just trying to make ends meet at her book store. Things get interesting. Gail and Lobo are mates. Gail knows all about the wolven. She met and interviewed an elder, Roarke years ago for part of her degree. Lobo is going to figure out who is behind the thing Gail is involved in. They could be dealing with more than just a gang or something. Lobo and Gail make a great couple. She is shocked the she could be the mate to a wolven. She has lived in the area all her life and her best friend is mated to a wolven. She is intrigued and excited about it but also she can’t tell anyone outside their circle. This book was a good read. There was more paranormal creatures in this book. I am loving this series more with each book. They are quick instalove romances. Great job Nikolai.

Each short story offers more insight into the world Nikolai Andrew has created (wizards and other paranormal beings). I liked the nerdy/geek vibes Gail and even Lobo gave off (geek apparently transcends "species"). Both Gail and Lobo are gamers who have taken a liking to each other, sight and scent unseen. Lobo caught his mate's scent while at Vargr and Holly's wedding but is toiling because he is really into this gamer online. Then desperation forces him to find her.
The side characters were fun and they made me curious to know a little more about them. I honestly thought Callan was the most "social" and connected of the Wolven, but Lobo proved me wrong! The story is written in dual pov which helps round out the story. I like how the Wolven, despite needing their space, pull together for each other. Even the elusive Tulak shows up when it counts. I look forward to the next story, which is actually Tulak's.
The side characters were fun and they made me curious to know a little more about them. I honestly thought Callan was the most "social" and connected of the Wolven, but Lobo proved me wrong! We finally get Lobo and Gail’s story! These two are really cute together. I really enjoyed the connection and chemistry between these two. There is some drama in this book but you also get comedy, steam, love, action, and a great HEA in this PNR. I really enjoyed this and I can’t wait for Tulak’s book.

Why do I doubt?
I read chapter 1, then put the book aside for a week or so. I don't like drama and the first chapter you can definitely feel the drama. Of course, since I love this author, I came back and I'm so glad I did. True to most of his books, this was not heavy on drama.. heavy steam though. I loved that the hero and heroine had met online first.. it felt very "today" which amused me since they both loved to dress like "yesterday". Loved this book from (almost) start to finish!!

Wild Obsession's a good story, Nikolai Andrew did a good job on it, the plot was written well, Lobo and Gail had a strong bond that connected them, it drew them together, their chemistry was steamy, they were made for each other, they were good together, strong pair.
I enjoyed this story, looking forward to reading more. Thanks, Nikolai Andrew. Good work :)

I am really enjoying this series. Love how these Wolven men are finding the piece of them that’s missing. Gail and Lobo definitely fill that description. These two were connected before they even met, and after Holly’s wedding their connection was fated. These two are perfect for each other and are the balance that the other needed. Loved them and can’t wait for the next release.

I felt like I was picked up and dropped into the middle of a book with this one. I get that it’s a short novella, but within the very short book we had vampires. Mates. Conspiracy theories. Soo much in such a short time, and which a lot of it might only make sense if you’ve read the previous books (which I had not).

Lobo saw Gail at a wedding and he knew she was the one! Gail has been dreaming about Lobo also. When she gets in trouble he comes to her rescue and changes her life forever. Fast paced, hot story .

Gail and Lobi were made for each other! They had their fair share of drama but they got through it as a couple.
