Dragon Apparent #2

Dragon Seeking

Rate this book
With Anthony gone, Scarlet and Ben are left to figure out what he died for.

On top of that, Scarlet has to get used to living in the dragon city of Detaris. Being an infamous red dragon only makes that harder.

Nothing is ever simple, and they may be in as much danger as Anthony was.

Can Scarlet figure out what Anthony’s journals are trying to tell her while also navigating the strange new world of dragons? Or are there too many obstacles stacked against her?

New allies come out of the shadows to aid her in her quest for answers.

Scarlet needs their help, but trusting them is another matter. Do they have ulterior motives to befriend her, or are their offers of assistance genuine?

Most importantly, can she figure out who she is?

Took Too Long to Get Anywhere

The first book was interesting, but I couldn’t finish this one because it took too long to get anywhere with the story. The “figure out clues from the journal” storyline really should have concluded sooner. It was too much of the same over and over again.

The author seemed like they might need a refresher on what they had already written as well, because some things were “revealed” to a character more than once like it was brand new information (when it wasn’t).

Fun series with lots of action and magic

This is a fun series with little to of action and subtle dragon magic. The characters are detailed and fun to follow through their explorations in the world. I do wonder if the card they got from the one bad guy before they knew for sure he was bad will help track or show where they are in future books or not. I recommend this series and this book.

Better all around

This was an enjoyable read, with a better flow and better editing than the first book in this series. The main character is growing on me and I hope at some point some of the secondary characters might get developed a bit more, as well. I'll certainly be reading more!

Scarlet is possibly a dragon princess with lots of new powers

Scarlet and Ben have been trying hard to prove that Scarlet is royalty. Its the only way she is going to get the other dragons to follow her as she closes the gate. The path is full of danger and creatures are trying to kill her. She is slowly proving her self a few dragons at a time.

Awesome series, entertaining and enjoyable!!!!

Congratulation’s to Talia Beckett for this intriguing series. It’s extremely hard to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

Great story

I am really enjoying this story. Even though it's an overused plot, I think the author has done a great job of bringing in a different angle. I like the characters and they writing style. It's a fun story!

Wow!!

Can't hardly put the table down. I am drawn into this deeply. The characters are alive and that is the best type of books ever.

It's better than the first book, but still, the story is dragging its heels to get anywhere and a lot of use of "however" in places it's really not needed.
