I thoroughly enjoyed “The Age of Resonance”; I thought it was an exciting conclusion to an excellent fantasy trilogy. The story was gripping and full of suspense and fast-paced action, as well as magic. We also encounter several exciting new places and learn more about Mórceá, it’s rich history, and also Resonance, which really made me appreciate the nuances of the first two books even more. There were lots of mysterious and unexpected turns as well, which constantly kept me guessing throughout, and which made it an unpredictable and enjoyable read all the way until the final page. I really liked the many whimsical, endearing, and sometimes sinister new characters, and the ones we already were familiar with were fleshed out even further, which was very satisfying as a reader. The novel explores quite a range of themes and emotions, and there is some romance, but also some darker moments as well. I’d highly recommend this book, and the other books in the trilogy, to any other avid readers of fantasy fiction!
