If you like fast paced, short stories then you definitely need to read this.

Ireland Lorelei is a new author for me. From the Ashes was the first book I've read from her. I always love to pick up a book and discover an unknown author with a different style, and I'm glad I gave this book a read. Jamie and Paula's story was "sweet"—in that I'm a sucker for a guy that can't help but be captivated with a woman from the moment he meets her. I always love a book where the character arcs of both main characters come full circle. This was definitely a book of self-discovery with a HEA.

Like everything else Ireland Lorelei writes, I loved this. It was a wonderful story of a woman finding herself again after losing herself in a crappy marriage. I love how much she has to come to terms with her life and the choices she wants to make.

This wasn’t just a tale of a bdsm relationship turned romance, no it was more than that. It was a tale about awakening yourself and loving everything about your life. Even if it’s different, or weird.

She meets a man who introduces her to the BDSM lifestyle. What neither them expect is that it would turn into a relationship and love.

This is a short, quick read and I enjoyed it. It does explore the BDSM world, so it may not be for everyone.

Ireland Lorelei is a great author that keeps you interested in the stories from the very first chapter of every book she has written. Can’t wait to read more books by this amazing author.
