The old proverb says that if you save a life, it is yours. Well, Gil Tyler had never believed that before. Until he found the gorgeous sheriff’s deputy lying alongside the highway, about to become a victim of the storm.
Now, he can’t get her out of his head. Or his heart. But convincing the reluctant-for-romance Sage that he’s not the hot-headed Tyler he used to be is proving harder than he expected. But he’s a Tyler—he knows the woman meant for him when he sees her. It’ll just take some careful planning—and maybe an apology to her brother for that whole breaking his nose thing—to show Sage Gil’s feelings for her are the real deal now.
And he wants forever with her…
She’s not ready for romance with a man like him.
Small towns held their own secrets. Deputy Sage Lowell knows the same holds true for her beloved Masterson County. She’s determined not to let those secrets destroy her town. No matter what the personal cost of the investigation might be.
Sage is focused now on solving the biggest case to ever hit Masterson—she doesn’t have the time, or the inclination, to worry about romance.
Especially romance with an extra hot rancher. Especially a hot rancher who is one of those hot-headed, hot-tempered Tylers. Tyler men mean trouble—she’s seen it before.
A Tyler had broken her brother’s nose once, and she’d almost arrested two for brawling recently. With each other.
Yes, she has other things to worry about besides…the intense look of hunger in Gil Tyler’s eyes…
Like solving this case before someone Gil loves pays the ultimate price. And Masterson will never be the same again...
FEELING LIKE FOREVER is a full-length, small-town western romantic suspense novel and part of the Masterson County connected stand-alone series. The Masterson County series contains scenes of violence, adventure, occasional dark criminal behavior, moderate cursing—especially by villains, a few mild-to-moderate love scenes, and references to subject matter that may distress some readers. The Masterson County books contain the same level of descriptive content as a typical crime drama on network television—but good always wins out in the end, guaranteed.
Calle Jaye is fun, playful, ironic, professional and sophisticated. She’s super-educated in the field of fiction and would spend most of her time walking around in “Book World” (or”eBook World”).
Does she have slight control freak tendencies? Yep. Why else would she chose to self-publish?
In her day job she gets to read romance novels. In her night job she gets to write them!
Her favorite color is bold purple. She likes rock like Kid Rock, Shinedown, and Nickelback. Add in a bit of Anastacia and Adelle, too.
She collects rocks. Watches crime dramas. Abhors Lifetime Movies and Titanic (especially Leo…) and refuses to read or write about sparkly teen vampires.
She’s married to a cop she strongly suspects is a vampire. They’ve made vampire babies, too.
They live in Indiana with their vampire relatives and their vampire dogs.
Gil helps Sage when he discovers her on the side of the road, with a storm approaching. Fearing mudslides, he knows he shouldn’t move her in case of a spinal injury but risks it due to the storm😳 Sage is a little wary around men but as she gets to know Gil more, the attraction between them burns a little hotter🔥
Sage is involved in a major drug investigation and as information is uncovered, we are introduced to new characters but also the Tylers are dragged more into the investigation😢 I really enjoyed this story, many moving parts but I really loved getting to know more about the Tylers and others in Masterson❤️ I’m excited to see what’s up next by this author for 2023❣️
Wow, talk about grabbing you right away! Its another usual Tyler gets the Woman he wants but its the story lines and the whole scenes in between that really keep you reading! Who wants a book that doesn't have a little action and suspense in it! The romance is the the man/woman knowing who is theirs for life and getting that person to actually see it too! Gil and Sage find each other by happenstance! But Gil is immediately hooked! He finally gets Sage to realize he is who she wants to spend her life alongside! Great book! Best one yet in the whole series!
It's too back and forth of time lines. Then at the end there's the sneak peek into Auggie Tyler's story and its not the 10th book. Which i like to of been able to of read. So I bought the 10th book only to be disappointed. Now I'm trying to decide if its worth buying the Finely Creek series.
There’s a dangerous drug in our county and it’s a very deadly for some. I am checking on who might be bringing it in, but my guess is that it might be a hard fight.
