Peculiar Lessons: Semester One

Rate this book
Tucked away in the forests of Salem, Massachusetts sits Wanderton College. By outward appearances, it is like any other centuries old stone and wrought-iron building of its age. Inside, however, there are lessons rarely taught in school… or anywhere else.

Professor Jacob Cessair has come to Wanderton to fulfill the dying wish of his childhood friend; albeit 150 years behind schedule. Now, the professor is using his classes to teach unusual lessons and his students find themselves learning much more than they bargained for.

Will the professor end up educating his students, or is it he who has something to learn from them?

I’m intrigued by the big overall concept, but the character development wasn’t my cup of tea. Some of the character’s choices were too forced. The author is smart and creative and I wanted to love it…
