Amber knew that she couldn't handle alcohol well. The last time she drank, she got wasted and ended up in someone's bed. This time, when her friends asked her to drink together, she couldn't refuse; it's a special occasion and she haven't drunk for a while. She should've listened to herself because she got wasted and ended up in someone's bed. This time in the bed of her English lit professor; the very teacher that she got a crush on. Wanted to save face, she tried to walk away, but her professor got other things in mind.

I know that this type of student-teacher romance plot was common. But, I liked how West Greene tried a different angle with the teacher's character. He seemed possessive and OTT protective, but at the same time, he was also caring and somewhat patient with her. I like how loving he was. And how persistent yet he was willing to wait for the h to come to her. He was more than willing to do the courting and gave his full attention while being respectful. He was just..... book boyfriend material... Ughhh.. my heart....


I also like how thorough the background story was. Both MCs had contrasting backgrounds but it made wholeness of the plot.

Short, sweet, with a little bit of spice! It was really short but it did have a mix of plot with some steamy bits. The spice was there but each scene was short.

I do wish it was more of a forbidden romance since that’s what makes the student/teacher trope so enticing. I love the push and pull with tension and angst, which was missing here.

Overall this was great! Very quick easy read.

Amber is talked into going out with her friends and getting wasted. The next morning she finds herself in bed with her professor.

Jack and Amber have the forbidden student teacher romance, and it's very steamy. I loved how Jack didn't treat Amber any differently and stuck by what he said.

This is a super short story, but you don't feel like your missing out on anything. The author manages to pack in a great story in a short time without leaving the audience questioning anything.

I really enjoyed this story, the chemistry between the two is off the charts.

Such a cute quick read! I fell in love with this book.

The characters were amazing, and even better together. The fact that her foster mom accepted it all was even better. She just wants her happy and that made my heart happy.

The way he fought for her, and to prove to her that she was it for him...I couldn't get enough. 😍

While I wish that he would have done more about the other teacher than just report, it serves that teacher right!

I would love to hear more about them in the future! I loved there relationship!

Was good but was kinda giving wattpad written by a 13 year old girl who doesn't know basic terminology for things. For example "president of the school" was written numerous times rather than principal or headmaster. But I did enjoy it apart from that so yk
