The Duke’s Christmas Consort: A Holiday Story Set In A Fantasy Setting Inspired By The Regency Period
Michael St. James is not prepared to give up bachelorhood. However, his beloved ailing grandmama’s demand that he settles down with a bride, or given his preference for men, with a permanent consort, weighs heavily on him. Resolved to make her happy and yet to escape the marriage trap, he resorts to hiring a man in good standing to play the part of his intended consort during a week of Christmastime festivities hosted by his grandmother. Little does he realize that his "intended," Tristan Quinnell, comes with a few surprises that might just turn his ordered world topsy-turvy.
The Duke’s Christmas Consort is a male/male holiday fake engagement story set in a fantasy setting inspired by the Regency period in England. It is delightfully funny, sweet and steamy. (Heat level: sweet and steamy)

Recent and Upcoming Projects:
Jesse recently published The Space Between, a "can't touch" paranormal fantasy romance between an ice elemental and a fire elemental. It's part of the Hot Lemonade standalone series.
She’s currently polishing Twin Tides, a standalone story in the Half Blood series, and hopes to release it soon.
Jesse is also writing a new Omegaverse romantic comedy called Off The Record: Oops, He's My Alpha, which readers can follow in real time through her newsletter. The story stars Riley Walker, an optimistic and seriously underestimated Omega cop, who lands in the middle of a no-nonsense precinct run by Captain Anthony Bellini, a grumpy Alpha with a secret soft side and zero patience for distractions.
I love Victorian novels and will read any I can get my hands on. Duke Michael St. James is determined to stay free and sends his valet and lawyer to find a man he can hire to be his fake consort in order to get his ailing grandmama of his back. Tristan grew up beside Michael who was his brother Andrews best friend. It starts out cute and light but quickly develops a dark villainly plot with Rakes defrauding Tristan's family. Tristan is also working on capturing the Duke for his own. Not for the money but because he has loved Michael since he was ten. A love story with funny times, danger, a cat, almost fatal accidents and villains who are trying to take people for all they are worth, including their lives. Ansel is the cute little heterosexual valet of the duke who will do anything for the duke and adds a lot to the story. An excellent read.
A Crush, A Viking and Cherries Galore! Michael St. James, the Duke conspires with (fake fiancé) Tristan Quinnell to appease his grandmother’s wish at Christmastime. This is a charming, lighthearted, set in an alternative Regency England, serialized tale. I thought the story was amusing with some dramatic flourishes to add interest. It was also a bit meandering. Though, I did like the quirkiness of the MCs and the bumbling valet. An aside: I thought the many editing errors were a bit distracting. With that said, this was still an entertaining read.
