Gay Santa, go figure. Loved this book. Santa's elves go onto tinder to try and get him a date. After several unsuccessful ones, he meets Billy. I loved all the Elves, Pudding - Plum, Fudge- Muffin and Phil who was upset because he was the only one with an ordinary name. A definite feel go9od book for the holidays.
Super sweet Christmas story! What happens when Santa decides he doesn't want to be by himself any longer. And he really isn't interested in a "Mrs" Claus...
Okay, so this is a short story. It's a cute and funny one though. I had to laugh every time Santa remembered some gift he gave the person he was talking to. And the elves actually nearly stole the show. All in all really cute.
This was a fun little story about Santa finding Mr.Claus.
Santa has just come out to his elves and they have decided to help him find a man. The elves were hilarious and so were the dates. I loved when he met Billy, he was just a sweetheart and Nick's perfect match! Billy was amazing for Santa, and he especially helped him after his big coming out. There was some beautiful words wrote, especially from Billy. The ending was super sweet. The world truly showed there live for Santa!
The relationship happened at warped speed, and it has insta-love vibes! The relationship happens so quick, so you don't get to see it grow. They met and then a chapter later, the I love you is spoken. It is also sex scene free, but we do get a super quick fondle, and thats your lot.
It is so worth a read, especially for the ending. It was hard seeing Santa struggle with coming out to the world and being worried about the fall-out. I'm just glad he had great support, from Billy, the elves and the world too!
My first Gay Christmas story of the year. Since it is about my favorite buy, Santa, it is even more special. Sweet and cute. I have always wanted to read a Santa story with a Mr. Claus.
There is one line toward the end that says "figure" but I think it should be "finger". The speed from Billy about the courage to be true to one's self is important.
I loved all the little sayings Nick says when he gets flustered. It was fun seeing all the bad dates Nick went on until he met Billy. Billy is so kind and sweet, a perfect match for Santa. I enjoyed the plot and Robin Knight's unique version of Santa and his magic. A wonderful Christmas story!
Nick and Billy ❤️🫠 This is just what I needed today. Absolutely loved it! This short festive romance is just so darn sweet and uplifting, and the humour throughout had me cackling. If you want a cozy read to warm the heart, Santa's Big Secret is it.
❤️🎅A cute short Christmas story for Nick getting a little stage fright with people waiting for him. Nick sure has done funny sayings when he's nervous😂 A gorgeous story of Nick on his quest to find love. 🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🧑🎄🎁💌❤️
I love Christmas stories, they intensify the spirit of the season. This book does exactly and I howled with laughter. This story is heartwarming and uplifting. A new classic for me. Read it now, you won't be disappointed.
Since I have been called Santa for the past 2 decades, and for the past decade everyday that I leave the house, I especially loved the plot. Now I just need the makeover and the boyfriend HO HO HO MERRY CHRISTMAS
This book amusing ignoring the fact that it had multiple grammar mistakes and had no spice whatsoever. I wasn’t expecting a literally masterpiece, but I was still expecting a small degree of spice which makes me a tad bit disappointed.
3.5 stars. Enjoyable easy to read Christmas novella. Santa makes some changes, meets his other half after some disappointing dates and there are elf’s with cute names.
3.5 rounded up to a 4. Outlandish premise but surprisingly well executed, with humor that at times isn't afraid to go to the occasional dark place. The tone does a masterful job of being humorous without making fun of Christmas or the idea of Christmas. And the elves, well, they're nothing short of hilarious.
This would've been 4 stars but 2 stars taken away for the body shaming. Too bad because even without any spice this Santa was very sweet and loving and the lore used was fun. But "Santa you look like a slob and gotta lose weight to get a man"? No-ho-ho. Oh and it's DONDER not Donner!
Santa’s Big Secret by Robin Knight is a cute Christmas short story. Nick comes out to his elves and they create a Grindr profile so he’ll be able to find a partner, a future Mr. Claus. After some awful and unsuccessful dates, Nick meets Billy. Billy is kind, caring and a total sweetheart. He’s the perfect match for Nick and his best support during and after his big coming out.
The elves are really good secondary characters. They are funny, hilarious and adorable.
This was a quick read that made me laugh but also made my eyes well up at the end with the display of affection from the children from all around the world (#Stay-up-for-Santa).
To give you something in return. To show we love you… no matter who you are.
I recommend this novella.
I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
