I loved Beau from Delay of the Game. How protective and loving he was with his sister and neice.
If you have read the 1st book you will know he is former Navy Seal and now runs a top security detail company.
His 5 Navy Seal friends work with him. Their banter is hilarious and I love it. They're all so grumpy and soft at the same time.
He never had time for relationships until he met Charli and now he wants it all. But he thinks she is too young and sweet for him. So he tries to stay away. Really wanted to knock his head around when he called Miranda at the beginning urgh.
But my boy redeemed himself.
As strong and rough as he is he loves just as hard and Charli is one lucky woman.
There is a lot of ups and down in their story.
The bit that choked me was when they get a baby but not before their heart broke. I cried so much during that part.
It was bittersweet as they finally became parents but at a cost of losing loved ones.
This book had it all, the love hurt, drama and and a lot hotness.
If smutt isn't your thing then stay away because this book has it in abundance. But I will warn you, you will be missing out on some amazing 🔥

I love how Jade manages to make us connect with the characters straight away. I loved Charli and immediately felt connected with all her emotions.
I hope we get stories about rest of Beau's friends.

Length: 435 pages
Plot: Beau goes to his sister's house one day, and meets the new nanny: Charli. He's attracted, but she's younger than him and he doesn't think he's cut out for a relationship. He can't stay away though and she feels the same. There are plenty of obstacles in their way and they will have to navigate the problems that come with a new relationship amongst established lives.
Commentary: Both main characters were old enough - later 20s, early 30s. But much of the time, the plot devolved into new adult territory, that is to say, soap opera-ish. In particular, there was a lot of the "misunderstood" trope - overheard conversations, hearsay, "doing it for your own good," that sort of thing. If that's not your favorite trope, you might avoid this one.
I didn't particularly like the near-opening scene with an OW. I understand why it was there, but it probably didn't need to be as explicit (not because of the sex, but because there was no extra impact with the graphic nature of the reveal since we barely knew both characters).
Charli was fun, although sometimes her character was...uncharacteristic. Was she innocent? Was she a sexpot? I know some people will say you can be both, but she flipped a switch. Once she had sex with Beau, she was an experienced dirty-talking expert and it didn't track.
One thing I loved is that the story is set in my hometown. I wish there had been more references to where they were, but I rarely see stories set here (Dallas sometimes, but not FW).

This was such a well written story & my first introduction to Jade’s books but surely will not be my last. There’s so much depth to the story, I was fully invested right from the beginning - wanting to know more about every single character. I loved how much LOVE there was between family & friends, it was simply wonderful. Reading this your emotions are put through the gambit; ups & downs & everything in between though I promise it is entirely worth it. So excited to continue with the series!

Jade Dollston may be a baby Author but my god she pack a punch. This book had me swooning so hard! The serious, grumpy protective big brother of Blaire was EVERYTHING I needed him to be. How he melts for his Peach 🍑 I loved experiencing all the characters from Delay Of Game again, Jade smashed it with the transition from that book into this series 👏 and may I say she made it panty-soaking hot too! I cannot wait to read the next books!

This book blew me away. I absolutely loved it. I couldn’t put this book down. Beau is one of my favorite book boyfriends. He thinks he isn’t good enough of Charli but is secretly the biggest sweetheart. I love me a man who acts all grumpy but is actually super loving. The fact that he thought he would be too rough for Charli was the best, trust me Charli liked how rough Beau could be. I also really enjoyed how Charli may look sweet and innocent but she can be just a dirty as Beau. This book seriously had some of the hottest smut I have read. Plus their was a great plot and I was shocked about the ending. A lot happens in the last part of the book but none of it feels rushed. I cannot wait for the rest of the series as this book is definitely one of my favorites.

I really liked this book from this new author for me. Beau and Charlie meet when she becomes his sisters nanny. Boy do the sparks fly from the beginning. I loved both these characters for different reasons, Charlie because she was sewer but had a fight in her. Beau was everything in an alpha male you could ask for and they were made for each other.

Instead of backing away as soon as the sauce was in my hand like a normal person, I lingered there, enjoying the way my erection fit perfectly into the curve of her spine." This wouldn't be so bad but the MCs had just met like five minutes before. ick
Then our MMC needs to "fuck something" that isn't his sister's nanny so he invites his fwb over. Which is fine. Until he refers to her as "tits and ass by the name of Miranda"
Maybe I'm not giving this book a fair shot but sexual assault followed by misogyny was enough for me to call it.

Oh Jade, you did it again! ... give me a moment to collect myself. There is just so much here. Dauntless Protector was just... incredible, incredible - and I loved every single aspect of it.
The things that I love about Jade's books - and there are so many!! - I am finding are consistent in all of her books, and this is very, very much to my delight! First off, her characters are hot AF! Meaning, they are so attractive in personality, traits, charisma, humor and in the looks department too. This is such an added bonus to her brilliant writing and storylines! I'm totally not saying this in a surface-level way either, but the appeal of the characters adds such an attraction for the reader to the story and all of it's characters - and this is something that not all authors are able to do. But Dollston is a master of this.
But she doesn't stop there, oh, no, no. She is funny!!!! The stories have humor and so do her characters. The humor in her books is fan-tas-tic! And then, perhaps my favorite thing about her writing, every book and storyline is jam-packed with meaning, significance and story in every single word. What I mean is that some books will have lulls or parts of the story that aren't that important, or there might not really be anything happening - not in a Jade Dollston book!!! Oh, no sirry. You are getting something out of ever.single.word. You really get your money's worth here! And if you're reading in Kindle, her books go all the way to 100%! There's no "the end" at 94% in a Jade Dollston book. Oh man, I just love her writing, stories, characters, and romance.
Ok, so all of that said let's dive into Dauntless Protector because it is the epitome of all of what I said above. We got a glimpse into all of the characters in Delay of Game, which I loved! And this story focuses on Beau and Charli. And let's not even pretend that we didn't all fall head over heels in love with Beau in Delay of Game, because we did! He literally checks every.single.box. there is to check! Dollston has written him like the epitome of a walking wet dream mixed up with Mr. Right. Amiright or amiright? Enter sweet Charli, the nanny. Ugh, they are so perfect it almost hurts. And it's hard to talk about anything in the storyline because it'll just spoil it - and a reader of Dauntless Protector does not want a single spoiler ahead of reading this book! One needs to experience the whole thing... because it is an experience!
All I will say is that all of the things that I love about Jade Dollston's books and stories is here in spades. This book has amazing characters and storyline, I found myself literally snorting and laughing out loud, at a certain point I was straight-up sobbing with big ol' tears while my heart hurt - literally h-u-r-t!!!! And then at other parts throughout the book ... well, Dollston turned up the steam in this one quite a bit. *Phewwww I need to fan myself off.* Let's just say that this book is very erotic, as well as sweet and sexy. But erotic... Beau is... something else.
Dollston will get you so addicted to this world she's created, but you'll mostly love these characters because they are so dynamic and amazing. I seriously didn't want this book to end because I wanted to so much more. I loved every aspect of it and knowing that Dollston is almost finished writing Tank's story is a little consolation, because *awwww* Tank... he's so sweet, and big... I digress. If you're looking for fantastic writing, amazing storyline and characters, A-class humor and romance - Jade Dollston and Dauntless Protector will not let you down!

Jade Dollston has snatched my heart ❤️ and I don’t even care. I thought I fell in love with Axel but let me tell you about Beau aka Shark 🦈. Trust me ladies he is definitely a shark 🦈 in and out of the bedroom 😉🥵.
Dauntless Protector is beautifully written. The story is beautiful and spicy 🌶️ with just enough drama. I really enjoyed how Jade has incorporated other characters into the story but with a story of their own. We get to hear from Axel, Blaire and many more.

I thought I loved Axel from "Deay of Game" but Blaire's brother Beau broke the mold. He was an Alpha man through and through. He was a loyal, protective, dominating kind of man and he always put the needs of those he loved first. Beau didn't do relationships. He preferred quickies and hookups. The dirtier the better.
Everything changed when he met his sister's nanny Charli. No matter how many times Beau tried to stick to his rules; he found himself breaking them every time Charli was near. The thing I love about strong Alpha Men who shy away from relationships is that when they fall; they fall hard. Charli was everything to Beau and she proved that she could handle him in the bedroom without batting an eye. Charli has a secret that is keeping her from opening up completely to Beau.
Beau and Charli had their ups and downs, but Beau refused to give up on Charli. Once Charli's secret is revealed Beau does whatever is in his power to prove to her that she is the only woman for him and that he will stand by her side every step of the way.
This book had some laugh out loud moments, tearjerker moments and moments of triumph. Beau's friends were a hoot and of course little Miss Carrie had her moments making the adults uncomfortable. LOL!! I can't wait to see who falls next in the Fierce Protectors series. I hope it's Cam because he was definitely the comic relief in this book

Jade, Girl, you did it again!! I loved this book. I was hooked on Beau from Delay of Game when he was introduced. First I have to say I loved how you allowed us to visit with Blaire, Axel, and all the kiddos once again. It added such a warmth to the their story (Beau & Charli's) Their love story had everything, you literally captured it all and delivered it with a damn bow on it. The love, the connection, the emotions, the angst, THE HEAT (lord have mercy there's so much heat, I thought my tablet was going to melt) the brother & sisterhood of all their bonds was incredible. Jade sucks you in from page one and all you can do is keep turning those pages and hold on for dear life. The smart ass and witty comebacks kept me laughing throughout the entire book (Sammy the Squirrel LOL), I loved the banter between all the characters to be honest. Beau is so damn delicious and is totally Book Boyfriend material and Charli is unmatched in her witty & seductive ways. So, get the fan, the ice water, and a box of tissues for this one, you're going to need it and it's all so worth it in the end. I can't wait for book 2 in this series!!

I’m not sure how to unpack everything in this book. This is officially my top read of 2022. Jade Dollston is a brilliant storyteller. From a writing perspective, she’s a true artist in the portrait she paints. She’s descriptive, without being overly descriptive. She makes you laugh and she makes you cry (a lot in this one), but, most importantly, she makes you care. I feel like her characters are my friends living in my world, and that’s the mark of a great author. Hats off to you, Jade Dollston. If I were allowed, I’d give this book more than five stars.
Beau and Charli’s love story is a tremendous one full of ups and downs. And then more ups and downs (you get two books for the price of one in this novel). I don’t like to give any plot away, but their journey of love and healing is a beautiful one. I challenge anyone who doesn’t fall madly in love with both of them. I adored the cameos by the main characters from Delay of Game. I’m ECSTATIC that this is only the beginning of the series. I’m chomping at the bit to read the next one. Dollston has set the stage perfectly for it. I'll read it the day it comes out.

I have waited for Beau's book since Delay of Game and I was not disappointed.
I don't even know where to start I fricken adored this book like seriously adored it . Beau and Charlis love story was insta love , smoking hot and and full of twist and turns. for me this was low to mid angst there was a few tearjerking moments and a fair few OH MY GODs .
I didnt have the urge to unalive Beau in his own story like I did in Blaire and Axels but there were a few moments where I wanted to say noooo!!! 😂 .
Charli is just a beautiful FMC and I loved her character development throughout this book. her characters story touches on some real life issues and god my heart Broke for her. No spoilers but if you like insta romance reads with enough spice to melt you into a giant puddle, some emotional twists and turns and did I mention the Spice 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥, you will love this. This story had me up til 1 am I had to know how it ended and has left me wanting more from these characters. A truly great read from an incredible new author

Wow where to start with this book, it is a must must read.
Beau is a grumpy but also so alpha male and protective of the people he cares about,when he meets Charli he is instantly attracted to her and thinks she gorgeous he flirts with her and nearly kisses her, but then thinks he's not good enough, so when he leaves he ends up calling his hookup for the night
Charli as just out of a horrible relationship and comes to work with her mum as a nanny for Beau sister, when she first meets Beau she thinks he is hot as hell and cant believe how she feels a round him, but things go wrong when Beau sister asks her to pop to Beaus to get a book, when she gets there she hears noises from his room and a girl walking out when he comes out and see her he knows what she heard so when she leaves she's upset.
Beau regrets what happened and wants to say sorry, when he does Charli says they can be friends, but that's not what Beau wants so when he asks her on a date and she says no he will do anything to make it happen.
When things start going right between them someone from the past comes back and Charli decides what she needs to do so Beau is happy but is it the right decision.
This book made me Laugh at some points and cry at some as well, you get really into the book and can't but it down

Beau was one such character from his sister's book that I wanted to see more of. And Jade delivered. He's the gold standard for the perfect uncle and brother and in his own book, he proves to be a great lover too.
This book is grumpy sunshine done well. Hits so many of the spots for me- if you are into size kink, hero with a mile long and then some more jealous streak and a man who certainly shouldn't want the nanny but can't help it, this is the one for you. It has a healthy portrayal of family bonding, a dude who loves his nieces and nephews (will give you baby fever), and close ones like nobody else. The flashbacks were sweet, gave me a whole year's worth of cavities. It will also make you feel every other emotion. I had to close the book and stare at the ceiling cause the feels were just too much.
So if you are looking for your next fave read- look no far. The pages flew by and I appreciated the extra content Jade put out as the release day drew near.

December 8, 2022We met Beau in Delay of Game he’s Blaire’s older brother. Beau and his mates are very close to Blaire, Axel & Carrie so they are always at their house that’s where he spots Charli who is the nanny to Blaires kids . The minute he spots Charli he feels a pull towards her but he won’t admit it even when his mates torment him and say they are going to hit on her he still refuses . When they do eventually give in sparks fly as they are perfect together but Charli hasn’t been treated well in the past and she finds it hard to trust anyone so things are rocky at times .Loved this story Beau & Charli are perfect and that twist near the end of the book had my heart aching I don’t cry at books but I almost did with this book.

I was so excited to dive into this series after reading Axel’s and Blaire’s story in Delay of Game and it did not disappoint.
Beau’s and Charli’s story was written so beautifully. We have our leading dominant alpha man Beau who doesn’t do relationships but that all changes when he laid his eyes on his sister’s new nanny & feels that instant pull to her. Charli is innocent-looking and sweet as peach, but you know what they say about the shy ones.😏
Their journey to their HEA was such an emotional rollercoaster. There’s some sensitive topics (mention of DV & infertility). Definitely was pulling on my heartstrings. I went from laughing my ass off to crying my eyes out.
The way beau treated Charli and cherish her was heartwarming to read.
Their chemistry was so intense and the spice, ohh lord, let’s just say, this is definitely a one-handed read. 🥵
I gotta say, Cam, Bode, Tank, Woody and Hawk are the perfect side characters ( they all make me swoon) & I can’t wait to dive into each of their stories. On to book 2! 😍♥️

We finally get to know more about Beau .... the alpha protector from Delay of Game....aka Blaire's big brother. So good
Jade as been on my TBR list for way to long..And boy was that a mistake that definitely will not be happening again. This book was absolutely brilliant one he'll of a rollercoaster ride that made me laugh , cry and my heart swoon. You can't help but fall in love with the characters. Beau and Charli were absolutely perfect for each other and the chemistry was just so right. Loved every bit of this book, even the bits that had me in floods of tears. Apparently though I started on the wrong book so I need to go back. But not to worry I will definitely be reading them all. This book is highly recommended and a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ read you will absolutely enjoy reading.

What can i say about this book it gave me all the feels. I loved Beau and Charli. From moody grumpy brother to a sweet cuddly bear in love with his woman. Charli is the perfect lady for Beau. The emotions in this book had me feeling it all. From laugh to tears i feel like i have experienced every emotion in this book.
Beautifully written love story between a strong navy seal and his sisters nanny. Love at first sight!

Feel Good and Spicy
This is my first read by this author and I loved it! Shark is a former Navy seal who now owns a security agency and hired his former seal friends. He is a devoted brother to Blaire who has 5 kids. Her new nanny is sweet Charlie who just got out of an abusive relationship.
The connection was instant, the scenes were steamy and the end was heartwarming. I loved the storytelling and combination of all the characters. Can’t wait for the other books to come out 📚

Beau Atwood is the perfect, grumpy, protective, possessive, loving book boyfriend. He’s the epitome of gentleman in the streets, freak in the sheets, but only with his peach. I love that he doesn’t show any attention anywhere else, and no matter how much Charli searches for it, he proves her wrong every time. They are perfect together, and the Charli is the perfect addition to the Atwood/Broxton family. Did I bawl at the end of this book? Absolutely. But dauntless protector was such a beautiful story, with loads of great spice!

The feelings when reading this book ... I've sat there crying my eyes out, loved the banter between the characters and got a bit frustrated because of certain situations but it was oh so worth it, the hotness in this one is off the charts!!
I don't want to give any details away, so you have to read this one, you will definitely not be dissapointed!
So looking forward to the next book in this series!

Beau and Charli!! Oh my goodness! I couldn't put this book down! From the very beginning of how they met, and the tension between them, and all the twists and turns in between had my heart racing! I love how they are both loyal to their families, and how even though they each have a past that causes them to be weary of relationships, they decide to take a chance. The ending was amazing and so good! I didn't want it to end!

Effing Fantastic! I've been waiting for this book since the moment I finished Delay Of Game. Beau and Charli are perfect together. Their story arc is positively beautiful with all the ups and downs that make reading so much fun - and so much chemistry!!!!!! Be sure to have your tissues close because you are about to read an emotional roller-coaster! I can not wait to see what Jade Dollston writes next.

What a journey! The destination is always sweeter when there are pitfalls on the way and Jade Dollston has delivered once again! At one stage I thought I'd need to invest in a tissue factory, but the tears soon cleared with the joy contained in the message of the book. The way both main characters could be seen as being protectors of both each other and their family and friends was a delight.

I’m now kicking myself on not reading it sooner! My god Beau aka Shark is as drool worthy as they come! This man is all things broody, grumpy, and at first not approachable. Until he finds out that the sexy girl prancing around his sisters house one afternoon is her new nanny. The immediate connection between Beau and Charli is INSTANT. I mean…the fire literally lifted off of the pages as I read. Charli is adorable, sweet, nurturing, and such a ray of sunshine.
I LOVED the banter between the band of “brothers”…Beau and his ex Navy Seal buddies. They will have you laughing throughout this entire book! What I did NOT expect was the last 20ish percent of the book. Good lord…the tears were flowing! I’m not going to give any spoilers but brace yourself.
The thing I loved most was how devoted Beau was towards Charli…especially when he was at the bachelor party. Lol...this scene was absolutely brilliant.
I cannot wait to dive in to the rest of the guys books…oh, did I mention there is literally spice in almost every chapter? 🥵🤤🔥

This is the kind of book I love!!! The instant attraction between the two characters really is my favourite trope. Jade really knows how to write a romance and all though this was my first book by this author I will be back for more. Beau hands down was my favourite character in this book, he was the perfect possessive alpha male and had me hooked into this book from the start.

Beau and Charli, grumpy sunshine much!!! ❤️❤️❤️ The best way i can describe this book is huge ass gentle giant and a sunflower!!! The chemistry these two have and boy oh boy the dirty talking MF!! Woohoo am here for it. Ex Navy SEAL and a babysitter, throw in some excellent banter and just such fun secondary characters and you just have an amazing book!! Love it love it!! Don't wait to read this one!! Go for it.
