Adam and Charlotte start out as a fling and get involved in the war between vampires and wolves. His son is kidnapped by the vamps and they have to rescue him. Things get complicated after they get the son back. Charlotte has abandonment issues and Adam feels she will leave like his first wife did. Their friends work to get them to acknowledge their love and become a family.

Communication is so unreliable
between these two characters, and that includes listening to their hearts and their wolves! But with everything that's happening it's not really surprising.

Second chance to have a family

Fun series
Enjoyed this book. The idea that family is made up of who your heart connects to is precious. Not all family is born from blood.
