Keeping this secret for fifteen years was the right thing to do.

Or so I thought.

Serving all-you-can-eat pancakes isn’t the glamorous life my parents planned for me when I was a teen, but I’ll do whatever it takes to support my son. Sure, single mom life hasn’t been easy, but we’re doing just fine on our own.

That is, until a storm rolls into our small town … aka the bad boy I once loved—and have been lying to for fifteen years.

The minute Will Walker sees his mini-me and does the math, he knows he’s his. Now I’m lost in those impossibly dark eyes as he looms over me, demanding to know why I didn’t tell him.

And despite the circumstances, seeing him again after all these years has my heart racing and I’m fighting for air.

But the familiar spark between us is nowhere near as surprising as his reaction to the truth—or my body’s reaction to the man he grew up to be.

Will is determined to get to know his son and make up for lost time, but can he forgive me? And if he can … what’s next?

Needing You is the 2nd official book in the Walker Brothers Brewery series, and is a steamy, second chance, secret baby romance between a reformed bad boy chef and the good girl who’s always had his heart.

Sweet! Sassy! Suspenseful!

I love secret babies stories so much!!!!! However, this is the first one, I ever read, where the father finds out when the "baby' is already 15 years old. I admire Kate's courage and determination to raise her son after her parents shipped her off and blocked all communication between Will and Kate.

Although everyone is so quick to blame Kate for her decisions, where was Will's responsibility in all of this? That questionable bar scene in NYC certainly didn't help matters much!

Awesome story!!!!

Oh how I love the Walker brothers!

Will and Kate’s story started off a little rough for me. To be honest, I wanted to punch will in the face after the restaurant/date incident. Don’t worry though, he eventually won me back, and Kate too :)

Chloe Jane does a fantastic job at pulling on your heart strings and making you laugh out loud with the Walker Brothers series. I’m so glad I found this gem, and can’t wait for the next installment so I can see Sammy’s story.

I absolutely loved the concept of this book! Teenage lovers, a secret baby & reuniting 15 years later 😍 From reading the rest of the series I'm invested in the Walker family and Will was the most unpredictable, moody brother. It was sweet to uncover the reasons behind his actions and see him win back Kate. I'm heading straight into youngest brother Sammy's story with waitress Rachel!

One of my favorite tropes to read is second chance romance and this story is perfect. From the start of this book we find out a lot in a short period of time from Kate and her past and how she ended up in Granite Springs with her son Jackson and that his father has no clue about him even though she tried to tell him a couple of times. However the decision was taken out of her hands when Will (Jackson’s father) saw them in the grocery store and freaked out and put the pieces together realizing that is his son. I definitely felt for Kate because she had Jackson’s best interest in mind with every decision she made for him including trying to tell Will about him but no matter what Will was upset with her and Will’s mom was upset with her, which his mom being upset was almost worse. Once the dust settled however Will and Jackson started to get to know each other and when I thought we were going to get through this with not a lot of drama, Jason Cole enters the scene and starts trouble where there wasn’t any. I wanted to tell Jason Cole to leave and never come back. I’m glad that Will set the record straight with Eric and made everything right with Kate and Jackson. I especially enjoyed the ending. We’re down to two stories left in this series Eric and Sammy. Will definitely be interesting stories for both of the last two Walker’s. Great Story!

Will and Kate had a forbidden love story in high school, Will was from from the wrong side of the proverbial tracks, and Kate was the Mayors daughter. Will was a bad boy and Kate was a shy girl.

Kate ends of pregnant and doesn’t know what to do, she goes to her mom with the news and her parents swiftly decided to send her away to have the baby and for her to put it up for adoption.

Kate does not put the baby up for adoption, she also doesn’t get a chance to tell Will what was going on. Lines get blurred and years pass. Feelings are hurt and confused on both sides.

Kate works her butt off to get back to her small town in Colorado, but she fines that Will isn’t there, he left years ago. She continues to do what she has to to raise Jackson (their son), and then it’s 15 years later and Will moves back to their childhood small town.

I so loved this book!! Some hard decisions had to be made and I found myself wondering what I would’ve done. Kate is a badass mother who will do anything for her child and Will is an amazing chef with a mouth like a sailor who just needs his tough exterior cracked.

Definitely recommend!!

I really liked the dynamics of the main characters in this story. Everyone's reaction to the Kate and Jackson situation was totally understandable:
1) Kate trying to protect Jackson and provide a good life for him on her own.
2) Will being upset that he didn't know about Jackson and getting a chance to be his Dad.
3) Jackson feeling cheated out of a family he could have been spending time with for years already.
4) Jenna's reaction to not knowing she was a Grandma until now and missing all that precious time with Jackson.
Lots of time had been lost that couldn't be regained. The good thing, though, was that they could move forward from there.
Great group of additional characters, too.
I can't wait to read Sammy and Eric's stories.
This is actually the first book I've read from Chloe Jane. She's a new author to me. I will definitely go back and read the first two books in the Walker Brother's Brewery series before the next book releases.

This is a great love story - girl loves boy, girl runs away, boy leaves, both move back unknown to each other and love erupts all over again.

Kate does all she can to raise her son alone to be a wonderful human but when she realizes the boys father is back in town, she is torn between letting things stay the same and telling Will that he has a son. As these two find their way again on the parent path, their son finds he has had a whole family in town that he knew nothing about and needs to find a way to reconcile that - but is loving having family around. The love story that resumes pulls on all the heartstrings and you find yourself rooting for all concerned to find their path back to each other,

I know that our current society is in love with dropping the f-bombs all over the place, and this book had more than its fair share, and in my humble opinion it would have been just as good without them.

This book started hot and finished hotter. Kate was a girl of 15 who become pregnant and sent off by her embarrassed parents. She had the baby and for reason know only to her at the time kept the child from his father (for good reasons) for 15 years. Will when he saw Jackson and did the math was stunned. The story goes through the ups and downs of figuring it all out and the intense emotions that both Kate and Will had to deal with. Not only the no knowing he was a father and the lost time but the doing it all on your own by Kate. Chloe really nailed the feelings. Even though you think you know where the story is going Chloe does a great job of capturing the emotions of Will, his family, and Kate’s emotions as the proceed. Great job and on to the other books in the series. I want to know more of this family.

This was a decent read with enjoyable characters however the story did fall a little flat for me. It was a very predictable plot for this trope. I would have liked to seen a little more push and pull between Will and Kate, frustration from Will for missing out on so much, etc. Everything was so easily forgiven except between Kate and Jackson.

I know this is a newish author but this book could definitely benefit from more editing. There were some instances where the wrong word was used a few examples- piece vs peace, on the same page different paragraphs one said h went to stay with Grandma, and one said when she arrived at her aunt's house.

This is a really good 2nd chance romance. Kate and Will had a secret relationship when they were kids. Kate found out she was pregnant and to avoid scandal, her family sent her away. She had asked her mother to take a letter to Will for her but found out later that the letter was not delivered. When Kate was able to return to town, Will was gone. He had returned to town and now finds out about his son. As Will spends more time getting to know his son, Jackson, he also learns about Kate as an adult woman as well. Will they find their way back together again?

My brain just wanted a simple romance, a secret baby in a small town piece of fluff. I found this on the Stuff your kindle list and thought it would be exactly what I wanted and yet.
le sigh.
It was just too cliche. I know- what was I expecting?!
I was hoping that the revelation of the hidden pregnancy wouldn't come up in the first few chapters and that the secret baby would be exactly that- a baby.
This kid was a teenager and it was revealed so early on that there was no build-up or chance for us to care why the two of them hadn't worked out.
If you want to read a much better story go for Sherryl Woods "The Cowboy and his baby". Half the size, twice the story.

This book was pretty good. The storyline was easy to follow and the author does a good job of capturing the reader. I do think there could have been a little more drama or heat to make the story a bit more interesting but overall a good read. I am looking forward to the rest of the Walker brothers stories

A very good second Chance secret baby story with Kate and Will being teens and she ended up pregnant but didn’t tell Will. 15 yrs later he comes to where they, her and their son, live. He sees Kate and Jackson together and it stunned him that he’s his son. With father and son getting to know each other is there room for father and mother to also find their way back together..

I enjoyed reading this book as second chance romance books are some of my favourites. I found my self wondering what I would have done had I been in Kate’s situation. It was easy to find myself rooting for this couple and I can’t wait to read the rest of the Walker brothers books.
