When a string of liberal young women are found murdered in the deep South, FBI Special Agent Camille Grace must hunt down the killer before he claims another. As she enters the world of white supremacists, potential suspects are everywhere; and yet Camille senses something much more personal—and sinister—in this killer’s motives. Can she crack the case in time?

This was horrible. The audiobook changed narrators on this book after the previous 7 books were all the same person. And this narrator is BRITISH! For an American FBI agent it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. It felt very rushed and not well thought out plot wise for the sister reunion also. Just horrible all the way around.
Will that really sucks so many unanswered?????? What did her father do to go to jail, what's with the blood an the pigs, what happened with her mother all this was left out. Ya really sucks Kate Bold doesn't know how to finish a story. Story was half assed needed lots of work. Why the killer did what he did???? Why pick the women he did? Police was not done right. Lots an lots of typos, lady get a proof reader or two,it will go along way.
Really you have a new AI British narrator for the final book in the series?!?! Come on what is going on with these publishers and writers not caring about the audiobooks. You can’t have an American narrator for part of a series and then move to British. I didn’t even finish the book when I heard the digitized narrator “Caroline”. There shouldn’t be digitized narrators at all for audiobooks. They’re terrible even with the correct accent because it doesn’t understand things like if there’s an asterisk it literally say asterisk. This is so stupid.
This book grabbed my attention immediately. I read it in one day! It was exciting, and the characters were well written and believable. The only thing that was a downside to this book was the constant errors in typing. There are page after page of typo's and it was very distracting to me while reading. I did submit the errors, but as I said, it took away from the story. Kate is a great writer, I just wish someone would proof read the stories as this isn't the only book in this series that has this issue.
I must say I’m very disappointed with this whole series. I listened to the books and for the first 7 there was the same lack luster readers. The 8th book the readers changed. Makes no sense. I really wanted to know about Camille’s sister. The answer was so uneventful. I’m glad this is over. Even after 8 books you don’t end with a sense of finality. Perhaps there will be another one. There are many things unfinished yet the reality is who cares?
3.3 I might be done with this series now. Well, things are heating up with the partners. The sister mystery is starting to avail itself and isn’t as intriguing as I hoped.
The audiobooks on these are pretty poorly done and it seems like this time it’s a British person speaking as a southern agent from Louisiana?! Did I not catch this before? Decent quick read, but I’ve done enough of them now!
The story was good, but are there no longer proofreaders? These books are full of misspelled words, calling characters by the wrong names, sentences that don't make sense.
