Her Filthy Professor

Rate this book
What happens when a smolderingly hot millionaire meets an innocent rule follower who brings out his filthy side?

Daisy

I was the girl who never broke the rules and did something wild and crazy - until my sister's wedding.

Now I've had the most sinful night of my life with a dirty-talking bad boy. Guess who's my newest professor.

Alexander

The only thing that made my cousin's wedding bearable was one of the bridesmaids.

And our night together was as filthy as they come. But when the sun came up, she'd ghosted me.

Until Monday morning, when I found her in the front row of my calculus class.

The road to hell is paved with bad intentions, and I'm in the driver's seat.

Her Filthy Professor is a standalone, forced proximity, forbidden, insta-attraction contemporary romance with all the swooning and steam you can handle.

Naughty Little Angel

4.5 stars - HO...LY! Not even ten percent into the book and the heat level goes from medium to extremely hot! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Alexander is commanding and hot AF! *ding goes the elevator* But don't get on his bad side because he can drop the temperature in the room to subzero just as quickly with his verbal slams, as poor Daisy learns the hard way.

The back and forth between like and abhor as they fight their feelings is dizzying. I get why they feel the need, but the fact that they are both trying to satisfy the dreams of their parents and not their own makes it a bit sad. While there's plenty of focus on this, there are several dirty breaks for another kind of action.

Seriously, these two are incredibly adventurous and dirty. I'm surprised smoke didn't billow from my tablet! That scene up against the window? *commence serious fanning* Yes, it's that hot!

I’m scared of falling because the landing will shatter my heart into a million pieces that can’t be put back together.
-- Daisy Adler

I love how they push each other to slowly realize what's important. It does blow up a time or two, one of those times I wasn't as fond of, but it also provides quite the dramatic turn.

She’s going to kill me, but it’s going to be one hell of a way to go.
-- Alexander Taylor

Let's take a moment to appreciate the little people that support these two through the good and bad. Cora, Sean, and Zoe are amazing and bring a lot to the table. They bring humor, wisdom, and moral support. 🤗😂 On the flip side, I hope karma pays Heather a well deserved visit.

“You’re a pretty guy, but you’d be prettier if you kept your mouth shut. When you open it, you say stupid things.”
-- Cora

See what I mean!

Another thing I love about this book are the intertwining of characters from other books and series within her KC world. I know Sean's story was previously told, as were several of the other side characters. They are all standalones that can be read in any order.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Wow!! I can't even explain how much I LOVED this book, but I am going to do my best to try. This is my first book by Alexia Chase and definitely will not be my last.

If you are looking for a book with any of the following, then this is the perfect book for you:

Age Gap (7 years) ✔️
Forbidden (Professor/College Student) ✔️
Alpha/Possessive MMC ✔️
Virgin FMC ✔️
Family Drama ✔️

Daisy is an attendant in her sisters wedding when she meets Alexander. Daisy has always been the shy, behind the scenes kind of girl - mostly due to the way that her family has treated her her entire life. But after some flirting, she decides to have one night of fun with Alexander. When she leaves in the morning without saying goodbye, she never expects to see him again. But she does, when she shows up to her calculus class and she sees her professor: Alexander Taylor.

Alexander has never been a relationship type of guy. He was hurt by his high school girlfriend and has never been in a relationship since. Has never WANTED to be in a relationship. Until he feels this undeniable pull to Daisy.

After trying and trying, Daisy and Alexander realize that they can't keep this attraction from exploding between them. Once they decide to go for it, in secret of course, they really go for it. But all good things must come to an end, right? Or will they be able to outlast all of the issues and obstacles in their way?

I adored both of these characters so much. I loved how much they complimented each other and just made each other better. Their spicy scenes were SUPER spicy and I am here for it.

When the conflict happens, I wanted to cry for both of these characters. But I especially loved seeing the changes that they both made.

I really hope that we get a Zoe book because she was a bomb side character. She was a great support system to Daisy especially with all of the awful people in her life.

Ready for some steamy taboo romance? This book was sweet, funny and everything you need to cleanse your palette if you are in need of one when you reach an overdose of dark romance.

Daisy and Alexander are amazing characters, and you'll love them! Their chemistry is off the charts, and them trying to stay away from each other, ah the angst the trepidation of not knowing who will give in first and make a move! Just utter perfection! The only reason I took off half a leaf is that while our couple is there to explore the toys and use them, we don't get a very explicit description and I really wanted to read that! It's not often that there are toys involved in romance books (or at least the ones I've read so far), and I wanted to know more!

Now, get ready for an emotional rollercoaster, strap your favourite weapon (because trust me, we'll be going on a journey to avenge both Daisy and Alexander, and we have quite a number of people to unalive!), grab some tissues and some snacks and go on a journey with Daisy and Alexander!

One more thing, Alexander is joining the club with Nyfain (from Deliciously Dark Fairytales series), because the man is there to deliver, even if he needs to read our spicy books and recreate the scenes! Like, where can I find one like that? (trust me, I can always ask my hubby to help recreate a scene, but reading the book himself? that's a hard no for it (for now...)).

Now, for those who've read Alexia's books can someone tell me which book is she referencing in the office scene? and will we get the book about Daisy's sister and her love life?

I received an ARC for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s been a while since I actually got into a book so well and enjoyed reading it.

I think I may have found a new author to explore.

I thought the characters were enjoyable and likeable and the mix of spice and story were the perfect balance. You actually got to explore the 2 sides of each characters life which was really refreshing.

The tension and 🌶️ was so good and well written

Definitely a page turner!!

In a word: Nope

So, I truly feel bad for this author. Every friend, family member, editor, beta reader, reviewer who read this book and didn't stop the author from releasing it has failed her in an epic way. There's so much wrong I don't even know how to tease it all apart. The thing that first jumped out at me was the stilted way the characters talked. Their conversations sounds like a 1950's sitcom, overly formal, completely unnatural and a barley glorified info dump. From there I developed a morbid fascination with this book like Sharknado. So bad it reached satirical greatness and I could not look away. From "steel knuckles" instead of "brass knuckles" to a medical student continually saying she's getting her PhD to the "doing it for her own good" cliche ending, the faux pas kept rolling out of this book like the tears in my eyes at the time I wasted. If you still decide to go in after this review I offer you my deepest condolences.

This book was absolutely adorable! Just the right of smut, love and drama rolled into one! A quick satisfying read that will make you blush, grin, and giggle.

Daisy is a young woman stuck in her sisters shadow, the night of her sisters wedding she meets a man and finally decides to do something for herself. And that something is him. After after a night of passion she runs from his hotel room and leaves him nothing but a note. She later finds out that he is her calc professor. They try to resist each but fail miserably. And then the drama starts!

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick read about forbidden romance.

I cried, I laughed, and I want to read it again!

Insert crying emoji right about here. That was me at the beginning of "Her Filthy Professor," which was completely unexpected. Don't get me wrong, "Her Filthy Professor," Daisy got the short end of the stick. Her parents had such high expectations of her and treated her horribly. She had to do everything for her sister and all other members of her family as if she were their servant. And she did it without argument because she was so used to it. At her sister's wedding, an opportunity arises for a spontaneous hookup, and Daisy goes for it. She had no idea that the one-night stand ended up being her calculus professor, Alexander.

There is so much at stake for Daisy and Alexander. Daisy's father places much pressure on her medical career and Alexander's father with the family business. Their families are pretty similar. Both families are controlling, but Alexander's family also pressures him to marry someone suitable within a year.

Every one that was against Alex and Daisy made me so mad. I was vexed—beyond vexed. Alexia Chase certainly was able to capture the actual characteristics of a mean girl and amped it up and made me feel every bit of pain.

The spice, though, was incredible, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with a little bit of the br33di¡g dialogue thrown in.

a true reset for my rating scale

I wanted to DNF at 10% but powered through it. Now I feel I should go back to all my previous 3 star reviews and automatically make them 5 star in comparison to this book. Everything was so long winded and the dialogue barely read like an actual conversation, it was like reading a book from AI generation. Also, how many tropes can you squeeze into 300 pages damn.

I thought this was sinfully hot and steamy and so fun to read. Daisy is such a sweetheart, and I loved watching her grow into herself as the story progresses. She meets Alexander at her sister's wedding and do the sparks ever fly between them. And then they discover that she is Alexander's student! They try to stay away and keep it on a professional level but can't resist each other. These two are hot enough to melt my Kindle, and I love how love is more important than everything else! Definitely an entertaining romance to add to my library!.

Daisy Adler is 23 and always follows the rules. She is constantly being berated for what she eats, her job and is always being compared to her older sister. On the night of her sister's wedding she meets Alexander, a cousin of the groom's who is filling in at the last minute. At the reception they hook up and she goes back to his hotel with him but in the morning she is gone with only a note left for him and he is not happy.
Alexander Taylor is 30, works at his father's company and is hoping one day to take over but also is a software designer on the side. His dad is very close minded and has set several stipulations for Alexander to take over the company none of which he likes.
Daisy is being pushed by her dad to be a doctor and take over his medical practice one day, not what she really wants to do but goes along with it. The problem is passing calculus. She failed the first time and is taking it again and when she walks into class she finds the professor is none other than Alexander, her wedding hookup and when he sees her, he's not happy.
Their chemistry is off the charts and trying to stay away from each other is just not working. But there is so much at stake if they get caught, is it worth it?

You know how you paint a wall and you can stand there and watch it dry? This book is slower than that.completely unoriginal with a overweight (we aren't told size but her mother, sister and their friends and cousin) talks down on her size.

Her sister had leukemia when she was 4 and she was expected to wait hand and foot on her sister? At four years old? What the fuck is this bullshit? Maybe 7 or 8 makes sense but 4 is still not even "wipe my ass well" age ya know?

He's the cousin of the groom and hasn't seen the groom since high school but the brother of thr groom couldn't attend. Bride and sister makes a stink so he comes in the day of the wedding to fill in. He's super duper nice, doesn't like that everyone us bullying her and is dtf. Aka down to fuck.

They leave the wedding in his car and apparently he's rich cuz it's a nice hotel

Ok. So that's where I stopped so far.

I hear that shes in his calculus class after their ons? (One night stand). Who takes calc when they're 23? Okur. And why is he a professor of math? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤷🤷🙄 I don't really wanna know at this point.

Some of these arc readers arent telling it like it is....

This is the first in a new series, and this is Daisy and Alexander’s story. Daisy is constantly put down by her horrible family, and she was constantly living in her sister’s shadow, so when she is at her sisters’ wedding, she decides to do something for herself and have fun. Alexander is the groom’s cousin, and he does not have the best of families either. Daisy and Alexander spend a hot night together, and when he wakes up, she has gone. Walking into her calculus class, the last person Daisy expects to see is Alexander, as her new professor. These two try to avoid each other, but the attraction and chemistry is intense between them. This is a well written story which has a forced proximity, forbidden romance, drama, emotions, vindictive family, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I think we can all benefit from reading a book that the protagonist is voluptuous and her family is venomous and shames her size continuously.
Not saying that every college student is going to date or marry their college professor...
Or have any kind of physical relationship with their extremely rich college professor. But Daisy has, or we should say does unknowingly at her sister's wedding reception.

And then, dun dun dun Daisy's Calculus professor just happens to be Alexander her one night stand from Julia's reception.
After several attempts to ignore one another fail they opt to try FWB which leads to dating and the L word.
But things never stay that neat so,
Daisy's backstabbing cousin goes out of her way to break them up because in her words "no one will ever love her."
They'll have to battle their way through their families to find their HEA but they've got this and each other.

Everything about this book was just WOW! Older professor and his student hook up not knowing each other and then when they discover his is her professor that is when everything starts to unravel. Daisy is somewhat naive and sheltered but she becomes a very different person under the guidance of Alexander. The chemistry between these two is off the charts crazy and Alexia Chase knows how to write about desire and passion and there is an endless supply with Daisy and Alexander. So, So good throughout the whole story. Ms Chase never let up which only added to the appeal of the characters and book. Highly recommend.

I’m really into age-gap and student/teacher trope’s recently and this is one GOOD!! The age gap isn’t huge but it’s still there. Daisy and Alexander meet are a wedding and thinking they’ll never meet again things progress. Couple weeks later Daisy walks into her college math class and Alexander happens a be her teacher!!! They both try to stay away and ignore the chemistry and attention between them. When it becomes to much they give in, and talk about the SPICE!!! These two a lot more in common them they realize, and the more they get to know each other you can see just how much these two belong together. I love how these two feed off each other and start to stand up to their families about it is they truly want out of life.

This is the first book in the series and what a start.

Daisy is being pushed into a career by her father that she does not want to be in. Alexander is to take over his father's company, only if he can jump through all the hoops. Daisy and Alexander meet at a wedding, the night was more than they ever thought, but she did not stay. Fate plays her hand and when Daisey walks into her math class, Alexander is at the front.

Wonderfully written story that grabs you in from start and holds you through the story. Chemistry that explodes off the pages and burns hot. Looking forward to more in this series.

Why is he constantly rolling his neck? To look tough? To crack it? Both? Why does Heather sound like what someone thinks a mean girl would sound like? It’s not natural. Why is Daisy having a conversation about why she won’t apply for the job at the shelter in front of a woman trying to check in? Why does Alexander’s father sound like a moustache twirling villain? No one talks like that. Or like anyone in this book really. And why are they so fixated on her dropping a class? How in the world does a 4 year old have enough maturity to take care of their sick sister? This read like someone writing for the first time and then just posting it immediately. Like badly written fanfiction. WHAT IS A SHITTY LOOK?!

While attending her sisters wedding Daisy decides to have a one-night stand with Alexander. Her new brother-in-laws cousin. Daisy has always been put down by her family especially her cousin Heather. So she decides to do what she wants and lose herself in this sexy man. Alexander is in awe of Daisy shes sweet and cute and just what he's looking for. Only when he wakes up shes gone, a thank you note and thats it. When he goes to substitute teach a class who does he see in that class Daisy. They agree to stay away from eachother as now its forbidden and will destroy both their lives. His from taking over the family business and hers by flunking this class not getting into med school to join her fathers practice. Even though thats not what she truely wants. These two are AMAZING. Their chemistry will set your kindle on fire. And the love they end up having for each other wow. Soo good.

Alexia knows how to bring the heat to the pages. What starts out as a one night stand turns into so much more. There is a lot of dom/sub situations so hold on if that’s not your things

Daisy and Alexander have a quick attraction, act on it but then cannot stay away from one another…even though it’s forbidden and they both have so much to love. However, love is the true test…if you love someone enough then nothing else should matter.

They both have non-ideal family situations and to be honest both of the families are repulsive and gross - with their behavior. Both Alexander and Daisy have dreams for their careers but are they really their dreams?

I love the growth, determination and commitment we see for both Daisy and Alexander throughout the story.

They meet a her sisters and his cousins wedding and end up in bed together regardless of the age difference. She leaves before he wakes up knowing this was a one time thing only to find out he is her college professor. They are both restrained by their family obligations her promise to her father to become a doctor like him and Alexander to his father to take over his company without causing embarrassment but they can not seem to walk away from each other. Will they find the strength to live their lives on their own terms?.

Seriously steamy start to a new series. The story opens with Daisy & Alexander meeting & having a passionate one-night stand at her sister’s wedding. I loved the way it is Daisy that ghosts Alexander the next morning by walking out on him whilst he is asleep! Fast forward to the first day of the college term and Daisy is in shock when she meets her new calculus professor. I did enjoy the push/pull of both of them trying to resist the high-octane chemistry between them whilst attempting to maintain an appropriate student/teacher relationship. The plot is also given more depth by the additional complications of family pressures and expectations to which both of them are subjected. I also liked the fact that the story is told from dual p.o.v. and even an ‘Ultimate Boyfriend’ box (for regular readers of this author) makes an appearance! My only hesitation in giving 5* is I found some of the minor characters (such as Daisy’s bitchy cousin) a bit two-dimensional; in addition, in my opinion, it felt the dom/sub aspect of their relationship became a bit ‘over the top’ on occasions. I good read but I will admit, have enjoyed other novels by Alexia Chase more.

Daisy is treated like the red headed stepchild in her family. Alexander is the heir apparent to his family's company. Both are under their manipulative fathers's thumbs. When they get together for what is supposed to be a one and done they find that they can't get enough of each other. Will they risk it all for this attraction or give in to their father's demands? Ms. Chase give us drama, betrayal, lust and fun in her new Sinfully Forbidden Series. I received this ARC and voluntarily give my review.

Wow! This was one addictive read that I couldn’t put down. I was thoroughly hooked from the first page. This book is the first book in the series. It is an older man younger woman romance. He starts as a one night stand at her sisters wedding, but turns into her professor of the mandatory class she needs to graduate. It is hot and steamy. It had me hanging on the edge of my seat. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and Alexia Chase did not disappoint.

Very good romance, all in twists and turns
It's a good romance, perhaps a little cliché because of Daisy's family who is extremely insufferable towards her, constantly, and that without any restraint, which makes the character of Alexander immediately appear as a white knight, releaser of Daisy's frustrations and self-image.
The story is torrid, without any downtime and full of twists and turns between them, all complicated by their student/teacher bond.

Daisy and Alexander are absolutely perfect for each other. Both have overbearing parents who want to rule their life. They meet at a wedding and have a one night stand. When Daisy shows up to class, guess who's her professor. They truly try and stay away from each other but the pull is too strong. When their secrets come to light, what will they do? Will they risk everything to be together?
This book had me hooked from the very start. I could feel the emotions while I read the story. It was well written with amazing characters.

I love Alexia Chase’s books and this one is just perfect! Daisy meets Alexander at her sisters wedding. She’s shy, but after some flirting she decides to have one night of fun with Alexander. She leaves in the morning without saying goodbye, but they meet again the next working day as he’s her calculus professor. He never wanted a relationship, but now he’s inexplicably drawn to her. Since they can’t keep their mutual attraction from exploding, they decide to go for it in secret. I loved the push/pull of both of them trying to resist the chemistry between them while attempting an appropriate student/teacher relationship. A great read I would defenetly recommend.

I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I’m beginning to feel like a broken record when I review Alexia Chase books because I keep saying that this is my favorite. But she just keeps outdoing herself and this one is my favorite. I loved the journey that both Daisy and Alexander were on personally and they were able to grow so much throughout the story. The level of steam was as always high but I wouldn’t expect anything else given the books title. I simply loved everything about this book and I can’t wait to see what comes next in this new series.
