The Essential Christmas Cookie Cookbook by author Helen Collins is a complete and comprehensive baking book, specially aimed for the Holidays season.
This book is really useful for beginners as it offers basic information about tools, ingredients and measurement. But it is also a broad compilation of recipes, helpful to expertise cookers as it delves into the specificity and variety of recipes for Christmas. Each of them is clearly presented and designed with preparation and cooking time, with quantity of serves, ingredients and directions.
All in all, this is a perfect book to get prepared for Holidays but also to share a valuable time and cook with all family members.

The Essential Christmas Cookie Cookbook: The Baking Book With Over 100 Recipes for the Holidays by Helen Collins is a very useful book for this time of the year! The directions are clearly and simply written, something which adds a lot to the book, but I would have liked to have found more pictures of the recipes.
There are a good number of recipes in this book so we can find a lot of options, one for each person. I really enjoyed the tips provided by the author. This is a useful book that I recommend having. It teaches to prepare delicious cookies for the Christmas seasons but it can be used in any time of the year.

Just wasn't for me
I'm sure this is filled with wonderful recipes but there is something off about it for me. Perhaps its the Kindle format but it overall wasn't inviting to read. It seemed very robotic in its layout with very few pictures. The few that were printed were small and uninviting. Nothing screamed out for me to bake.
