A sweet why choose romance between 3 single dads and a single mom. But has an abrupt ending & no epilogue. 😑

~Winnie has been dealing with one disaster after another. Her one night stand with three men just add to the list, especially when she runs into each of them a month after running from their explosive night. Sawyer, Beck, and Jack say from the beginning it’s only one night and they don’t want a relationship or more kids.. So what happens when she catches feelings and winds up pregnant?~

I’m so back and forth on this one. It started out so amazing. I loved the chemistry between all four of them! What I didn’t like was Winnie completely shutting them out after she finds out she’s pregnant - even going as far as accepting a job an hour away. I understand her past with her ex husband but she didn’t even give them the benefit of the doubt.. that really bothered me.

Plus side is all the kids were absolutely adorable! Birdie is such a character and I love the relationship she develops with Olive. Henry had to of been my favorite. I just wish we could’ve seen more of him with Winnie.

The abrupt ending though. 😭 No epilogue. We don’t see them move in together. We don’t see the kids reactions to this big change. We don’t see the new baby being born. I felt super shorted on this.

I would've enjoyed this one more if some things were different.

Winnie bless her heart she was so sweet and I think she was a doormat to a evil principle who for no reason hates her like idk what she had against winnie. But as a art teacher she was free spirit which I loved and already a single parent of a kid that was to much for me honest.. I didn't enjoy Birdie there was something about the 7 year old that just didn't click with.

Beside that let's get back to the story. Winnie joined a single moms club but came in at the wrong time and walked in and blurt out everything to the single Dads club enter Sawyer, Jack and Beck right from the start all 3 men were sprung with her. They chated about kids, life and all that and well they had some fun ;). Now Winnie is in there lives it's alittle rocky since we'll Winnie is keeping a secert from the guys which annoyed me because I knew it was going to bite her in the ass.

Enter the ow drama who happens to be the ex principle and ONE OF THE GUYS EX WIFE! whyyyyyy!! That causes drama because how mean that ow was and the push away Winnie did. After that I just felt it was more drama. That could've been handled if she told them the truth.

Low angst, ow/om drama, no cheating, Drama, sexy times, no virgins

Wow.
I was not expecting to like this as much as I did.
It was funny. It was super sexy. It was really freakin emotional. I related to Winnie WAY too much to be healthy.

The plot, the kids, Winnie’s mother, the guys.
Just everything was so, so good.

I do wish there had been a couple things different, though.
For one. Anal. It Requires lubrication. Here, I was happy that they took the time to prepare her beforehand, but they only used her natural lubrication to do it. That’s just never going to be sufficient, especially for someone new to the act.
It would’ve taken 2 seconds for the author to write in about one of them tossing him some sort of coconut oil, or a tube of lube, or Something.
Don’t get me wrong.
The scene was hot.
I liked it for the most part.
That’s why it stuck out more.
Everything but the lubrication was fantastic.

Ok.
And the other thing.
That ending.
Why?🥺🥺
We don’t get to see the baby or what they name it, or more of the other kids, or where they all move together.
Basically I wanted that time skip epilogue where they’ve got everything figured out and they’re just happily living their best life together.
I mean. Again. Don’t get me wrong.
That ending was super cute.
I love the way the guys talk about the girls like they’re supervillains planning world domination. It’s sort of adorable.
I just wanted more time with them all, dammit.

I will 100% be checking out more books from this author.
This was just too good.
I need more of this in my life. Immediately.

This was an okay read. Winnie is a free spirited, quiet art teacher. Okay she’s a doormat. The way the Principal treats her, singles her out and abuses her for no apparent reason is ridiculous.

The story itself goes as expected. I liked the guys and their kids. The best parts are when they’re all together.

As for Winnie. I liked her for the most part. Not the doormat bits or when she inexplicably ignores something major and shuts everyone out.

Now Birdie. What can I say about Birdie?
She was funny but unbelievable considering her age. She explains why she’s behaving like she is and that’s fine. I just felt it was too much at 7 years old.

In my rush, I had left the lid half-off Birdie’s sippy cup…
Birdie climbed in the back of the car, settled into her booster seat….

So this is a 7 year old girl who drinks from a sippy cup and sits in a booster seat…

“Mom, it’s not a big deal. I’m seven. I know things. I’ll probably get laid in a few years, too.”

“Excuse me? Your house is a zoo, and I’m just wondering who the heck is in charge here.”

Birdie turned out to be a ball buster. “You made Olive sad today. Do better.”

“I just told him that his elephant looked like a penis!”

So like I said it’s an okay read, it ends quite abruptly and there’s no epilogue.

DNF 35%. Loved the idea and concept of this book but hated the writing of it. If written differently I probably would have gotten through it. The idea of the book was amazing I loved how they met and the single dads aspect and how the men’s job could not anymore be different from each other but the writing was terrible. One minute I am meeting the guys then the next they are fucking within the first 2 minutes of the book. I have hardly a description of the guys but have a 3 chapter sex scene. The time jumps were crazy and hardly explained until one of the guys would say things like “all I’ve been thinking of for a month is you”. Every chapter was a huge time jump. Hated the female characters, her personality was terrible and annoying. Kinda glad I DNF reading other reviews seems like a let down ending anyway.

Man, did I love this. I normally hate books with kids and pregnancies, but this was just perfect. Winnie’s chaos was amazing, I mean, things escalated quite quickly lmao, but it was great. Sawyer, Beck & Jack’s obsession with her was amazing and honestly, the dream. I also adored each of their children, except for Birdie. I get that her rudeness was supposed to be funny, but she’s honestly the worst. I truly hated her, and I wish they actually raised her instead of joking about how rude she is and all that. Seriously Winnie, you can easily get the other kids to behave, yet you just don’t care that your own kid behaves like a bitch 24/7? It wasn’t cute at all; it was just annoying. Furthermore, she was supposed to be seven, but she was clearly already behaving like a teenager, so that doesn’t make sense at all. that’s the one thing that I didn’t like in this book. I also got so mad when I hate that she took away her moment and her right to tell them argh. I hate that kid. I truly was so mad; I nearly threw my e-reader.

I totally cried a few times in this book, which surprised me. , I freaking bawled. The ending was really cute as well, these guys are truly the best. I need people like that in my life lmao. I also never adore the kids, but I really did this time besides Birdie obviously, ugh. I read until 4 am, and honestly, no regrets.

Super cute RH read! I loved the comedy aspect of this book that Bloom introduced and that her other books didn’t have.

I really enjoyed this book even though Winnie did annoy me by hiding her pregnancy for so long and ignoring it.

🎶 Wear you like a necklace. I'm so chill, but you make me jealous. But I got your heart. Skippin', skip-skippin' when I'm gone 🎶

Winnie Lane (h) is a single mother, frankly overwhelmed with her life, especially since her ex-husband provides no financial support and she is an art teacher. When her best friend suggests she goes to a single mom support group she decides she has nothing to lose. Only everything that can go wrong that day, goes wrong. With a mess of accidents she is late to the meeting, but when she opens the door it’s not a single mother’s meeting at all. Instead, she finds three men: Jack Hunter, Sawyer Stand, and Beck Myers (H) who have a single dad’s meeting. While they invite her to stay, she also notices some lingering tension between them that they act on that night.

─── ・ 。゚☆: THOUGHTS*.☽ .*:☆゚. ───

Tell me why Winnie slept with three strangers on the first night she met them. The pacing was QUICK. They were having fun ranting about their children, but with lingering touches and stares, they all decided to go further, and she agreed. I am just thinking about how good this book could have been if they had shared a friendship first, combined families, and met the kids, and that is how they fell in love. No, they had sex on the first night of meeting each other, and now they can’t get her off their minds, and she is the one for them. The worst part is they used no protection, and Winnie is pregnant for most of the book, and she doesn’t tell them. How is she hiding a three-month pregnancy term from them while dating them and fucking them, seriously? Was she not planning on telling them? They had a right to know, and she took that away. She didn’t go to the doctor’s for a check-in for months. What about prenatal vitamins? Ultrasounds? It was wild. I am a fan of unexpected pregnancies, but this threw me for a loop. I didn’t think it would be a trope in the book, considering how fast things escalated between them, and they are already single parents—adding another baby to the mix?

Plus, all three men repeatedly mentioned they didn’t want more kids; no wonder she was afraid to tell them. Still, she should have told them before letting things go further. They had a right to be angry at her over keeping it hidden. However, I like that they were angry but still wanted to be around her. They wanted her close despite the anger. It was another issue of Winnie punishing herself because she didn’t feel worthy of their love; it was honestly a mess.

[Jack]

“Well, Winnifred Lane. You’ve been fucking with my brain for the last month, and now you’re in my office. What should I do with you?”

My car is making a weird noise, though, and I can’t keep turning the stereo up to ignore it because Birdie is over the oldies station, which is the only station that comes in clear.”

“I know you’re not kidding, but I’m going to tell myself you’re just fucking with me so that I don’t lose it right here and now.”

Sometimes, people should have one-night stands and call it a day. He was thinking about her for a month after she ran off. I don’t even know what to say about that. However, he was the only one who didn’t have his former wife in his life, considering she passed. He mentioned her often and how she would have loved Winnie, but he felt bad for not mentioning her enough around his son, who asked Winnie why he was the only one with no mom. I think she handled that conversation so well, and it was a sweet moment between the two, which reveals how close they had all gotten for his son to be so comfortable with Winnie.

[Beck]

“I don’t do this shit. I’m not some scumbag boss who tries to fuck his employees. I’m not walking out of this office without tasting you, though. I can’t. Not after spending the last month and a half imagining the moment I got my hands on you again.”

Winnie quitting her job and suddenly becoming employed by Beck was a twist of events. The workplace aspect was interesting, but I still wasn't remotely interested in the dynamic or what he did. I know he was gone a lot for work, and his children were constantly disappointed, but Winnie stepped in and told them to take it easy. She was charismatic, and they quickly took a liking to her. She used her teacher's voice and activities to make it interesting for them while they waited for Beck, and while that put her in an uncomfortable position, she made it work. I think they saw a different side of each other because of his time away, and she got to know his kids and vice versa; this is when the merge of the families began.
[Sawyer]

“Do you have a problem with being my girlfriend?”

“You need a shirt.”

“No, Sawyer. I don’t have a problem with it.”

I walked up behind her and wrapped her in a hug. “Good.”

Tell me why she didn’t know his last name until that moment. His ex-wife had been making her life miserable at her former job, and she didn’t know until she showed up. I think one should know this information before deciding to label the relationship. This is what I mean when I say they didn’t know small things about each other. At times, the relationship felt unrealistic and physical. They needed to get to know each other before starting a relationship and becoming new parents.

[All]

“Are we going to be a family now?”

When Winnie didn’t answer right away, Jack growled. “Yeah, Bird. We’re going to be a family now.”

The family components CARRIED the book. The children all getting along and being menaces together and Winnie fitting right in, it was perfect. It was honestly my favorite part. The fact that they all would get together and be at each other’s homes. So Winnier and Birdie were no longer alone and had people in their circle. I think it was sweet that the other kids were still involved in their mother’s lives but still respected Winnie and enjoyed her company. I still think the pacing was way too quick, especially for another baby in the family but oh well
.

It was an interesting read, BUT the events that happened were chaotic and the pacing itself was all over the place. I think if the timeline of events had been different, then I would have loved it.

Such a fun read, the story lacks a little in places, hence the loss of a star, but it’s got some hilarious kids and best friends in it that keep it rolling along.

I thought this book was super cute and it was so good. There was so many sweet and totally funny moments. It was weird that there wasn’t an epilogue kind of wished to see a bit more on the ending. Winnie did get in my nerves a bit with her secret keeping and thoughts about it sometimes.

The first 10% is heavy duty cringe. Leaning way too heavily into I’m pathetic and insecure and gosh darn it the world is against me stuff. FMC (Winnie) showed up to the Single Dads Meeting (which is really just coincidentally 3 hot single dads who are besties and chill in a weird meeting space that is below a bar for some bizarre reason. Her appearance is as follows: paint & fruit punch spilled on her dress and hair (back & front), both cheerios & GUM stuck in her hair AND a bruised forehead from when she stopped short earlier and managed to hit her head on the steering wheel.
There is also a bit where she was totally stumped on how to climb up and sit on a barstool that made me so irrationally mad I wrote an indignant goodreads status about it. SO RIDICULOUS.

I skimmed around bc I didn’t care about certain aspects but I read a good portion of the middle and it was alright. The miscommunication trope is pretty thin, and the keeping-secrets-to-protect-herself thing is annoying and I hate it. But I like all the kiddos and the MMCs are genuinely delightful the whole book.

I didn’t enjoy how Winnie did not in any way take care of herself or her baby once finding out she was pregnant, even though she intended to have the baby. Gave me the ick. Grow the fuck up girl. You have a daughter. You should know better than to be fucking around with neglecting your unborn child. Honestly Winnie kinda sucks.

The cringe level shoots back up for me in the last few chapters when even AFTER these men tell Winnie how much they love her and want the baby and she’s moving in with them and they’re going to be a family, she is still OTT pathetic. She almost faints bc she hadn’t eaten all day and when asked why this is explanation:

“I meant to eat my smoothie bowl, but the kids wanted to play, and I wanted to get your breakfast ready before I went out with them. I forgot to eat it afterwards because I didn’t want to be in the way in the kitchen when you guys were talking.”

Blegh.

So, Idk y’all. This is ranty af review my bad.

I loved this book by Rebel Bloom! We have Winnie, a single mom struggling with everything, her job, her bills, and life in general. She is talked into going to a Single Moms Club meeting by her best friend. Unfortunately, she got the date wrong and ended up barging into the Single Dads Club where she meets 3 incredibly handsome men; Sawyer, Jack and Beck. Sparks fly in that first meeting and Winnie learns what it is like to not have to choose between the three best friends. After running out on the guys, Winnie figures it was a one time thing until she accidentally meets them all again. Sparks keep flying, they meet each other's kids and then a positive test makes Winnie want to run again. Will they finally all come together? The HEA is very sweet. I can't wait to read her next book.

This is such a fun RH romance. I loved how Winnie met the guys and her verbal diarrhea that followed. She sure needed to unload and they were the perfect set of ears...and eyes because they loved what they saw in her ;) What followed was a hot and steamy romance with angst and a surprise pregnancy. I giggled or smiled throughout but that humour didn't take away from the story or other emotions written in. Adding in the children, and their antics, and her mother, my goodness her mother!, this was a highly entertaining read and a fab intro to her work for me. I can't wait to check out her other books :D

She was as threatening as a butterfly.

What can I say, this book was absolutely brilliant. The author has knocked it out of the park. The dynamic that develops between Winnie, Sawyer, Jack & Beck is what makes this storyline and plot so engaging that it had my attention from the very 1st line until the last line. I didn't want the story to end. If you love reverse harem then I highly recommend going out & reading this book as you won't be disappointed. I have to say that the comedic moments in the book perfectly balance the more serious side. I have never laughed so much reading a book.
With Winnie's doubts how hard will the guys fight for their chance at a HEA with her?.

I had higher hopes for this book, but it just focused on how depressed this girl is and her fucking the guys. Like were is the drama, the family build up and why didn't we get more of Gabe and James?

The base plot was decent but it had so much more potential than what the author ended up publishing. Also Winnie has some severe daddy issues, like the girl is crying and getting comfort from her dead dads closet. Seriously girl get some therapy...
