loved it

This book grabbed me from the beginning - but it was the characters that I really enjoyed to read. The action was non-stop but still allowed me to really enjoy what was happening. I started this with my breakfast and didn’t put it down until late in the afternoon, when I finished it. I’m going to go and read the others in the series now.

AI, serious manipulation of people

Bo Finnerty is ordered to look at and approve a satellite to be launched from an American base in the Pacific . The beginning of weird events . Kaden is approached by a young teenager to help him after his parents are murdered .
I found this story to be complicated and showing the greed and corruption that seems to be infused in the "elite" and in government . Power . From corporate billionaires to the white house and national security departments.
Kaden has developed a personal AI, Amelia . Dr Faraday deigned a much more advanced AI, Max.
Some characters are involved from previous books . The story is a high tech thriller on a couple of levels .
Author please review your use of the word "astride". I think it' s the wrong word. No significant typos. I had a couple of continuity questions . Otherwise pretty good . I hope to see Kaden and her team in a future novel.

Wow!

This is my first book by J.D. Lasica, and also my first high-tech thriller! This book grabs you from the start and doesn't let go. If life hadn't gotten in the way, I would have finished it in 2 days. A real page turner! I didn't think I would be all that interested in this genre, but this book changed my view. If your a high-tech/military thriller fan, this book delivers. Check it out.

A low-quality thriller story about a stolen satellite and a madman's plan to eliminate the US government (no comments from me on whether or not this is a good idea). Many unexplained references to previous events which do not seem to have any relevance to this story which is a definite negative mark against the author. A bit of a chore to read this book and stay interested.

awe inspiring

I really appreciate his closing chapter of firefall it is a true statement of the thinking of humans today. A lot of preachers should preach on this last chapter. It is truly a sensational read. Every Christian and non Christian should read it to get a true perspective on what is happening in our world. Loved all 3 books.
