A terrific start to Anna's new series as she introduces the former SEALs I'm gonna fall for through out the series. Up first was Logan...irresistibly sweet man with a warrior's heart. Natalie...the tough survivor navigating her way through new territory as a widow. Two hearts destined to collide when the time is right. This story was heartbreaking in so many ways, and the path to their HEA is a rough one. With action, danger, and suspense, this story keeps you engaged as a new security team is born.

Only months after SEAL Hunter Garrison bought Natalie a drink, they married. On his last mission, Hunter died in his best friend’s arms after making him promise to take care of Natalie. Logan and his team have been punished in the worst way possible, after the biggest loss the team could imagine, they are then used as a scapegoat by the country they have defended, fought for, bled for and sacrificed for. This first book in the series focuses on Nat and Logan and their journey after Hunt's death, it's an emotional and heart wrenching journey that neither expected to take, but that happens just before Nat needs Logan and the team most. She finds herself embroiled in a dangerous investigation with many twists, a number of victims and very ruthless men who will stop at nothing to keep their money and their secrets.
It is awesome to see the team back together and see the beginning of Eagle's Nest Securities as they not only help others but dive into the shadows of their own dismissal, the cover up and exactly who is behind it.
A fantastic read on Kindle Unlimited, I look forward to the rest of the series.

The start of this is heartbreaking, something many serving military have to suffer sadly. Logan and Hunt were such close friends, it made me cry as Logan did everything he possibly could. The struggle to keep his feelings for Nat hidden was equally hard while still looking out for her and being the friend she needed. This story felt quite raw and emotional for much of it, add in the feelings of betrayal and then the threat to Nat it made for possible explosions at some point. Fabulous start to a brand new series by Anna, it has all the suspense and some action wrapped up in romance and friendship. High emotions from grief to anger to love and loyalty, it's a mix that works well and certainly had me completely sucked in from the start. It's well written with a steady to fast pace and some steam, I loved the sparks and connection between Logan and Nat, the deep friendship they had built up while he already felt something stronger. The rest of the guys soon came to support them when needed and without being asked. I'm excited to see how this series plays out and if they get their answers and justice. Gripping and powerful read and I'm happy to reccomend.

I love Anna Blakely's books! This book is no exception. This is the first book in the Eagle's Nest Security series. If this book is anything to go by, I can't wait for the next one. This book has all the feels. It definitely doesn't lack in the suspense department, either. Logan's SEAL team suffered a devastating loss. After two failures in the field, they are summarily dismissed from the Navy. Natalie and Logan live in the same town. Whenever she needs him, Logan is there for her. After suffering a break in at her home, he is Natalie's first call. Determined to protect her no matter what, he calls his team after a series of suspicious events. What happens next is startling, to say the least. Natalie and Logan are also desperately trying to ignore their feelings for each other. It all comes to a head when Natalie is threatened. Will they succeed in overcoming everything thrown their way to get the HEA they deserve? Get this book ASAP and find out. Sorry, no spoilers. I received this ARC and here is my honest review

Keeping His Promise is Anna Blakely at her best. Action packed from the beginning, it starts with tragedy and a devastating loss for the elite Black Squadron One Seal Team. Team leader Logan determines to always be there for best friend Hunt’s widow and moves across the country to support Natalie. Logan has suppressed his feelings for Nat whilst being the friend she needed. Nat knows Logan is always there for her, he’s her best friend but she wants more.
A fascinating story exploring the emotions of grief and guilt over moving on, love and loyalty and friendship. I loved Nat’s internal dialogue with Hunt and his voice in her head. When Nat’s job takes a dangerous turn Logan calls on the rest of his former team to investigate. Exciting, emotional and gripping with awesome characters in Nat and Logan, I can’t wait for the rest of the new Eagle’s Nest Securities Team to have their stories and get to the bottom of the tragic event that started it all. Loved the book and highly recommend reading it. It does need some proofing work but doesn’t detract from the story or enjoyment.

Hooray! A new series by Anna Blakely and if Keeping His Promise is any indication it's going to be great! Start to finish the book captivated me. So much so that I'll forgive Ms Blakely for making me cry in the first chapter. Natalie Garrison and Logan Hayes are the focus of Promise but you'll meet the former SEAL teammates of Logan's who'll have upsoming book, I am sure. An interesting and varied cast for sure.
They say timing is everything and Logan missed out capturing Natalie's interest by just ten minutes when his best friend, Hunter Garrison, met her first. Fulfilling a promise, Logan has been there for and watches out for Natalie for the past two years while keeping his feeling stuffed down deep inside. What he doesn't know is that she's begun to hatbor the same feelings for him recently and even has her late husband's approval to--go for it. Unwittingly caught up in a nefarious scheme, Natalie is protected by not only Logan but the entire team as they investigate the crime. Rest assured all's well that ends well and there's an HEA.

Wow starting the series off with a bang
What do I need to say. It's great, go read it. Seriously, go get it now. It has it all action adventure, love, mystery, giggles and the feels. I can't believe you're still reading my review and not this book. Ok here goes I liked that they are just starting up the firm its almost like going back and getting the prequel, but it's the actual beginning, so that felt different and really cool. I loved Logan and Nat, but dang you really had to kill off my boy Hunter like that? I liked him a lot he was so cool, but I get it gotta sucker punch is in the feels and in order for Nat and Logan to get their HEA he had to go... Coulda made him go MIA presumably KIA and then find out later he lost his memory but lived and then gave him a different HEA?? Eh, that probably wouldn't have worked anyway. Oh right review. Seriously stop reading this and go pick your copy today of Keeping His Promise, it's great.

Logan and Natalie. Widow and the deceased spouses best friend are not my typical book. This story though had to share that part as the death of the best friend was in a military action and it appears as though this series is going to have an umbrella storyline of getting the truth about who sold them out on a covert mission. For the actual book though Logan and Natalia have feelings for each but aren’t sure of next steps as they both are worried about appearances and losing each other. Natalie gets in danger though and Logan quickly steps over the romantic concerns to ensure safety. The story moves quickly about the danger and brings the rest of the team back in a natural and very loving way as they all care for Natalie. The villains were predictable, but the why was quite creative. The ending was sweet and I do think Donovan may be my favorite right now! Can’t wait to see where this series goes.

what a start!
I love an Anna Blakely series, I just know I’m in for a hefty dose of action, drama and HAF romance, and this series kicks off with exactly the right tone.
A somber start, this book nevertheless pulls us along quickly into a story of loving from afar and the heady rush of danger and intrigue. Adorable characters, Nat is sweet yet feisty and holds her own in a group of super protective protectors, except with one who she has inadvertently had the longest of courtships!
Logan is protective to his core and stands by Nat not only because he promised, but because he feels so strongly about her.
The storyline is emotive and compelling, with a lot going on whilst the series and characters are set up as well as delivering an amazing romance between the MC’s.
I’m so excited to read more!!

Wow! This is one of the best books I've read. It had everything. Great characters, great suspenseful plot, slow-burn love. Logan and Natalie have become best friends after her husband Hunter, a SEAL, was killed in action. Hunter had been Logan's best friend and teammate. Logan had promised to take care of Natalie if anything ever happened to Hunter. After Hunter died, Logan does just that, though it's no hardship to him since he's been in love with her for years. Logan has to step up his protection game after Natalie is targeted for unknown reasons. The rest of Logan's SEAL team steps up to help them as well.
This is the first book in a new series titled Eagle Nest Securities. I can hardly wait for the next book. I think anyone who likes contemporary romance or romantic suspense would love this book.

I already knew I would be hooked on this series and I was not disappointed in the first book! What a phenomenal start to a new incredible series by one of my favorite authors! Logan has always loved his best friend's wife Natalie, but was okay keeping his distance for their happiness. When an unfortunate turn during one of Logan's missions results in his best friend's death, he is devastated as his whole life is turned upside down. Nat is heartbroken losing her husband in such a horrible way, but finds support in her loved ones around her. Life continues on until Nat finds her own life in danger and Logan is there to keep her safe. As the threat continues, a romance blossoms and the start of a new adventure begins! I cannot wait to devour the entire series!

On a mission, Navy Seal Logan and his team walk into an ambush, and one of his men gets hurt. As he is lying there dying, Hunter makes Logan promise to look after his wife. Logan promises but knows how hard that will be since he is already in love with her.
Two years later, Natalie is finally starting to feel like she has her life together. She got a dream gig at her accounting firm and has Logan, her best friend in the world.
Shortly after getting the gig, Natalie's tires get slashed, and her house gets broken into. Logan and his team come together to help her discover who is doing this, and maybe it has to do with the new gig she got.
Natalie and Logan fight their feelings of guilt and love as they navigate this dangerous time.

Omg this was so good!!
This was about ex seal Logan and his love for his best friends widow, Natalie.
So much action and drama, as they build a tentative relationship after the death of his best friend in the war. Definitely a slow build as they fight the danger after Natalie, and work with the team to keep her safe.
I loved the attraction they build, as it feels like it's about time for Logan to get what he wants. The steam is small but the love is big and wanted.
Very well written, I do love Anna's writing and her characters are so compelling.
I'm excited to read more of this new series as the characters coming up are really engaging. So good and highly recommended!!

This is without a doubt one of the best, if not the best book, I’ve ever read! The first page pulls you in in a way that doesn’t let go until you have read to the last page. Setting up the story for Nat and Logan and the history for both of them with Hunter on the very first page. Navigating a potential relationship with your best friends’ widow or vice versa with your dead husband’s best friend is tricky. BUT this book does it so perfectly that you are instantly rooting for them. You get all the feels with this one. And the suspense and the special bond between the team and this book is a winner from start to finish. I can’t wait to read more of this series!

I love this story it’s one tragedy, loss, a coverup, corruption and then love. Logan and Natalie both felt the death of Hunter, a husband and a brother. Logan had been there for Natalie all along, taking care of her like he promised Hunter. He had secretly been in love with her before she married Hunter, but kept quiet because Hunter fell for her. After she was attacked he expressed that he had cared for her more than a friend. Things escalated, Logan called his ex team members and they got the job done and the crooks were exposed. Absolutely love this story!

I have always loved Anna Blakely’s books. She has started a new series and I can’t say enough about it. It is a fast paced read and awesome mystery and suspense. It’s a new start of a security agency and how it begins. Logan Hayes an ex-Navy SEAL who watched his best friend die in his arms on a failed mission. He has made him a promise to take care of his wife Natalie whom he has loved for awhile. She has taken on an auditing job and finds her life is in danger. That’s when His old team comes in to help solve the mystery.

Keeping His Promise is the first book in the new Eagle’s Nest Security series, and it is an awesome start. Anna Blakely writes great characters. I love the personalities of the new team. Logan has always had a thing for Natalie, but his best friend got her first. Logan made a promise to Hunter that he would take care of Natalie if anything happened to him. As he takes care of everything for her their feelings grow. He calls in his team when she is in danger. The suspenseful plot is great, and I couldn’t or it down! I can’t wait for the next book!

What a great way to start this series. Logan and Natalie’s story was moving. What transpired to this team was heartbreaking and renewal comes slowly for them all. Then intrigue, suspense and a call for backup has the team racing to protect both Natalie and to assist Logan. Kept me reading straight through. You don’t want to miss this series! Looking forward to future books. Deserves more than 5 stars.

I liked so much of this story. The widow who finds love again holds a special place in my heart. Especially when she’s in danger and she has a hot SEAL to rescue her and steal her heart. That Logan and Natalie were able to get past the fact that Hunter was Natalie’s husband and Logan’s best friend was done so well.
Might have rated this to 4* if there hadn’t been so many spelling and grammar errors.

This book is the first in the Eagles Nest Securities series. Anna Blakely can tell a story that keeps you enthralled and waiting for the next page. The brotherhood and loyalty shown by these men after one of their own is killed will fill your heart. I couldn't put this book down and finished it in one sitting. The H/h are so well written that you cannot wait to see what happens next. Great start to a new series cannot wait for the next one.

I loved Natalie and Logan. They were the classic couple, with a few extra issues! Love being in on a new chapter/series, you get to see new folks and the development of what is to come. It's looks fabulous and I look forward to reading these new characters. The banter between the guys/brothers, was spot on and I love it when the guy falls first, and being a part of what it takes to get the girl. It's like all the holiday's put together for sure!

Good story, overly long sex scene detracts from it
When I read the intro, I thought this was the sort of book I could really enjoy, action, strong characters etc. The first third was a bit tedious: should he say something, or should she say something. A lot less action. Then the sex scene: give or six pages on my Kindle. Then, at last a return to the action and the founding of Eagle’s Nest Securities. Let’s see what the next one is like.

Book one a interesting first book, the storyline is not new man in love with his team brother and best friends wife, when gun fire takes one of their own the team are discharged (unfairly and to get them out the way from investigating) now out the team spend two years working different jobs until the wife is in trouble and team protects her.creating eagle nest.
Loved the team we learn more about Logan in this one.

Wow. Wow. Wow. When Anna Blakely starts a new series she has her boys EXPLODE on the scene! Not gonna post any spoilers, but I am so in love with this team already! Just from the prologue she had me hooked. Now must suffer while she writes the rest. Bravo, Anna. Amazingly well done!
